Golf/GTI VI :: 2010 TDI DSG - Vibrating Brake Pedal?

2010 TDI DSG 25k miles. Something I just noticed when I was coming off cruise control I went to cancel cruise by stepping on the brake pedal and noticed it vibrating quite a bit (kind of tickled). I tried experimenting with it on the way to work the next day. Seems to happen when the car is under power not coasting. Tires are at 38psi no vibration through the steering wheel or seat, car tracks straight.

My previous two cars were Subaru's WRX and Legacy GT and boxer motors shake a lot but I never noticed a vibration. This could have been happening with the Golf for a while and I just noticed now. I don't think it's the rotors as I was feeling around under the brake pedal with my left foot while accelerating with my right and definitely vibrating. I brought it to the dealer and they replaced the brake pedal carrier bearing/pin and it's a little better but still vibrating. Is this normal?

Golf VI R :: Clutch And Brake Pedal Pulsing After Swapping Of Full Brake Fluid To RBF660?

I swapped my fluid and ever since I did that my clutch and brake pedal are pulsing/vibrating only when I start the car. It almost feels like ABS pulsing but on both pedals and the car is obviously stationary.

I followed the procedure from the manual and did all 4 corners and slave.

Brakes work fine/clutch is fine...

I must have done something to upset the BRAKE system?

Golf/GTI VI :: Brake Pedal Seems Too Soft / Brake Feel Isn't Linear

I own a stock 2010 golf with 22k miles on it. There seems to be a problem with brake feel. Brake pedal feels way too soft and there is way too much pedal travel for brakes to engage. Car won't start decelerating until pedal is pushed nearly 1/2 of its total travel length. However there seems no problem with stopping the car. On hard braking car stops well (with ABS). Another problem is brake feel isn't linear.

Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Brake Pedal Is Low And Vague

The brake pedal felt much lower or closer to the floor than normal right after I leased this car.

when I'm driving, when I first press the brake pedal, it seems too low and somewhat vague, maybe squishy would be a better term. The stopping pressure always seems like it varies as the speed reduces and I come to a stop. If I pump the brakes once, the pedal comes up to what seems like normal to me, and the stopping also feels normal.

I have a question about the bleeding the brake? When I washed my E, I usually spray the wheel and the brake part. I don't know it is a good idea or not. Recently, I felt like I have to step further on the brake pedal to apply the brake.

The force is there and Brake assist is still in effect if I step fast enough. I just felt like the brake pedal is spongy. My E is on 36k right now. Do you think wash the wheel often will cause the problem to brake line?

I have confirmed that my Gf's Elantra is easy and ease to brake than mine. At the mean time, her brake fluid is darker than mine. My brake fluid is full and clear. Maybe I should not wash the wheel more often. Or maybe I get OCD too much?

Prius (2010-12) :: No Vacuum Sound In Brake Pedal

ABS, Traction, Brake (red & yellow) bulbs in.

ABS not working

Reduced brake efficiency

Heated brake disks

Regeneration charge indication doesn't go to left side much. But slightly charges battery.

ABS fuses ok in engine room

No vacuum sound in brake pedal

But faster brake actuator sound (every 5sec stop 2sec sound) on stopped ready mode in P. Engine not running.

Bit history;

I had brake light fuse blown. But not knowing was pressing brake pedal hard to start / goto ready mode as display said. So after replacing fuse, had the traction bulb on. After it was reset. Everything was fine. Apart from increased vacuum sound in brake pedal.

About 9/10 times when I step on my brake pedal (speed has not made a difference) I can hear and feel a hard knock under my car by my resting left foot. Started a few weeks ago. Haven't had work done to my brakes since May 2015 so I am thinking it is unrelated. What the issue might be?

My friend got her front brakes and rotors replaced a few days ago and now the brake pedal is vibrating at various times. It happens when slowing down and at a complete stop. Sounds like the ABS is kicking in to me, BUT is also does it sometimes when driving at low speeds (under 40mph) without pressing the brake pedal. No loud clicking noises, just a quick steady vibration felt at the brake pedal/flooboard.

The service was not done at Hyundai dealership. She is out of town at the moment so we haven't had a chance to take it to the shop yet. She called, they played dumb apparently. I don't know enough about Hyundais to diagnose.

I purchased a new 2016 Elantra about a month ago. I like the car although the driving position took a little bit of getting used too. Anyways, after 2000 miles my ankle has begun to hurt due to the height difference between the gas and brake. Is there any way to lower the brake closer to the floor to make them a bit more even?

I had a problem with my brakes about 4 months ago. They were making a barking noise when I stepped on the brake pedal. The dealer bled the brakes and reflashed software. Now the problem is back and they say I probably new a new brake actuator. It should be covered by the extended warranty. I hope a new actuator will fix this. I like everything else about the car. I am looking to buy a 2012 Prius and I test drove it. Everything seems ok except each time I press the brake pedal there is a swoosh noise its as if air is being released from somewhere and I can easily hear it. Lately the brake pedal is really hard to push down after its been sitting for an extended period. Once its started, all is fine. I recently purchased a new (to me) 2010 prius and I've been noticing that sometimes, but not always, I hear a fairly loud noise when lifting my foot off the brake pedal. It sounds like a squeak or squeal, and I want to say I can almost feel a tiny bit of resistance in the pedal when it happens though that could be in my head. The noise does NOT occur when pushing down on the pedal (only when lifting), and it seems to only occur when the car is stopped.
