View 3 RepliesWhen I use the high beams on my GTI with LP, the pattern goes very high with an oval/round top. The road is lit up fine, but I've never seen a pattern go up so high. Is this normal or a problem.
View 15 RepliesLast week my wife's battery in her 03 Trailblazer was dead in the morning. I jumped it and it seemed fine all day. That night I tried to start it and it was dead again so I replaced the battery. The next day, she looked out at the parking lot at work and her lights were on after it sat for a while. She could not turn off the headlights no matter what. She said she heard a squealing noise under the hood.
I could not duplicate it when I got home, so I replaced what I think was the lowbeam relay. Later that night I looked, and her headlights were on. I got under the hood and the highbeam relay was squealing. I removed it and the lights went out. I replaced the relay with a new one, but the relay immediately squealed and the lights went on. I have the relay out now and the problem is gone, but we have no highbeams.
What is causing the relay to squeal and turn on the highbeams?
How do you activate the parking lights with the blinker/high beam stalk. It has the P....
View 7 RepliesI have a 2010 prius. I bought the car used a month ago. at the time of purchase both parking lights were on when my headlight is turned on. Now it won't turn on unless I turn on my high beam. Should I take it to Toyota dealer and have them take a look at it. It is certified preowned.

View 6 RepliesI have an '06 Camry, which has lost all power functionality. The follow items just stopped working
1. Key fob -- keyless entry and alarm stopped working
2. high beam doesn't come on when headlight is on. However, when headlight is off, it comes on--go figure
3. Power door lock also does not work, even from driver side door. Have to lock all doors manually
4. Interior lights don't come on when door is open.
My 1996 jeep cherokee is having a problem with the lights when I pull the plunger switch my dashboard blinker lights and high beam light come on but none of my outside lights come on besides my tail lights.

View 6 Replies2011 f350 king ranch... I have DRL, turn signals and tail lights. I have checked all fuses ( don't know if there's a relay) under hood and in cab. Still do not have any headlights, high or low beam nor do I have any fog Lights.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2001 f250 with factory fog lights. ive been researching to see if I can make my fog lights turn on with the high beams without pulling them out. My broke and cant pull it or it comes off, but will still work to turn head lights off and on. How to make them come on with the high beams?
View 14 RepliesSo I recently bought a 1997 7.3l F250. It is in fairly good condition, but it has some problems with the lights working. The turn signals and hazards all work, as do the tail lights and headlights. However, when I hit the high beam switch, the headlights cut off entirely. Also, the brake lights do not work at all. Ive checked the bulbs and since they all work Im not sure what the issue is.
View 3 RepliesAll you need to do is pull out the head lite switch find the solid brown wire that is the running lights wire now find the yellow wire this is fog lights wire (these wires are on the gray plug ) you need a 3" piece of wire and 2 blue wire connectors it slips over the wires no cutting any wires then slide wire in the other end of the blue connector after you jump them your fog lights will come on with running lights and will not go off with high beams...
View 4 RepliesMy car is fully stock, with all options available to me (cold weather package not available here). The low-beam triple-LED headlights are aimed way too low compared to all my previous cars, and where they should be. BUT high-beam is aimed properly. So if I adjust the low-beams up, my high-beams might end up lighting up the trees, not the road.
If adjust the headlights up on a fully stock car (not lowered at the front)? Are the high beams still lighting up the road fine? And if you can be specific as the number of turns on the screwdriver, it'd be good too to have an initial adjustment reference.
This morning a dash light informed me a headlight bulb was out. It was my DTR light on the passenger side.
I purchased Sylvania H7 high intensity, installed it and it failed to work properly. Daytime light on only drivers side works.
High Beam on , both lights works.
I checked my manual and it said to check fuse in the 5 slot on the driver side dash/door panel and there actually is no fuse in there. I checked the driver side and there was no fuse there either.
I replaced my driver side bulb last year and it took 5 mins....i am already 4 hours into this!
I drive a 96 Subaru Legacy. What does it mean when one of the high beams is dimmer (less light output) than the low beam? I am using a brand-new bulb. It's not an adjustment issue because I was looking at the bulb when it was outside of the housing and it clearly gets dimmer when you switch to brights. However, they are equally bright when on low-beam, so I don't think its just a crossed wire.
View 2 RepliesI replaced the low beam and high beam on my Subaru, now the low beam is very dim and the high beam doesn't work. Careful not to touch the bulb.
View 3 RepliesI have been trying to sort this issue for a while now to no avail. I have had my MKV .:R since February and this problem has existed since I bought it. If the headlight switch is in the "off" position, my lights are off. That is good.
So far, whenever the switch is switched to "auto," the light are ALWAYS on. That doesn't bother me at all, but it seems wrong. Obviously, when it is in the "on: position, they're also on.
Now the problem I have encountered is whenever the lights are on (ie not in the "off" position) the driver's side light is always on the "high" position, even if my brights are not flicked on. The passenger light switches from low to high according to whether I have the brights flicked on or off.
I have a 2012 Hyundai Accent GLS and recently noticed that my low beam only works in the high beam setting and the high beam doesn't work.
View 10 RepliesI have 2000 golf with a gli front end. Recently just did the swap and now I'm having issues with one blinker and one high beam not working. The running lights work on both sides. The headlights work on both sides. I checked the bulbs and they were good. I check for power it was all good. I checked the fuses and they were fine.
View 7 RepliesI installed a headlight kit from VW tuning a while back d2s with 6k bulbs I believe.
The headlights work but my high beam indicator is stuck on. I know this is a common problem but for the life of me I can't figure out how to fix it. If I switch back and forth with the stick on the column it does nothing. Just stays on high beams. I've just kind of dealt with it for a while.
