Gmc - Yukon :: 2004 - Signaling Right High Beams Come On?
Aug 1, 2013
I have a 2004 GMC Yukon SLT, 2WD. At night, when I signal right, my high beams come on. After making the right turn, my signal disengages and the high beams return to low. Now I only make left turns at night.

My truck only has low beams. When you move the stalk on the colum backwords it changes nothing, when you move it forwards the low beams go out but the high beams do not come on.

I have checked fuse 46 and 47, and installed new headlight bulbs. I have high beams, but no low beams. I have searched this topic but no one has the same prob it seems. My headlight switch has broken. Could it be the headlight switch?
In my manual, it says the 2002 has a fuse panel behind the glove box. I took glove box out but it doesn't look like a fuse panel.

I recently installed new halo HID headlights in my 2003 f150 with HID bulbs and ballast the passenger side worked and the drivers side didn't nth lights wired exactly the same. I switched everything from the passenger to the drivers side still nothing I switched everything back to passenger side and they don't work now. I tired regular bulbs in the passenger side an it worked then on the drivers side and it worked for a split second and went out and then I retried t on the passenger side and it worked for a split second and went out a now neither are working. I checked all the fuses and their good. What the problem could be?

After spending weeks ordering parts and doing research on this issue all my attempts have not solved the issue. To reiterate the issue, the high beams work, and the low beams do not. Thus far I have attempted the following without the desired result-
1. Changed the headlights out just in case both bulbs burnt at once.
2. Changed the blinker stalk in hopes of a faulty switch.
3. Changed the headlight switch to a brand new OEM Euro style switch.
4. Checked all fuses (did this first actually).

The other night on my way home, I flipped on the high beams and the low beams didn't shut off. Flash to pass still works, and pushing in on the end of the stem turns the low beams off as well.
Having the column switch apart, is it possible this could be fixed without having to pull the steering wheel? Or, am I better off just spending the hundred dollars of so and putting in a new part?

It ford related but I just bought a used car that has hid low beams and when you turn on high beams there is no light at all. The blue light on dash comes on and head lights go off. I just got this car 2 days ago and haven't really looked into it.

I have installed 3 Hella Luminator HID. I am having trouble connecting them to the hi beams. I've had a friend install them and for some reason, they just won't come on together with the hi beams. I have to turn them on with a separate button which is not very practical while driving.
Is there an electric schematic I can download or something else?

Driver side low beam was burnt out. I replaced the bulb with a new one then no low beams would work, high beams work. Turning on manual switch and I checked fuse 7 & 10 fuses which were okay still no lights.
Could it be the low beam relay? The passenger side was working. Do they only come on when it is dark enough as I can't remember if they are running lights and worked in daylight?

I know the instructions are somewhere, but I am having trouble figuring out how to change the headlamp bulbs (high & low beams) on the easy side-driver side. Do I need to loosen the headlamp assembly or can I just go into the headlamp assembly without removing it?

What steps are needed to modify a 2005 RX 330's fog lights to stay on with the high beams? I found the info on the web & did this modification to my 2010 Tundra but can not find any info pertaining to how to mod an RX.

Any way to run fogs and high beams same time?

I'm talking about the flash to pass feature, not turn signals.

My high beams went out a few months ago on my 2008 prius. They told me it was the relay. I just replaced it today with a relay from advanced auto parts. My highs work now. But as of 2 hours ago I noticed my lows are no longer coming on. A few days ago I picked up the car after having aftermarket hids put in. The lows were working then highs still no. A few weeks ago I had some other relays replaced and they told me the cap was off and water got in it.
So could it be that my low relays have gone bad now too. It seems weird right when I fix my highs my lows stop working. If its possible I want to try a new relay to see if that fixes it. But I need the part number and location in the relay box. I can post a picture of the inside of my relay box, can't point to which one it is. I am sure it even has the part number on it.

Have a 2002 Yukon 5.3 ltr engine (155K miles) that likes to cut off at highway speeds. Usually happens after 4 or 5 hours of running at 70 to 80 mph. Strangely if I set the cruise control and do the same speeds, nothing... When it happens I end up coasting to the side at the roadway and sitting there for 15 or 20 minutes and it'll start right up and usually go the rest of the way. I've talked to a couple repair shops and they have checked service bulletins and have never been able to find anything. Will be driving to Connecticut for the 4th and not looking forward to being on 95 with the possibility of this happening again.

Didn't find anything on this, but I've noticed that on my GTI the Fog Lights stay on when the High Beams are turned on. Which I find unusual since no other car I've ever owned did this (Including my '12 TDI), and as far as I understood, in the US (At least here in NY), it was actually illegal to have them both on at the same time. ?

I have a b6 Passat and the high beams are not working. I am going to be installing HIDS in the next week or so so I located a vag com disabled the drls and enabled Xenon without the shutter. now no high beams. they will only work with the car off and pull back the switch instead of pushing it forward.. I'm sure there are ppl on here with HIDs and there high beams working on a b6.
