I tried everywhere I could find today to turn on grid lines for the backup camera. I couldn't find them anywhere. I can't find anything in the owner's manual I downloaded either. What is the secret to getting grid lines to make backing up that much better?

View 2 RepliesI recently bought aftermarket CCD camera kit from eBay for my 2014 Prius-II and got it installed by best-buy geek squad. But camera is not working due to power problem. According to best buy technician, Prius factory harness is not supplying power when car is put in reverse gear. I am not sure how to address this problem.
View 9 RepliesJust purchased 2010 lll w/ Nav and backup cam. Although the cam works fine it doesn't show a grid. I drove a 2008 w/ cam and that did show a grid. The salesman stated some camera's did show it and others don't.

Something that would record and retain the last 24hrs of video would be nice. Just to serve as evidence if an accident occurs and the cause is disputed.

View 10 RepliesAll of a sudden, the navigation system in my Prius c is no longer giving me turn-by-turn guidance. It will, when I set a route, give me directions, once, and will then remain silent unless I press the on screen volume button, or use the 'Repeat directions' voice command.
I've looked through all the options screens several times, but don't see anything that seems connected to turning voice guidance on or off.
2012 Prius five Navigation system not giving verbal turn by turn instructions last 3 miles to destination. Also failed on new Prius at dealer. Toyota corp said navigation is working as designed.

View 1 RepliesIn my 2006 Gen 2 I got a sequence off of priuschat to turn off the beeping. The Prius C3 beeps with the door open (ok with that)..beeps with the lights on (ok I guess)...but when you turn off the car it beeps for no reason. How do I turn that off? These beeps are driving me nuts. There has to be an easy way to silence this.
View 16 RepliesI find my GPS in the Prius C is not giving sufficient time via audible alert before I need to turn, it only gives around 50 metres warning and at 60kph I find I miss the turn sometimes. I am sure I saw somewhere to adjust this but cannot find it again!

Also, is there a concern of voiding a warranty?
My backup camera seems to have all of a sudden lost its aim such that the alignment marker is higher on the right than it is on the left meaning that the edge of the bumper is higher on the right as well. It just happened all of a sudden and seems to be pointed a little to the left. Any way to adjust it or is this one for the 5K mile checkup?

View 1 RepliesIn my Prius 2005 BC, I enjoyed having the turn list posted on the right hand side of the nav screen. I noticed on my 2016 Prius Four ATP that all I saw were freeway exit lists and the occasional upcoming turn screen. I opened my trusty "Navigation System Owner's Manual" to page 199 and read about Map Mode. I see clearly that Option 4 is the turn list, but on my screen only the first 3 options are present. Is there some thing else that needs to be selected to have option 4? BTW: this is a US market vehicle.

View 19 RepliesSo last night, I left my parking lights on in my car (accidentally). 14 hours later, I come to the vehicle and it starts up no problem. I'm assuming that the lights automatically turn off, but the manual only says that the headlights do. I tried to duplicate the situation and I did just once, but I couldn't get the car do it again. Is this a standard feature that I can rely on? Or was this some instance of divine intervention?
