My 2010 had a small compass to show north all the time in the upper left corner. When I add the compass on my 2016 it splits the screen which is a real mess.
View 4 RepliesSince having the latest entune update at the dealer, my GPS screen now automatically dims too much when the ambient light is lower in the evening. Tried messing around with the contrast and brightness controls and the rotary dimmer control on the left side of the dash.
Could not get the brightness to be like it was before the update. Street names are pretty much illegible at night. If I raise the brightness at night to the point where I can read the street names, the entire screen is super bright on the eyes.
Took the car to the dealer and they surprisingly agreed this is abnormal. Have an appointment next week to have this problem investigated.?
I have a 2010 (IV) and the screen stopped responding to touch, I looked it up and seems like a common issue in the 2010.

I thought I saw it display heading up when I first discovered the compass, but now it always displays heading up and I don't know how to change it. Maybe I was imagining things.

View 2 RepliesIs it normal for a clicking and ticking noise to constantly originate from the JBL audio navigation system? I've noticed this noise while the vehicle is in electric mode at a full stop. The noise is also present while driving.
I checked the 4 disc cd changer and they are empty. I usually use the blue tooth system to play the music.

I have a 2010 Prius five and I blew the warranty in the first year and a half. At 134k miles the navigation is getting a bit crazy. So while I'm driving (not using the nav) a side bar screen will pop up with a few boxes that say calculating and it will freeze my whole system for about 2 or 3 minutes even though I can still see my location tracking behind the pop up screen. If I'm streaming music that will continue but I can't change songs or volume or anything. It also lags when I get an incoming call so I can hit the transfer button but it will take about 30 seconds.
I tried to see if my car needed an update from the 08.1 version but can't seem to find any info on it. No actual answer.
Just got my 06 Prius. The screen shows that Audio Off. The radio doesn't want to turn on. What could be the issue. 06 Prius with nav, Bluetooth, JBL etc. Everything else seem to work except the radio. Fuse perhaps?
View 3 RepliesIs there anyway to have the audio screen remain permanently on view? On my 2010 Prius, the screen view changes back to another screen after about 15 seconds. I would like the audio screen to remain on view so I can make changes between various presets. I know I can do this with the buttons on the steering wheel, but this may involve lots of button pushing. I also want to be able to flip between the presets and the text view (which shows me artist and song title.
View 1 RepliesBeginning yesterday, my touch screen and radio work only part of the time. It started with the radio just going silent for a few seconds at a time. Today, and this seems odd, I can mostly make it fail by starting car with foot on brake. I can mostly make touch screen and radio work normally by starting it with with foot off the brake. I considered fuse, which is unlikely, but... According to manual, touch screen and audio are on same fuse as clock, and clock is working fine.

View 8 RepliesI have a 2016 Prius with Nav. I do like to drive with the navigation (map) full screen most of the time. This does not seem to be possible. I would like either a way to set the navigation screen to 1 panel only. The options seem to be split screen or a 3 panel screen, or an option or way to change the map screen to full screen and have it stay that way. What I have now is the screen setup for split screen with Nav on one half and something else on the other. I can click on the map and have it go to full screen but after about 20 seconds it will timeout and go back to split screen mode.

View 3 RepliesThis is my first posting in this forum, bought my 2008 Prius Tspirit. The GPS navigation is not working, not in car so can't remember the message. The previous owner stated he only used it locally so didnt need gps and said it just need a programmable disc. There is a gps disc in the car, every time i load nothing happens, nothing wrong with cd player as it plays music cds whenever i insert it.
The car has done 47000 mileage and i am based in london, uk. The rear parking works. its not huge issue as i have TomTom but nice to have orius in-built working as well.
2004. There is a Navigation button on the dash as well as on the steering wheel but the navigation does not work. I'm the 3rd owner, the person I bought it from got it 2 years ago and said that the navigation never worked for them.
When I go to navigation I get the current GPS coordinates on the top left, but a blank screen. If I plug in my address it shows a map of the streets around my house and maps my house, but no routing info. It constantly says that I am 600 or so miles from my destination, but the map screen is blank. Does the fact that navigation appears on the screen & steering wheel mean that the car did, at one time, have navigation? Included with the owners manual was a navigation manual and a navigation quick start guide, so I believe it did at one time have navigation.
I have a check engine light on. The code it's throwing out is P0455 which is EVAP Emission Control System Leak (Large) My gas cap is on tight so it's not that. I'm not sure if it's my N80 Valve or if something else in the fuel system is wrong. For the record I did replace my fuel pump about 2 weeks before the light came on if that has anything to do with it.
