2012 Golf TDI. I'm trying to find the actual part number for the rear, driver's side door panel (door card). I've found some listings for the actual panel but none that provide the part number. It's the one that has the aluminum insert w/o premium audio.

My automatic door lock is making a buzzing noise when it locks the door. It does not make any noise when unlocking. I need to remove the door panel to take a look. How to remove the panel on the drivers door of a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan?

I need the part number for the lower shock bolt that holds the shock, swaybar link, and trailing arm together. It came loose and stripped the threads out of the trailing arm. I think if I can find a nut the right size I can tighten that against the outside of spindle for a temporary fix. I can't seem to find one, or a part number.

View 24 RepliesWhen I open the driver's door, the car does not register that the door is open: the dome light and other interior lights don't come on, the red alert light inside the door itself doesn't come on, and sometimes my alarm will go off when I start the car because it does not know that the door has been activated properly. When the passenger door is open, all the lights function properly. I'm thinking this is a fuse? Hopefully a simple fix?

You'll need a t30 torx driver, trim/pry tools and a pair of needle nose pliers. It's really easy and the parts are pretty durable.
As I pull off the panel you can see that something falls out of the bottom. It's one of the t30 torx screws that gets rotated 90 degrees. It simply pops back into the hole.
I had to wrap it up quickly at the end...a bee flew in the shot and I'm allergic. I think you can see the panic in me even though I'm not actually facing the camera.

When I bought my truck one side of my truck had plastic between the outer sheet metal and inner sheet metal and the other side was missing. It looks like the purpose is to keep mud and road gunk from shooting up into the rear area. Where I can order replacements and what they are called? I need both sides, since the one I did have was cracked and barely hanging on.
View 8 RepliesI finally got rid of my 2.0 and upgraded to the Vr6 5-speed. The other day my driver side rear door just came open. I tried closing it but it just bounce back open. I tried those methods of YouTube to see if that works but still nothing. Now i had to tie my door shut and experience my car not being locked completely. My alarm would go off and everytime i drive my car, i have to deal with that annoying ding the car makes when the doors are open.

View 4 RepliesI guess it's more of an annoyance thing than anything else. When I drive I like to rest my knee on the this area where the window switch is. If I drive over a bump etc...this area squeaks. Is it worth having the dealer fix or will it just return.
View 8 RepliesAwhile back I did get my battery replaced and I did reset my windows so they could be used from the driver side panel. As of now, I can roll down all of them from the driver side except for the passenger side rear (window diagonal from driver). The window does roll down from the door itself so the window isn't broken. The light on the driver window switch is lit green, not blinking. However, the light on the window switch on the passenger door is NOT lit and not blinking either. And yes, I did make sure the window lock was not on.
Could the switch, either passenger or driver door, be bad? Should the battery be disconnected and reconnected??
What is the OEM part number for the side mirror covers?
