View 4 RepliesAll of my exterior lights will not turn on and my fan on my A/C heat stopped working. I feel like it may be a fuse issue but the fact that they stopped working earlier then suddenly came back on, then went back off again within the course of 4 hours has me worried.
View 9 RepliesOur 2015 Prius 4 with 8,900 miles just suddenly stopped chirping and turning the lights off upon locking. The courtesy lights also no longer work (the lights worked last night as I approached the car but not tonight. The locking chirp/beep worked 3 hours ago but not now. Also headlights no longer go out after double clicking lock on either of the 2 fob.)

View 6 RepliesI have a 2008 Camry 4 LE. My turn blinkers and reverse lights have stopped working and i'm 90% its a bad relay. I have checked all fuses and they are good. I just have a problem locating the relay. I think i saw it right above the fuse box under the dash in the driver side but i'm not 100% sure.

2008 Accent GLS 66,000 miles
All five clearance lights on my cab stopped working, and I can't figure out why. I've read all the threads, but few show the wiring, and are more useful for installing than troubleshooting. I think I have the Ford SKU'd ones, not the Recons, but I can't say for sure. Here's what one of them looks like:
My questions:
1) How do you remove the bulb from the rubber mount? Just pulling it out didn't work.
2) Is there a fuse somewhere (in the harness, perhaps?) that protects these things? All my overhead console functions and lighting work fine.
3) Is their only connection to the vehicle wiring at the harness connector behind the passenger kick panel? I checked it, and it is well connected.
4) Is there a connection on the headlight switch? I've not checked there.
I bought this vehicle 14 years ago and they were already installed, and have worked perfectly since then. I hate stuff that doesn't work...
My 1991 240 always had 2 working back up lights. After one of two garage visits recently (with them not working on my lighting), one of the two stopped working.
The last visit (a different garage) I just made with this time the mechanics working on a tail light issue as well as other stuff now has me with the 2nd back up light not working. Since one mechanic lost me the use of one and another mechanic lost me the use of the other.
How I can troubleshoot this and get one or both "back" on my own?
While replacing my rear cargo light, I seemed to have tripped a fuse and suddenly, cargo light + 4 door lights + dome lights stopped working.
Looked at the label on the fuse box cover, it's not obvious which fuse governs these, so I ended up testing ALL of the fuses (PITA), which are all good (used voltmeter to do the job). Everything else on the car works, power windows/locks for each door..
I took the car in for 10,000 service. Drove it home and discovered I lost headlights, taillights and instrument lights. Checked interior driver side fuse box and all are good.
View 1 RepliesToday I was informed by a passing motorist that my brake lights had stopped working. Upon checking, they were right. The lights do not come on at all when the brake is pushed, including the center one. When my headlights are on thought, they do light up, just do not brighten when the brakes are hit.
View 16 RepliesI installed my dome light, map light, and rear license plate LEDs with no problem a couple of months ago. When my LEDs for the vanity lights came in today, I immediately went to install them. The first one on the driver's side was installed without a hitch, but after I installed the second one on the passenger side, none of the interior lights worked. The only difference in installation I can think of is that I disconnected the light on the passenger side as opposed to keeping it plugged in on the driver's side.
View 6 RepliesTail and dash lights would go out unexpectedly, so I would turn light switch off and then back on and they would work. After about a week they stopped working all together...I checked all fuses related to the lights and dash as well as bulbs.
View 5 RepliesI have an '07 Hyundai Sonata (4 cylinder) with the sunroof and XM. Yesterday, someone nearly hit me with their car and told me that my brake lights stopped working. I went home and tested it out and it doesn't seem to work at all. (The third brake light died out a week ago). I checked fuses and they seemed to be okay, tried replacing them with spare ones and still doesn't work (My old rover always had fuse problems). Bulbs look fine and they're definitely not burned out.

View 6 RepliesI replaced all the interior halogen lights, parking lights and license plate lights with cool white LEDs. They look good and all was fine until the last step while installing the license plate lights. I plugged one side then turn the light switch on to verify the polarity to see if bulb would come on which it did. Same process for the second license plate light but this time around after turning on the light switch to see if it was plugged in right, I noticed the brake lights didn't come on. So I flipped the switch around a few times and nothing. Now the DRLs do not come on either as well as the parking lights. The only lights that work now are the head lights and interior lights. What happened how do I fix???

View 3 RepliesI have an '06 Camry, which has lost all power functionality. The follow items just stopped working
1. Key fob -- keyless entry and alarm stopped working
2. high beam doesn't come on when headlight is on. However, when headlight is off, it comes on--go figure
3. Power door lock also does not work, even from driver side door. Have to lock all doors manually
4. Interior lights don't come on when door is open.
The last week or so i been having problems when I go to start my car. The car wont turn over unless the battery is boosted. Seems pretty straight forward I know, DEAD BATTERY..but I have tried 2 batteries, one I know for sure is good. And again same things. Recently my interior lights stopped working. I read that is could be the courtesy control module, could this also be causing the battery to be drained? It only happens over night, when I go to school and its parked for 7-8 hours its fine, but over night it dies.
