Golf/GTI VI :: Rattling Noise While Pull Out In Drive?

I have had my car for two weeks and I noticed a rattling noise when I pull out in drive (DSG). It only rattles sometimes and at very low rpm for about two or three seconds and it goes away. The dealership has looked at it twice and didn't find anything. Of course, when I drove around with the mechanic it didn't rattle. Someone posted a video with some flex pipe noise which is very similar to what I am experience but it was mentioned on it that the rattle should go away after some miles. I already have 700 miles and still rattles. Dealership said the exhaust wasn't loose.
I finally got my GTI after having a hard time letting my beloved Rabbit go away and this noise is keeping me awake at night.

On mine a few months back I started getting a creaking noise on the right side when I pull into my drive way, The dealer looked at it and said it would have to go to their body shop to re do some welds...

My '99 Toyota Corolla with 145K miles is making this rattling noise. It is audible in drive and reverse, but not in neutral or park. At first I thought coming from the dashboard area, like under the hood. However, I tried listening under the hood and couldn't really hear it over the engine noise. Finally I realized it actually seems to be coming from under the dashboard on the driver's side, right above the pedals. I made a recording holding the microphone down there. I own a 91 Mercedes, model 190E which is just perfect for a retired single woman. As you probably already assume this car has 141,000 miles with an automatic transmission and I have had it in the various mechanic shops in my small town. I tried to remain with one mechanic or another, for continuity sake, but always find there is something haywire with the repairs done to it.
After one of the repairs jobs which included the replacement of the torques converter, rear main and transmission seals to include the O-rings, the car wouldn't shift from first gear. They kept it for 5 weeks during this repair. I had to rent a car for transportation during this period. I took the car back and they kept it for another three weeks.
When the car was returned to me it had a shuddering noise when in drive at idle. If I shift to neutral gear the noise and shuddering stops. I didn't take it back after that I was so discouraged about the change in the operation of my vehicle. I depend on these mechanics and just feel they are taking advantage. I have taken the car to several mechanics and cannot find anyone that can identify the problem. So, what is causing it the rock and roll of this car.

I have a 2009 Toyota Matrix S. There is a rattling noise coming from my engine compartment whenever i drive 60+ mph. It sounds like it's metal on metal. Nothing is loose inside. I took it to the dealer and they told me the water pump bearings were bad and replaced my whole water pump. That didn't resolve my problem. The rattling is still there.

I'm a new prius owner. I noticed that when I'm driving and the doors are LOCKED the door will open if I pull the handle. Only the drive and passenger side opens when LOCKED in drive mode. The back two door DOES NOT open when LOCKED in drive mode. Is this normal?

I bought a 99 7.3 been in the trees for a few years pulled it home and now trying to get it running. Did a service new filters and oil fuel too. I can get it to start and will run but runs very rough and if you put it in drive cant pull its own self. I don't have a check eng light on. And found out my scanner is a pos lol. it will hooked up and then try to pull codes and loses it connection. But that's the scanner will not work on my other 7.3 as well.
I am making high pressure oil checked off the rail with gauge and it will build up to 2000 psi when I rev it. but missing like crazy. I swaped the pcm and idm out of my running 7.3 and it didn't change a thing. I have checked the pass though and they are fine. pulled drivers side valve cover off and no oil leaks when running and rockers are fine. new ipr valve as well too. I know I need to get a scanner to talk to this thing better.

I have a 1988 FORD Ranger with the 2.9 liter engine with the four speed automatic overdrive transmission. Several days ago the transmission went out. The truck will not pull in reverse, overdrive, drive, second or first. Usually most vehicles will usually have at least the reverse, A first or second when the drive and overdrive stops working altogether. What the problem could be?

My truck is starting to shift strange. As it warms up and I'm in drive, it will shift between drive and 2nd by itself. When I pull up to a stop lite, it's like it's stuck in drive and doesn't downshift. Ultimately it dies. I've checked my fluid and its fine. Any ideas? Oh and my engine light is on. Can a parts store find the code for the issue I'm having?

Have a rattling noise in excess of 70 MPH. Didn't have any unusual noises before I put the EVOMS in, so I'm thinking it's something related to it. Only thing I lacked was the two OEM rubber grommets that, according to the EVOMS install instructions, were reused on the aftermarket airbox.
Item #2 on the IPC:
Other suspected culprits are the firewall blanket or the belly pan, which is hanging slightly on the aft end.

Having issues with a rattling noise with their APR TBE? The rattling continues even after the car is warm. Sounds like its coming from somewhere in the middle or more towards the front of the vehicle.

Yesterday i had taken my front grill off, 08 R32 including the bottom sections where fogs would otherwise be since you have to.... Anyway, i did all that to get my euro plate secured on my grille. Now I'm hearing a rattling noise when I go over a rough surface or descent sized bump. Everything with the grill is clipped and bolted back in tightly, any other things that could be causing this?

How many are having a problem with the door speakers vibrating when playing music with a fair amount of bass? Both of my door speakers are making noise even when playing music at relatively low volumes with just a moderate amount of bass.
Is there a known fix for this problem? Will my dealer have the parts necessary to fix the problem? I will be due for my first oil change in a couple of weeks and was wondering if I should call and give them a heads up.

I own a MK4 Golf GTI which has recently started making a rattling noise when I first start the car (Perhaps cold weather?). It will continue for roughly a minute despite load (A/C, acceleration) before It stops and It won't happen again until the car has cooled down hours later. It's quite an unsettling noise and I would like to be set in the right direction.
After a couple hours online I'm leaning towards perhaps the belt tensioner being to blame? I haven't delved too deep into the noise but do believe it is from the left side of the motor. Can likely clarify on the weekend.
Is there anything to worry about? If so, where do I start? I myself was trying to fiddle around and see if the noise would happen at higher revs, which it seems to. [URL] .....

Chatter or noise in general from your power steering? Backing into my parking spot today I heard rather loud chatter when the wheel was hard over. Seemed to get louder when the car was in motion. Overall the power steering is rather loud and sounds like it struggles but I am not sure if that is normal on these. The chatter definitely can not be normal. Car only has 700 miles on the clock

The noise is coming from the area of the pulleys, and can be perfectly heard behind the passenger side front wheel.
The car is an AWD 1.8T Golf 2002 model.

Ever since day 1, I noticed my wife's 2011 TDI/DSG make clattering/rattling noise during low gear changes (1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gear), it sounded like a diesel engine's clattering/clicking but a little louder at gear changes. I mentioned it to the dealer at 3month/3k checkup and they test drove and say it's normal. Is it really normal?

I have a 2003 1.8t jetta. I got it in the fall and never really needed to turn on my AC until this week. It works, fans work at all speeds, blows ice cold air.
But i noticed today that my fans can be on and nothing. But when I hit the AC button there's a loud rattling sound. Everything works. It's just making noise when the AC is on. Whenever I turn it off the noise goes away.
I tried looking it up and couldn't find anything.
