View 12 RepliesAny way to see my iPhone 5 screen on the display of the car? I love the big screen mote than the tiny iPhone 5 screen.
View 2 RepliesI went to turn my 2005 on today the normal startup screen came on then it went dark for about 5 secs then came on with the normal consumption display but with no readings. Also there is no radio memory and I can't see volume control or radio tuning. Any way to reset the system? Here is what I mean by no readings...

I can change my nav system radio for just a radio? I am not smart enough to make the nav work and the light from the backup camera wipes out my night vision.
View 2 RepliesJust got my 06 Prius. The screen shows that Audio Off. The radio doesn't want to turn on. What could be the issue. 06 Prius with nav, Bluetooth, JBL etc. Everything else seem to work except the radio. Fuse perhaps?
View 3 RepliesIs there anyway to have the audio screen remain permanently on view? On my 2010 Prius, the screen view changes back to another screen after about 15 seconds. I would like the audio screen to remain on view so I can make changes between various presets. I know I can do this with the buttons on the steering wheel, but this may involve lots of button pushing. I also want to be able to flip between the presets and the text view (which shows me artist and song title.
View 1 RepliesBeginning yesterday, my touch screen and radio work only part of the time. It started with the radio just going silent for a few seconds at a time. Today, and this seems odd, I can mostly make it fail by starting car with foot on brake. I can mostly make touch screen and radio work normally by starting it with with foot off the brake. I considered fuse, which is unlikely, but... According to manual, touch screen and audio are on same fuse as clock, and clock is working fine.
View 2 RepliesDo not like having the nav screen always be on especially since we rarely use it. Would much rather look at the audio screen. How do I make audio screen default?
View 3 RepliesCan Display Audio's phone interface accept pauses or waits (P or W) in the phone number? My phone uses them for voicemail passwords, eg dial the number, pause a few seconds, and then dial the password. So far it does not work at all through the bluetooth interface when initiated through voice command ("call xxx xxx xxxx pp yyyy#") or through the car's screen. I tried to directly store a similar number into the Display Audio "stored" numbers but could not find an option for the P pause.
View 6 RepliesSometimes in the bright sunlight, I cannot see the audio display or the small AC display that shows which vents the air is coming out from. Is there any way to illuminate these displays? Will some LEDs around them work or make it worse? I'm driving a C two. I have no intention of upgrading to an aftermarket sound system; I just want a simple inexpensive way to see the info on the screen.
View 3 RepliesIs there a way to keep the screen on map and still have the audio show? I tried this with dual screen but it only appears to stay in maps when I do this. I find myself switching to audio often so I can see what song is playing on xm.
View 8 RepliesJust got a 2012 c3, and I'm trying to get my iPod Nano (4th gen) to show up on the display as an iPod, controllable from the steering wheel and display. The manual says this iPod model is compatible. The iPod software is up to date.
If I plug my iPod into the AUX with a standard audio cable, it plays over the speakers fine but the display shows only "aux" and has no controls for it. If I plug it into the USB with an Apple cable, it doesn't plays over the speakers at all, and the USB doesn't show up as active on the display -- it's grayed out. I tested the cable elsewhere and confirmed it's fine.
Cd player ceased working. Readout: "CD check" stays on screen. no CDs will play. Not a fuse.
View 7 RepliesI have a Prius v five ATP, my wife asked if its possible to leave the screen set to the radio. I haven't figured how to do this yet. I usually have the trip info displayed, but if I hit the radio button it brings up the usual screen displaying the radio info for a minute or so (or however much time that she's changing the stations) but then switches back to the previous screen.
Is there a way to set the radio as a default so it doesn't switch back to the previous screen? Or use the split screen function for this?
Whenever I start my car the default screen is the map, whether I am using nav or not. Is there a setting somewhere where I can make the audio the default screen?
View 4 RepliesWe bought a new 2010 Prius III last August. We've been quite happy with it. One morning a few weeks ago we unlocked the door to go for a ride and noticed the screen on the Nav system was cracked.
I placed my hand on the screen and it felt completely smooth! I was the last one to drive her and it was fine when I parked in our driveway. There weren't any signs of vandalism and nothing hit the screen.
A friend thinks there was possible a small crack behind the molding and perhaps a change in temperature or going over a bump could have set it off.
How do I make my Nav. screen go away. I can click on audio or other screens but it always goes back to the map screen. How do I change the screen??
View 5 RepliesThe nav screen on my 2010 prius has recently stopped responding to touch inputs. All the function buttons seem to work, that is, the map displays and follows the car, the AM, FM, CD, setup, info-phone, dest, etc displays all show when called up but none of them can be changed or adjusted via the touch screen. Any way to reactivate it without pulling the whole unit, maybe resetting or rebooting?
View 7 RepliesMy 2010 had a small compass to show north all the time in the upper left corner. When I add the compass on my 2016 it splits the screen which is a real mess.
View 4 RepliesMy v will be 3 years old soon, and it has developed various electronics problem.
1. Night time GPS screen got so dark - now use Day time all the time as I learned that this was the prevailing issue.
2. The dealer swapped the GPS screen trying to fix the GPS screen issue. After the swap, I cannot switch back and forth between the map screen and audio screen. Once I am using the map, it just is a matter of luck to go back to the audio screen.
3. After using the windshield washer, the wipers do not come out automatically.
Now here is my problem - the problem 2 and 3 occur 98% of times - not 100% of times. When I took the car to the dealer, it was one of the 2% time and they could move back and force between the map and audio screen. Despite the fact that I showed them the video, the dealer said that they could not do anything as they could not duplicate the problem.
I am going to bring the car in again and tell them of the new problem 3. It was also videotaped.
When sitting in my life C with the power on listening to music there is no clock available on the touch screen. Any mods for this?
