My 2010 nav went bad this weekend on the road. It says it does not see my DVD. If you eject it and put it back in, it will sometimes, rarely come on a few seconds then back to not seeing the DVD. How to fix it?

View 14 RepliesThe Vent/defrost/front/rear buttons on the steering wheel quit working so I replaced them, still not working, so I replaced the Clock spring, still not working. The controls on the touch screen works fine its just the steering wheel buttons that don't work.
View 3 RepliesI just got finished putting in a Soundstream VR-652nb head unit into my 04 Prius. Everything is working great except when I try to play a DVD, the stereo thinks the car is driving. Even when I'm in Park with the E brake on or in Acc mode, the head unit still thinks that the car is driving.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2010 package IV not 4 because it is a 2010 and only 2010 used uppercase roman numerals for model designation, with jbl non nav stereo. I have been having issues with the volume control not working so was looking into upgrading it to a a jbl with nav since I can get a good deal on the stereo and nav antenna. My question is will the existing wire harness support this and will a unit from a 2012-2013 fit a 2010?
View 6 RepliesI just bought an 2008 Prius and I cannot for the life of me get the AUX function to work on my stereo. I have my iPhone plugged into the jack inside the center counsel, hit the DISC/AUX key and nothing. The cable between the iphone and jack is good, because I tried it on other devices and it works great. When I have a disc inserted into the stereo the DISC/AUX button works when switching from AM/FM radio to Disc and the cd plays. But when I have the cd removed from the stereo and hitting the DISC/AUX switch it does nothing. What am I doing wrong??? Or is the stereo broken????
View 4 RepliesI have a an issue with my 2010 Prius. I have factory JBL (no navi) system and for some reason, 2 of my speakers went out. What's funny is that my front driver side speaker is out but the passenger side works. The same thing in the rear. The one behind the driver seat is working but the one behind the passenger doesn't.
View 7 RepliesI have a check engine light on. The code it's throwing out is P0455 which is EVAP Emission Control System Leak (Large) My gas cap is on tight so it's not that. I'm not sure if it's my N80 Valve or if something else in the fuel system is wrong. For the record I did replace my fuel pump about 2 weeks before the light came on if that has anything to do with it.
View 2 RepliesMy used 2010 IV isn't accepting disks anymore. It happened suddenly where it wouldn't load consistently and then after ejecting all disks nothing loads anymore it keeps pushing against the disk when it's set to load. The car is under the 60-day warranty but I'm assuming it isn't covered under the warranty, but I'll ask tomorrow - I have 75k on it.
View 6 RepliesI have tried everything I can and for some reason when I try tagging and voice command to dial the phone in Bluetooth it always defaults to dial by name. Is there some setting that I am missing? I am a 61-year-old new Prius owner and having trouble with all of these fancy electronics.

When I press the Map button, the screen displays "the external system is not connected" also the voice came on and said voice recognition is off. Could it be a fuse or need to reset? It was working fine then just went black. I restarted the car a few times but still no work. Also where is the player at on the 05?
View 2 RepliesI was uber excited to update the Entunes system after the app updated itself on my phone (Nexus 6). I was looking forward to the iHeartRadio update, since I didn't understand the ability to listen to radio stations from other locales before. The update was supposed to allow you to listen to artist stations though, and pick up from where you left off if you were previously listening on desktop or mobile. However, I have not been able to connect to the app ever since the update, and it never establishes a successful connection.
I don't entirely care for Pandora since their algorithms leave you listening to the same blend over and over, and their ads are not customized and annoying, and although I'm playing with the new Slacker addition, I'd like to utilize the iHeartRadio function too. For now, I'm mostly using Google Play Music or Songza over Bluetooth.
2011 Aux port only working on left side. Its not the cable. Plug port seams loose and wiggles. Use for Sat Radio hook up.
View 6 RepliesI always listen to my Ipod in the car, but about a month ago the AUX button doesn't do anything when I press it the button is like this [CD AUX] but when I press the AUX side aux mode doesn't come on, but the CD side works. I took those plastic wheel trims off , it looks way better. I was looking on here and found out how to get into system check mode on the display and it gave me these codes for the radio, can't figure out what they mean though.
View 13 RepliesGot a 2010 Prius with navigation couple days ago. No problems so far except, in mornings, on cold start head unit acts strange. If I press map or destination button on the right side of it, it skips music tracks that are being played or changes the radio station. It glitches like that for about 15 minutes, than comes back to normal. turning the car on and off doesn't work at all. The unit had been replaced once under warranty by toyota dealer.

So long story short. I have 2010 Prius package V, JBL. Recently 2 of front driver side speakers stop working(1 on dash,1 on door) only when I listen to radio and stream music from my iphone. I played with the L/R F/R balance and made sure about it. However when I got phone call and using navigation guidance voice it works no problem.
View 1 RepliesMy 05 has a problem with the recirculate and defrost buttons on the wheel. The recirculate button will sometimes toggle the MFD between the consumption screen and the energy monitor screen like the info button does and won't change the recirculate light on the dash at all. Sometimes it will do nothing, and other times it works normal changing from outside air to recirculate. Also the defrost button will sometimes turn on the windshield defroster with 1 push then turn on the rear defroster with a second push and both will go off on the 3rd push.
Other times both defrost buttons will do nothing or work normally. When the wheel buttons are acting up the MFD will control both the recirculate and defrost functions normally so I don't think the MFD is the problem. The 12 volt battery has been checked and is good at 12.4 volts and there is no malfunction lights or codes set in the system. All the other buttons on the wheel function normally. What to check?
2013 Prius C with Entune. The USB connection allows me to charge my iPod (3rd generation) and iPhone 4S but I cannot play music via that connection. The system is designed to allow playback through the USB, right? I plugged in a flashdrive and was able to play music. I have tried three cables and none allow the feed from the device into the audio system. I am able to connect into the Aux port and play music.
View 1 RepliesOwner of a brand new '13 Prius C Two. No "Entune" system, just the basic radio. I connect my iPhone 5 via Bluetooth; it works wonderfully. I can still use the handset controls to make phone calls; I have speed dials set up, and using my iPhone 5 as a phone in the car works great.
What stopped working this morning: skipping tracks using either the "Seek" button on the Prius radio itself as well as the controls on the steering wheel. Volume controls on the radio itself AND on the steering wheel work just fine for adjusting the volume.
The "Pause/Play" button on the Prius radio does work, but only after about :04 seconds or so. A song or podcast will play; the steering wheel controls for skipping tracks does not work; same with the Seek button on the radio itself; and pressing the pause/play button works, but not immediately after depressing it. Takes a few seconds.The only way to skip ahead/backward is on the iPhone itself.
For the almost 2 months I've owned the Prius C, this is the first time this has happened. Connecting audio via Bluetooth has "just worked" every single day. What's perplexing about this is that I've changed nothing on the iPhone overnight. The Seek button on the Prius radio worked fine yesterday, as did the steering wheel controls not even 24 hours ago.
The Seek button on the radio itself does work with the radio and a CD. Same with the steering wheel controls; as long as I'm not trying to control the iPhone, it works fine.
i am having problem that all the buttons and the touch screen not working at al inspite the car is still new 2015
but the buttons on the steering can still control the colume and the radio !!
