Golf/GTI VI :: 2012 - Code P0480 Bad ECU?

Car is a 2012 GTI that was stage 1 tuned about a year ago. Car has a soft P0480 code and the radiator fans come on a few seconds after the ignition is started and stay on the entire time. They stay on for about 10min after parking the car on a cold day.
All things I have read point towards the lid of the ECU being re-installed incorrectly. This is from reading other posts where tuners have commented that this is 100% attributable to human error and not software error.

Yesterday i took 300 miles trip to VA and my engine light when on. turn out it was p0480 code. I had check online and find out it was a cooling fan malfunction. I want to know any1 else have the same problem? also is this DIY problem? or should i bring it to the stealership?

Now I have an airbag lamp that stays on, gonna have to take it in for this one. Getting funny DTC's also:
P0480 Cooling fan 1 ???? seems bogus to me!
B0001 Cannot find a description, but seems to be a BCM Code, may be attached to lamp?

Got a code p0087 on my 2012 accent (manual). The car won't go over 60 mph and has trouble going over 3,000 rpm. Car won't turn on unless I pump the gas for several seconds.

Headlight switch failure. '12 SEL with factory HID. While in the "Auto" mode during broad daylight, headlights will start to flash on and off. VAGCOM revealed a fault code to the headlight switch. Dealer has already replaced it once and it started again within a few days.

My accent currently has just under 17k and about two months ago displayed a cel. I plugged in my innova 3100 code scanner and it displayed p0441. saying it was incorrect purge flow. My question is.. is this covered under the factory warranty. I'm on a very tight budget and I'm trying to find out before going in and finding out. I've owned Hyundai's since 2002 and so far have never paid for an out of pocket repair. But it doesn't hurt to check ahead.. And I've already gotten the standard "it's your gas cap". Ok I'd buy that if it was 10yrs old but it's only a yr and a half old. besides it only goes half a turn then clicks. so it kind of either seals or it doesn't.

I got a 2012 Hyundai Accent SE manual 112000 mostly highway miles. For a month now I am getting the MIL on and P2191 code (System too lean at higher load bank1) after erasing the code it appeared again in 3-4 days. I replaced air filter check all valves and vacuum in air flow, changed to premium gas. Pipe that connected to the valve from EVAP system looks not damaged and valve works as intended. While changing spark plugs I noticed that all of them were quite charred. I am thinking to replace both O2 up/down stream sensors. Which not OEM sensors would be the best match for my Accent?

I love my car 2012 Hyundai Accent GLS but once it hit 60K miles, the engine light came on and it has been eating gas. I get up to 160 miles per tank now. My MP fluctuates from 12-25 MPG. I literally watch it jump when I fill up the car, then a few miles later, it drops again. Code P2196 always comes up. (stuck rich)
Dealer advised me to do fuel system flush.
Dealer replaced upstream o2 Sensor
Dealer replaced Check Valve
New Spark Plugs last Fall due to hearing really loud spark knocking... and also re-gapped last week. Now I can hear them slightly again.
Engine light just came back on after almost 200 miles.
Reading some other threads- apparently this seems to be a known issue for my car.
I am wondering if I should try replacing the downstream o2 sensor.... OR consider trading my car.

I just bought a set of 2013 20" rims for my 2012 F-250. I can't seem to get the tire fault light to go off. I've gone through the "learn" process but it won't read them. Are the TPMS not the same between years?

The new to me 2012 dually has lost its keyless entry code card. I know on the 08-10 models you could look up behind the radio to see the code. Looking for physical location on the 6.7 family?

Yesterday while driving on the freeway in EV mode, my PIP (one of the first delivered to the states) flashed the "Check Hybrid System - Stop the vehicle in a safe place" message. I was near my house so I just went home. My SG2 showed code P0C3E, which is apparently an inverter over temperature code.
Took it to the dealer this morning and they just informed me that the car needs a new inverter, but no other details… "internal fault" is what he said.
While googling, i found this recall notice:
Green Car Congress: Toyota recalling about 701,000 Gen 3 Prius vehicles in US over software issue in inverter assembly
that doesn't talk specifically about the PIP and implies that it is a software problem, but goes on to say if the car is in a fault condition the inverter will be replaced. of course, it's possible that a software problem leads to hardware damage.

I have a 2012 6.7 with a Spartan tuner. Threw this code a few months ago. Reset everything, trucks runs great, no issues. Never had this code come up again. I've looked it up and it says, "Internal Control Module Torque Performance". I'm just not sure what this means.

I have a 2012 Golf tdi. Got a cel after a 300 mile highway trip.
Got it scanned by dealer, came out to be p2413. Some EGR malfunction. According to service ticket, all vw did was reset my ECM. Does that sound accurate? Car has 16k miles.
Service rep mentioned that it could have something to do with my carbonio intake. True? Or BS?
So far, 100 miles later, no cel and car seems to be running fine.
Just curious if it actually could have something to do with the carbonio, or if he was just busting my balls.

I just had the APR Stage 3 GTX kit installed on my golf R about 3 weeks ago. Was running great until a few days ago and was making around 28 ish lbs of boost. I started having problems with the stalling the car in first gear a few days ago. It has a moment of hesitation in 1st gear when you hit the accelerator and my vacuum at idle fluctuates a bit and is reading about 20 on my PODI gauge when it use to be around 23-24. Vacuum drops to around 18 with air conditioner on.
I cleaned my intake today and re-oiled it...was extremely dirty. no change in the idle and now the car makes a max of about 12 lbs of boost. I believe it was likely the same before I changed the filter I don't see any visible vacuum leak and the engine runs smooth. it doesn't have and DTC codes present. When at idle and I take the oil cap off it idles rough. Just a slightly rough idle in first and the car won't make more than 12 lbs of boost in any gear in any rpm situation.

My 2012 2 door gti's B pillars are very loose. for example, if i reach for the seatbelt and hit them they move alot but they dont come off. On my sisters jetta and my mom's GLI they are very stiff. Are they supposed to be like that?
