I have recently installed a pair of HELLA LED tail lights for my MKV R32 and there is a yellow indicator light showing in my dashboard telling me that both my tail lights are not working, but they are working.

View 1 RepliesMy last ride was as 1988 Ford pick up 275,000 miles ... the poor thing finally died ... but it gave good service right to the end. I replaced the Ford with a 2009 Prius and it's a great car. So far no problems just routine stuff until a day or so ago. The little yellow "Windshield air flow indicator light" can on. I checked my Bentley book and it doesn't tell me anything. So what I should be look for to fix the problem. Other than "Take it back to the dealer"
View 4 RepliesWas driving along and turning right. The small yellow light for power assist came on the dashboard of my 2009 Tiguan. Stopped the car for awhile and when I restarted it was gone. Then as I was turning a corner it came back on. Once again, stopped and restarted, it was gone. What may be the issue?
View 24 RepliesYesterday I bought my first mk5 CW R32 2008. It has 51000 km and it is practically new.It has the dsg gearbox.
Now after watching lots of video on youtube, I noticed that mine do not show on the bottom right of the dashboard the selected gear like other do.
Is this an option that i should enable or what?
RX 400H 2006 model. After 130k km, the car suddenly stopped with check hybrid warnings. The one and only lexus dealer in Greece replaced the hybrid unit due to failure of the power module. ( the car was on recall but they have never contacted me). After the replacement there was a rattle sound coming from the combustion engine when it was running on the morning for 3-5 min.The new inspection of the dealer showed a crack on the head gasket of the 4th cylinder.( I have post it here under a different username) .
The options that I was given was either to have the engine replaced with a used one or to fix the old engine. The cost of fixing was triple of finding an engine. So I purchased a used one (via ebay!) , it was from a car issued in the United Sates. The one and only dealer refused to put it on my vechicle because it was not going to fit and work due to different electrical wiring . So I found a mechanic who managed to put on the us engine easily and with no issues except from a yellow light that goes on seconds after staring the ignition key.On the diagnostic tool shows a warning about ABS system although the brakes are ok and ABS works fine. The car is running after engine replacement for 25k km with no problems. I attach a photo of it.
My Drl indicator light did not show on the dash when I drive in a sunny day(Auto Switch), but it show up when it dusk.
View 11 RepliesMy boss has an 08 Tiguan and he got an error light on his dash coming to work today. It's yellow with an exclamation mark in the centre. On both side's there's a solid line and on the bottom it's got a "squiggly" line.
What it might be or if this is something known about them? He states there's no performance loss or anything acting up at all. Short of bringing it to a dealer which will be closed by the time we're both off work I thought I would start here.
I have no owners manual and cannot determine the meaning of this light indicator on my dashboard. It resembles a letter "U" more horseshape with the exclamation point in the middle of the U. How to determine the problem that this light indicates? BTW, I have been driving my car and concerned that continuing will damage.
View 11 RepliesMy car (2006 Prius with 250k miles) was operating normally all day today. Still getting very good mileage around 52 mpg on average. Then abruptly, the big red triangle and few other yellow warning lights (check engine, VSC, and an indicator with exclamation mark in the middle) showed up while the car was moving around 20 mph.
Now, the car does not have much power and it was very difficult to speed up or going uphill. Turned the engine off and then back on. The symptoms still persist. The battery indicator was at only 1 bar. Let the engine run for a while and the battery indicator went to 3 or 4 bars. Turned the car off and then back on, the battery indicator went back to 1 bar immediately. Also the battery fan was running at high speed, even through I have just started driving for about 5 minutes.
Will do the following tomorrow:
(1) check 12v battery,
(2) use Torque SW to see if HV battery has proper values, and
(3) read diagnostic codes.
My Lexus was working fine till yesterday, but today when I started (button press) it, it started giving me a Check VSC error and Check engine light along with Slip Indicator started showing up
Took it to Autozone for the codes and got

My RX350 2012/13 model AWD check system and slip indicator warning light are permanently ON on the dashboard. The car is driving normal. How to clear the indications because I am very uncomfortable with it.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2012 ecoboost, recently I went to the trip gauge mode and the display screen for trip A had a yellow rectangle imposed over the time,mpg ect.and would not function correctly. When I switch to trip B info, all info operated correctly and no yellow rectangle in trip B mode. Trip A mode continues be inoperable and still has the yellow rectangle even after the engine was shut off several times during the day.
View 3 RepliesToday all of a sudden my yellow engine indicator lighted up. I tried turning off the vehicle and start it back to see whether it goes off. No luck in that effort.
I have Prius 2012. I serviced it last on 10/31/2014 and I have now run 8000 Kilo Meters after the last service. I am using 0W-20 as my engine oil.
I see the vehicle going to EV mode and Engine mode depending on the way I drive and I've even achieved 20Kmpl in the last run. Could this be a sensor or a serious issue.
I know a few days ago all of my blinker lights were working properly since I had the car serviced at the dealer and they made me test all the lights before I dropped it off. But yesterday my "check the lights" yellow lightbulb indicator came on, so I thought, ok, probably one of lights burned out. But then, when I needed to turn left, I saw my blinker on the dashboard blink with twice the usual frequency, but the only turning light I could see from behind the wheel, on the left mirror was blinking normally.
So, I stopped, got out of the car and looked around to find that neither of my front or rear left blinkers were working at all. So, here come the questions. How likely is it for BOTH lights to burn out at exactly same time? If they did, would this cause the dashboard blinker to blink at twice the usual rate? And if so, why is the mirror blinker blinks at normal rate? By the way, the right blinker is not affected by this strange affliction. Continuing, what is the best way to find out if this is
(a) capacitor problem,
(b) burned-out light(s) or
(c)(worst possible case)problem with a very expensive control board.
I`ve got 2006 prius , the car worked fine , there was no problem.
Today , while driving , Red exclamation mark , yellow exclamation mark appeared on dashboard , and red car with sign on the main LCD screen.
Gen III, 2010 Prius III ... There is a flashing yellow triangle, dashboard lights up, but won't start. The dome lights won't turn off, in any position.
Drove it last night and drive it regularly, daily. I came out to the driver side door being not fully closed. What's going on?
Great car, Love it! It's a big improvement from the 2006 Prius.
When applying the brakes and holding the pedal down, I notice that the indicator for slippery/traction yellow icon appears in my dash when completely stopped.
There is no map option on the steering wheel that allows you to switch back to the Nav/Map system on the HD display. Is there a voice command?
All of a sudden I have only one light (Driving lights)) on the dashboard. I used to have two. I have the Driving Light indicator showing but the headlight indicator light is not lighting up.
The headlights come on OK but not the indicator showing the headlights are on.
I got "check Hybrid System" error with all sensors are yellow on the dashboard of my 2011 Prius with 80k odometer reading. Currently no Hybrid system, only petrol engine works.

I have the following warning lights on:
1) Check Engine
2) Yellow Indicator, looks like exclamation point inside a circle inside parenthesis.
3) Red Multi-information display (exclamation point inside a triangle)
4) Hybrid System Warning Light on display screen, looks like exclamation point through a car
The engine cranks up just fine and drives forward and backward in the driveway fine. Battery level indicator is blue (see image). I checked for turbulence in the inverter reservoir with the engine off and fluid was flowing.
I checked the 12V battery (using the car's measurements by holding Display and turning lights on and off 3 times) and its value was 12.1 volts without engine and A/C on and 11.8 volts with them on.
The fan in the back right passenger seat is always on now though (I don't remember ever hearing this fan noise before), regardless of engine on or not, even though it's only about 80 degrees outside and it's been sitting idle all day and all last night. It comes on pretty much immediately when the power button is pushed.
