I have no difficulty adding stations to the radio pre-select menu but how do you delete all those annoying stations that have been pre-selected and take up space? I'm getting frustrated having to thumb through all the junk just to get to the setting I like.
View 1 RepliesI have a new 2013 prius Three and lately have been having difficulty with my radio.Within the past week every time I plug my iPhone in to listen to my iPod my controls on my steering wheel work in a weird way.
For example if I am listening to a playlist on my iPhone and want to skip to the next song, when I hit the steering wheel control to do that the radio shows the iPod icon and spins and then just picks a random song from my iTunes library. This also happens when I am listening to pandora through my iPhone. If I hit the next button it stops pandora and switches to my iTunes library even if it isn't open.
Should I be concerned that I have something wrong with my radio. Everything as far as entune works fine. I haven't used navigation in a few weeks so I am not sure of that as of right now.
I just got my Prius Four, not IV, 2013 and the satellite radio stations are already preset. How do I delete theirs, then save my own?
View 4 RepliesIn June my Grandfather picked up a used 2010 Prius (not exactly sure what trim package it is? I think it's IV? It has heated front seats, voice activation, bluetooth, navigation, XM radio, NO sunroof though)
He honestly doesn't like the car that much, I don't think he knew about the "PWR" button that would make the gas pedal behave more like a standard throttle, but he is away on a trip right now so I am borrowing the car. I love it, and I'm going to show him the "PWR" mode when he gets back and see if that changes his opinion of the car.
ANYWAY I noticed when driving it that pressing the MAP button doesn't actually make the map display and instead changes the radio station? I did some searching and found that this may actually be a known flaw although from my searching it doesn't look like Toyota has addressed this?
I'm guessing the car is probably out of the original manufacturers warranty? Not sure if there might have been some sort of warranty from when he purchased the car pre-owned? I definitely plan to talk to him about this when he gets back because it is very annoying to not be able to switch back to the map easily. The only ways I have figured out to work around this is use the voice activation and say "show map" or to press the "DEST" button, choose a destination, and then delete that destination and then it shows the map.
I have not been able to locate where this is on the 2012's. Not looking for how to access the menu where you hold down the Setup button & tun your lights on & off a few times.
I am looking for the menu that used to allow users to be able to Override the navigation. I have had a ton of other navigation, both factory & aftermarket, & don't like having to stop to enter a destination.
How to access this menu & whether or not it still allows for the Override option that it once did?
Quick question, how does one delete navigation history, i.e., all, on the navi system?

View 4 RepliesJust got my 06 Prius. The screen shows that Audio Off. The radio doesn't want to turn on. What could be the issue. 06 Prius with nav, Bluetooth, JBL etc. Everything else seem to work except the radio. Fuse perhaps?

I thought it was San Diego but last week, I drove to Orange County and listened to 102.7 which should have strong signal and HD radio was still going in and out.

View 2 RepliesI have an '08 prius, no Nav or JBL, with a little over 50k miles on it. My radio and MFD have recently stopped working. The MFD screen is off and unresponsive. The buttons around the MFD are lit, but pressing them doesn't do anything. Same for the radio, it's off and won't turn on - the buttons are lit and pressing them does nothing (except the button to eject the CD works). The steering wheel controls for the radio have no effect either.

I crank it to 25, and can watch it go up and up. It doesn't always happen, but all of a sudden I'll find it's very loud and check the setting and it's u past 30.
My 3 months is up and I don't want XM. Any way to get rid of the icon so that the mode button doesn't cycle to it?
View 3 RepliesI recently purchased a Prius. I had Sirius set me up with a trial membership and send a signal a number of time to my radio, but it keeps resetting to zero. I've tried turning the radio on off--the "tech support" at Sirius told to take car to an audio shop to check it. I frankly do not think it could be a problem with the radio--everything works on all other channels and channel 1 works with the previews. I don't know what an audio person could possibly do--I think the issue has to be with Sirius.
View 2 RepliesMy Sat radio in my PIP cuts out in a lot of places. My wifes car doesn't do this in the same spots. Is this a warranty issue or does the Sat radio have a smaller internal memory then most cars and can't handle trees, small hills, etc.
View 16 RepliesI have been noticing a more frequent failure in my XM radio. I sucked up the extra $2000 for the GPS and use the XM radio every day, but lately, the radio cuts in and out or does not come on at all. I have to restart the car and then it will come back. The FM and AM don't fail but the XM is failing more and more frequently. My problem is it will be very hard to recreate since it only does it every once in a while.

Just started driving a 2007. I get a loud hum when listening to XM radio on a Delphi Roady XM receiver. Audio out is plugged into the iphone jack. How can the hum/static be fixed?
View 5 RepliesI have a Prius v five ATP, my wife asked if its possible to leave the screen set to the radio. I haven't figured how to do this yet. I usually have the trip info displayed, but if I hit the radio button it brings up the usual screen displaying the radio info for a minute or so (or however much time that she's changing the stations) but then switches back to the previous screen.
Is there a way to set the radio as a default so it doesn't switch back to the previous screen? Or use the split screen function for this?
