I just got my Prius Four, not IV, 2013 and the satellite radio stations are already preset. How do I delete theirs, then save my own?

View 2 RepliesEvery now and then, my satellite radio fades in and out. I cannot pin it on rain as it sometimes happens when it is clear. I can hear programming, but only 1 second samples, with fuzz for a second then again, 1 second of programming.
View 1 RepliesI have no difficulty adding stations to the radio pre-select menu but how do you delete all those annoying stations that have been pre-selected and take up space? I'm getting frustrated having to thumb through all the junk just to get to the setting I like.

View 2 RepliesIn June my Grandfather picked up a used 2010 Prius (not exactly sure what trim package it is? I think it's IV? It has heated front seats, voice activation, bluetooth, navigation, XM radio, NO sunroof though)
He honestly doesn't like the car that much, I don't think he knew about the "PWR" button that would make the gas pedal behave more like a standard throttle, but he is away on a trip right now so I am borrowing the car. I love it, and I'm going to show him the "PWR" mode when he gets back and see if that changes his opinion of the car.
ANYWAY I noticed when driving it that pressing the MAP button doesn't actually make the map display and instead changes the radio station? I did some searching and found that this may actually be a known flaw although from my searching it doesn't look like Toyota has addressed this?
I'm guessing the car is probably out of the original manufacturers warranty? Not sure if there might have been some sort of warranty from when he purchased the car pre-owned? I definitely plan to talk to him about this when he gets back because it is very annoying to not be able to switch back to the map easily. The only ways I have figured out to work around this is use the voice activation and say "show map" or to press the "DEST" button, choose a destination, and then delete that destination and then it shows the map.
I've read the manual many times...and I know it was this way too in a previous Passat I had. On a V10, can the steering wheel radio controls be made to change 'preset radio stations' instead of scanning to the next higher/lower station???
View 1 RepliesI use my touch screen a lot on my prius. When I do use my steering wheel controls for the radio it won't change from station settings 1-2-3. But it will change stations on station settings 1-2-3. Is it possible to use the steering wheel controls to go through all of the radio stations? This might allow me to stop using my touch screen controls so much.

View 5 RepliesI've got a 2011 five with the tech package and the satellite signal comes in and out every few seconds. Hiss, music, hiss, music.
It does this until I turn the car off and on. Sometimes it takes more than once.
Changing to FM, AM, USB and back doesn't fix it. Called XM and they reset it 3 times and it didn't fix it.
It's been doing it at least once a week now.
I just bought a satellite radio-ready 2008 Prius. Although the audio system does not toggle to satellite radio when I push the AM/SAT button, there is a satellite radio antennae on the dashboard.

View 2 RepliesThe MFD unit will change satellite radio bands and or stations after the car has been sitting in the sun for a while. I've had this problem since day one and the dealer could not figure out what the problem was. I finally put in a different head unit but the problem is still there.
View 2 RepliesIs this normal? I noticed the radio volume changing constantly during a drive to and from work. Radio keeps losing HD signal. I thought it was San Diego but last week, I drove to Orange County and listened to 102.7 which should have strong signal and HD radio was still going in and out.

I thought I saw it display heading up when I first discovered the compass, but now it always displays heading up and I don't know how to change it. Maybe I was imagining things.
View 3 RepliesI have an '08 prius, no Nav or JBL, with a little over 50k miles on it. My radio and MFD have recently stopped working. The MFD screen is off and unresponsive. The buttons around the MFD are lit, but pressing them doesn't do anything. Same for the radio, it's off and won't turn on - the buttons are lit and pressing them does nothing (except the button to eject the CD works). The steering wheel controls for the radio have no effect either.

I crank it to 25, and can watch it go up and up. It doesn't always happen, but all of a sudden I'll find it's very loud and check the setting and it's u past 30.
My 3 months is up and I don't want XM. Any way to get rid of the icon so that the mode button doesn't cycle to it?
View 3 RepliesI recently purchased a Prius. I had Sirius set me up with a trial membership and send a signal a number of time to my radio, but it keeps resetting to zero. I've tried turning the radio on off--the "tech support" at Sirius told to take car to an audio shop to check it. I frankly do not think it could be a problem with the radio--everything works on all other channels and channel 1 works with the previews. I don't know what an audio person could possibly do--I think the issue has to be with Sirius.
View 2 RepliesMy Sat radio in my PIP cuts out in a lot of places. My wifes car doesn't do this in the same spots. Is this a warranty issue or does the Sat radio have a smaller internal memory then most cars and can't handle trees, small hills, etc.
