View 1 RepliesI just bought a 2011 GTI in Steel Gray Metallic. The first thing I did was remove the front license plate holder.
Doing that revealed 3 large holes (about 8mm), and 2 small screw holes. I'd like to repair this myself or have a shop do it.
Is there a relatively easy way to fix this myself (other than putting the holder back on)?
I need to put a front license plate on my Prius. I notice there are a couple little indents on my front bumper but no holes . Do I need to drill holes or something else here to mount a plate ?
View 13 RepliesI bought the car from dealer, there are now FOUR! holes on the front bumper. I don't understand why they couldn't just use the existing holes to put the license plate holder. Now I'm stuck with these holes and I'm looking for a cheap alternative to fill them. I like the clean look of the front end without the plates and don't want to spend a fortune at a body shop, but I also don't want 4 dots either. What I can do/use?
View 3 RepliesHow do I get rid of license plate holes on my front bumper? I took my front plate off and now I am stuck with annoying holes drilled into my front bumper. Its not noticeable but i know its there so it irritates me.
View 4 Repliesreplacing the entire front bumper.I have removed the front license plate holder, and would like to fill the holes where it was screwed into the front bumper.
View 8 RepliesI'm having the bumper cover replaced on my 350 (stupid mistake on a number of fronts it's starting to look like...) and the indy shop that I chose in my town to do the job (Lexus dealer is 100 miles away and this shop was recommended by the guys that take care of all the Lambos/Ferraris/Porsches etc) told me that they had to drill the holes in the bumper cover to retro fit the sensors. Is this correct?
View 2 RepliesI have took off the screws in below pictures. But the bumper seems still stick on the car body. Any screws are missing? Or other issue?

View 1 RepliesI just received a new bumper / grille assembly to put on my car, my old one got destroyed pretty much, I was wondering if there was a guide of some kind or a diagram that i can use to put this on? I'm a bit short of time so im looking for anything ASAP.
Any diagrams / Visual guides / tips and tricks of the sort, or even some pointers on putting the whole front end assembly on.
I noticed while parked under the sun for a while the front bumper expands, fully exposing the small cut outs or tabs usually hidden under the head lights. I brought it in to get checked out and being told that every clip and screw are in the right place. Later on that day I met with the mechanic, he explained that the bumper is a little different as far as mounting goes compared to other vw's leaving a weak spot.
View 15 RepliesSo I am in the process of removing my front silver grill to paint it and was wondering do I need to drop the whole bumper to get it off??
View 16 RepliesWhat the square piece on the passenger side of the front bumper, in line with the GTI emblem is? The other day I noticed that it appeared to have popped out slightly. I push it back into place, (it snaps into place) but i again noticed today after my commute home it had slightly popped out again. What does this cover and has any experience of it popping out?

View 10 RepliesI plan to remove the front license holder from my car, fill the holes, and paint/clear coat/sand them. Any recommendation as to what to fill the holes with (I'm not going to use a plug.) Exactly what the bumper cover is made of, I can find the right material to bond to it.
View 2 RepliesI need to mount a plate on front bumper and there are dimples for 2 holes. Do I just use self tapping screws here as I've read you don't need a mounting frame?
View 3 RepliesI recently purchased a used 2010 Prius. I noticed that there are two holes on the floor in front of the passenger seat.
View 4 RepliesMy dad was changing his plugs today (2000 passat 1.8t) and he found some oil down in the holes for the plugs on the front two cylinders (closest to the front of the car) and also on the plugs themselves, and needless to say hes a little concerned. he doesn't think there should be any there. headgasket?? He has 105k miles...
View 5 RepliesI took the car into the dealership to check an odd noise that comes from the front of the car every time I pass over speed bump or road holes.
They say I have to replace the steering rack. Can it be fixed or have to be changed anyway?
