Golf/GTI VI :: Blinking Icon On The Odometer Like TPMS Light

I just got my car back from the dealer last night (the 4th time it's been in for service in under three months of ownership, pathetic). When I turned the car on this morning I got a blinking icon on the odometer. The icon is the same as the low tire pressure icon except the MFD doesn't show air pressure is low and the icon is flashing for the first minute or so. I checked out the tires anyway. When I tried to unscrew the valve cover the metal piece came right off leaving the inner rubber portion stuck over the valve stem. This was the same scenario for 3 of my 4 wheels. I'm assuming one of the fools from the service department put a death grip on the caps after refilling the tires (part of the "full circle service, tires/tpms had nothing to do with why my car was in). My question is, why this light is on? The pressure isn't low and there is nothing wrong with the way it drives. I'm stumped and don't want to have to bring my car back in. [IMG][URL]....

It's the same every time. forty minutes into a drive and the TPMS light starts blinking. It blinks for about three minutes and then goes solid. After two minutes or so the light goes off completely. Every time I check, my tire pressure is perfect. I carry a good analog gauge with me and monitor pressure obsessively.

My 2005 STX 4x4 was running fine until yesterday, then on my way home I lost all forward power. The odometer displayed TRANS FAULT and the O/D OFF light was blinking. Limped home.... Today I checked the fluid level and it was a little high, so I ciphoned some out. I read a lot of posts about the same problem which lead me to my local autozone to have them put a code reader on it. Unlike all of the other posts, NO codes came up.
According to the scanner, my truck is fine. I was hoping to get some kind of "P" code to target the problem, but no such luck. I checked all the fuses and they are fine. What should I do now? I don't really want to take it to the dealer, fearing that they will automatically say I need a new tranny without checking everything else first.

I did the blue wire cut-mod 20 minutes ago. I had a consistent blinking TPMS light. I cut the correct, blue, wire and grounded to a stud behind the kick panel. The light is now steadily lit. Was I supposed to disconnect the battery first?

I have an Avalon 2009 with the TMPS indicator blinking for 30 seconds when the car is started and won't go off.
I think this might indicate an issue with the sensor? How do I know which one and how to replace it?
Also, I cannot release the trunk from the button in the car (by my knee) or the trunk release button from the remote.
Does the TMPS light blinking and staying on has anything to do with that?
In the past, when I had a rear signal bulb went out, I couldn't scroll down my window either. Once I replaced it, I was able to.
I wonder if the trunk being locked from automatic release methods is the result of the TMPS light being on.

About four days ago my TPMS warning light started blinking. Same tires and sensors have been on there for quite some time. The service book says to take it to the dealer, but I instead stopped by Discount Tire (where I purchased the tires) to see if they could look and figure out which sensor was acting up.
When he ran his sensor, none of my four sensors showed up as broadcasting at all! Now I know that all four of my sensors did not just randomly go out at the same time.

I got into my sc430 2002 tonight and noticed that the little circle with triangle inside, that represents the car on the nav screen is blinking. I could swear that it is usually steady. Need to confirm, it's normally steady or blinking!

Yesterday while i was driving home out of the blue, I was in the city making a stop and suddenly everything in my odometer start blinking including gas level (gas was halfway), also big red triangle turns on and some other lights that I couldn't see cuz the car stop accelerate so i just make to pull over and set the Parking then I turn off the car to try turn it on again and see if everything clear out but didn't turn on anymore couldn't even get it in neutral to move it...
I press START button ones and screen turns on and even able to get into info system to check that my aux12v battery was ok. BUT when press the START button twice with or without stop pedal all energy shut off, screen dies and odometer just try to blink quickly before die not even able to see if any other light turns on like the engine one or big triangle.
AND WORSE part is that i can pull anything out of my Scanner because it needs to be in 2 STARTBUTTON pressed mode in order for my scanner to connect with my Prius.

2012 Santy V6 GLS Stock 17"
Lately in an intermittent fashion my TPMS indicator light will blink when I first start the car. It goes away within a minute of driving (might even go away if I just idle but I am always in a rush so I don't know...). At first I thought perhaps it was the cold weather but it happens even on warm days. I've checked all the pressures all around and they are good (not even borderline).
In the manual it says a malfunction is when the light blinks and then stays on. What would blinking then non persistent light mean? Communication issues?

Having issues with TPMS lights not going off? I've checked my tires 3 different times on 2 different gauges and I have to correct PSI in all 4 but the damn light wont turn off. It's driving me NUTS!

Today riding to work... the little TPMS light (looks like a tire with and ! in the middle) came on - Started blinking for a minute then went solid. so I pulled off the highway and checked my tire pressure.. all tires were 31 or above.. (S/B 33)
Topped off all tires w/ air and went back on the road - light didn't go out... then on the way home, it went off... and it wasn't the cold.. It was a 'balmy' 20 this morning...
Owner's manual says it was the TPMS system malfunctioning OR interference from outside... 2012 Sonata GLS ....

The other night I was driving home and my tps light came on, Wasn't sure if it fluctuated because of the weather. So I waited until the morning, checked the light and it was still on. I checked the pressure of the tires (stock) and they were all around 36, I checked the door panel and it said they should be 41. I filled them up to 41, however the light did not go off. I held the reset button and it went off and hasn't come on. It didn't blink when it came on. It popped on and was solid.

I recently swapped wheels on my girlfriends 2010 golf and the tpms light came on. I've searched and know i will need a Vagcom and tire pressure reset button to set the system like my new 2012. I'm thinking of just getting my own Vagcom as we now have two newer cars and it seems like every part of the car has a sensor! Looking at the Ross-tech website I'm a little confused as to buy and where to get it.

Switched my wheels at Discount Tires/America's Tires and for some reason my TPMS warning light won't go away. It's been more than 24hrs and I've driven over 100 miles, even put the tires to 42psi but still the warning light won't go away. The shop did rebuilt the TPMS due to the wheel change but it's nothing out of the ordinary so I am not sure what's going on here.
