I notice that my wiper arm (passenger side) does not go down when i turn on the car ,and go up a inch when i shut off the car. Is it normal. Usually when I start the car in the morning my wiper arm with go down a inch,when i shut off the car the passenger side wiper will move up a inch. Lately it seem like it does not do it every time I turn on and off the car only occasionally...
View 8 RepliesLast night while driving in the ice and snow storm we had in the north east my passenger side wiper started acting funny was hitting the driver side wiper and not going full cycle. I think there is something wrong with the linkage,the driver side works fine bringing it in for service Monday.

My passanger side blade has been hitting the side of my windshield randomly since the car was new. Wasn't able to replicate the issue at the dealer so I was pulling the blade off last night to investigate and broke the small square retaining clip (Red arrow). Do the clip assembly (Blue arrow) can be purchased separately or if I have to buy a whole new wiper.
View 4 RepliesI just picked up my new GTI a couple weeks ago and today is the first time using the wipers. The passenger side wiper doesn't work at all. I took a look at it and the wiper is different from the driver side. The wiper itself is cheap plastic with holes every inch. The connector to the wiper arm is purple. Could this be a "temporary" wiper that was installed during shipment and the dealer forgot to switch out?

View 2 RepliesSo I was driving yesterday and my roof was still covered in snow. Came to a stop sign on a hill and all the snow from the roof decided to come off all at once onto my windshield. I turned the wipers on and only 1 wiper moved so I turned them off and then had to get out and clean all the snow off. Now my passenger side wiper arm doesn't move or moves randomly but not in sync with the other at all. If I lift the wiper arm up so the blade is in the air the arm moves no problem but the second I put the blade down it acts up again. It doesn't look bent or anything but it is loose and wobbly as in I can move the arm up and down where the drive side one seems pretty firm. How I can even take off the arm in the first place to look at it?
View 13 RepliesI recently bought a used 2010 Prius and I've noticed that the Windshield wiper position on the passenger side stops below the windshield. This causes a slight "thunking" sound when the wipers are going. I'm trying to see if this is something that is relatively easy to fix myself. Judging by the position if I move the passenger side up I'll also have to move the driver side.
View 7 RepliesI have an O4 Phaeton here - the passenger wiper motor doesn't work.. After removing unit - verifying mechanical operation I've found that it's function just fine. However there is no power to connector. When wipers are running I supplied power with power probe and wiper operates just fine.
Cant find location and # for what I presume is a bad fuse. I looked for fuse diagrams all over and cant find one.
Passenger side wiper blade extending over the glass? Asking the dealer to see if this needs adjustment.
View 8 Replies2011 golf 2.5l. It all started a year ago, I changed a bulb.from there the head light error came on. I switched out the head light switches on both. Driver Side works all the time and both have been.now getting same problem it in passages side. Have to press the wire for the head light to even turn on sometimes ...... Not under warranty sense I replaced the bulbs my self..... I asked if I can get new wiring. But got a laugh and got a reply that I have to replace the whole head lights it self as a unit. So if I do have to go that route . Not hide stock head lights.
View 5 RepliesI noticed today that when im sitting still and i turn the wheel the car raises up a noticable amount in the front on the passenger side, Im not sure if the drivers side was moving or not. I have never noticed this before but maybe i just wasn't paying attention? FYI I have coilovers, I'm not sure that matters or not.
View 5 RepliesI just took in my 2007 RX350 to the Lexus dealer for a "once over" as I recently purchased it, as well as a squeak that was coming from the passenger side wiper blades.
After several replacements (including the high end Rainx and Michelin from Home Depot) the squeak would not go away.
Lexus indicated that the "aftermarket" blades were causing the problem and I needed Lexus blades.
I pushed back as they were about $120 for both, but, much to my surprise no squeak.
Not sure what the OEM blades are and I guess I could have researched it more, but, was at my witts end with the squeak.
Anyway, that fixed the problem.
Is the wiper on the passenger side supposed to be visible above the hood line when in a resting position? It looks as though there is room for it to retract under the hood line, but mine doesn't seem to. Not the end of the world, but I would prefer not to see anything creeping up in the passenger corner when I am looking out. Maybe the wrong blades installed keeping it from retracting?

View 1 RepliesThe far end of my passenger side wiper has been leaving about a 2 inch wide arcing streak lately. I figured I needed new inserts, so I replaced them yesterday. The passenger side wiper is still streaking in the exact same place. I know I put the new inserts in correctly, including installing the little metal clip at the end of the insert. What could be the problem? Could I need a new wiper blade? Do those things go bad?
View 14 RepliesI'm having a weird issue with my passenger side turn signal light. It's more of an annoyance than an actual problem. When I turn on my headlights both yellow turn signal lights also usually turn on but the passenger side one is not turning on anymore. The odd thing is that it still blinks as normal when I engage the turn signal. I replaced the bulb but it did not resolve the issue. I'm thinking it's an electrical short somewhere. It's not the wiring in the headlight housing because I tried an old housing I kept when I replaced my headlights last year and I still had the same issue. What I should check first?

A few weeks back I started to notice my passenger side window started to roll slower than the driver side, not by much but its pretty obvious enough every time you either roll the window down or up.. I made an appointment with a VW service center to have them look at it but they said they can't do anything about it .. Is this true ..? The service guy told me that their would be no way to make the motor of the window go any faster or slower.. However I'm back here again due to some clunking/ticking noise every time I roll my pax side window which develop during their first assessment.. So they ordered me a new window regulator which is getting put in now.. The main and initial problem as to why I made an appointment in the first place was for VW service center to fix my pax side window rolling a bit slowly. Now since they are replacing the regulator of my pax side window I asked the service guy whether this would fix the problem of the window rolling slower compare to the driver side and he bluntly said no.. "we cannot make the motor of the window go slower or faster".. Is their any way to fix the rate of the window to go up or down..?

As I want to use the electrical mirrors to adjust my driver side mirror, passenger side mirror moves too. Is it possible that these faults caused by not coded ECU?
I connected ground wire of my LED to blue and black cable connected to the mirror and ran another wire from unit 10 in 16 pin door connector to live wire from my LED.
