View 1 RepliesWe have a 2010 IV and a 2012 pip. My Android phone will pair and connect with the 2010. It pairs with the 2012, but the 2012 will then say "Connect Failed" when my phone is selected. My wife has an iPhone which pairs and connects to both cars. My phone uses Bluetooth 4.0 profiles. And after pairing I've limited it to telephone audio only. I've deleted and repaired countless times with the same result.
View 2 RepliesI have an android phone (Motorola Atrix 4G), and it bluetooth syncs fine with my Prius C One, however when I am driving on the freeway, it will occasionally disconnect for several minutes, then reconnect. It's annoying because I use my phone as my personal Ipod and I can't stand listening to the radio, and without fail, every-time I drive in heavy traffic, it will disconnect and I'll have silence for a few minutes till it reconnects. I can't upgrade my phone till February and I plan to get an Iphone, but for the time being I guess I'll have to use an Auxiliary cable instead of bluetooth.
View 5 RepliesThere was an android OS upgrade last week, and now my phone won't pair to my F. It won't pass phone or media. I tried deleting and requiring, no luck. What to do?
View 3 RepliesI'm having troubling pairing a phone to the Bluetooth system. I worked fine with my plain-jane Sprint cell phone as well as my kid's iPod. However, when I pair my wife's phone the car's phone system does not see the device after a few seconds.
View 8 RepliesMy Samsung Galaxy S3 does synchronize with the nav system, but only partially (139 contacts). Is there a way to indicate which contacts should be synchronized?
View 7 RepliesI have an iPhone 5S and whenever I plug it in to my car it automatically switches to the iPod input and starts playing tracks in alphabetical order, though sometimes it remembers to continue playing whatever I had playing on my phone before. This is rather annoying because I'd rather the car stay in whatever input mode I had it, and if I do switch to iPod or Bluetooth, I want it to *always* remember to play what I was playing before, even if it's Pandora and not "iPod" music. Is there a way to configure the JBL system to do this? Or at the very least stay in its current input mode until I manually switch it?
View 3 RepliesJust got a Verizon iPhone4 (finally) and am having bluetooth pairing issues with my '06 Prius (non-Nav). The behavior is not quite what I've seen described on other threads, so I don't know what try here. Note that my old junkie dumbphone worked reliably with the Prius over Bluetooth.
View 8 RepliesIs it possible to stream my music via my android phone via cable to the USB port on the Prius?
View 1 RepliesBrand new PIP base owner, got all the phone stuff working with ATT Samsung Galaxy S4 KitKat 4.4.2 except messaging. When I select that item on the touch screen it just churns "refreshing" and never advances.
View 1 RepliesCan Display Audio's phone interface accept pauses or waits (P or W) in the phone number? My phone uses them for voicemail passwords, eg dial the number, pause a few seconds, and then dial the password. So far it does not work at all through the bluetooth interface when initiated through voice command ("call xxx xxx xxxx pp yyyy#") or through the car's screen. I tried to directly store a similar number into the Display Audio "stored" numbers but could not find an option for the P pause.
View 6 RepliesWhen I connect a phone to my wife's Prius it pairs easily enough. The problem is, each time i start the car, it finds the phone and decides to tell the phone to start streaming music.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2012 Prius Two, a monitor with Bluetooth capabilities. I use the Samsung Galaxy Note II with Sprint on Jellybean Android.
I have tried numerous music players on Android and here's what happens:
Music plays fine. Bluetooth paired perfectly. Randomly the entire head unit will reboot. There is no pattern. It happens after about a minute and a half. It shuts off and comes back on.
I do not have an AUX in unfortunately. When I tried my wife's HTC EVO 4G on Android It worked perfectly. Only Bluetooth.
I tried to install entune. No dice. it says that ny VIN is invalid.
I had to replace my 12 volt battery a few weeks ago. I'm also having issues with my samsung galaxy s4. For the last 2 to 3 weeks the phone in the car won't connect and the bluetooth is not working. Is it the car or is it the phone? If I uninstall the phone and reinstall it does connect but there's no guarantee that it will the next time.
View 5 RepliesBoth my wifes and my iPhones have had our favorite Phone numbers deleted after pairing with our brand new Prius V. We've only had it two days and Im starting to NOT like the Toyota technology at all.
View 2 RepliesSo all I wanted to do once I got my new Prius was set up the bluetooth. What a nightmare! Got the phone to recognize the car. Tried to upload the phone bock from my blackberry and all I got was a display saying "talking" . I waited and waited and gave up after 15 mins as I only have 50 names in the book. Now the radio isn't on when because this stupid "Talking" is on all the time. When I verbally dialed a number I tried with the 1 at the start, then without, but the area code and then no area code, and still no dial....
I have had the car 5 hours and if I could pick it up and throw it I would.
Have a gen3 prius 3 and was wondering why the phone does not sync when plugged in using USB cable.
i have an android phone - motorola atrix.
A month ago I bought a 2004 Prius with navigation and bluetooth. I paired it succesfully with my Google/LG Nexus 4 (Android 4.4.2). Now when I press the "call"-button on my steering wheel and enter a number, my phone dials that number, but when it is answered, I hear the sound over the phone's speaker, instead of the car's. The car's microphone doesn't seem to be picking up anything either.
View 4 RepliesWe just picked up Prius 2. Like it alot. Only issues so far:
I can't find the dual anchors for the infant seat base; I know I feel dumb and I'm sure the dealer can show me how to access Blue Tooth connection; Phone screen flickers on and off see attached images. I lose the ability to dial number or access contacts
Phone is connected the whole time. I've deleted and added the phone several times. I am using Samsung Infuse ATT
See images for what I'm talking about......
I have tried everything I can and for some reason when I try tagging and voice command to dial the phone in Bluetooth it always defaults to dial by name. Is there some setting that I am missing? I am a 61-year-old new Prius owner and having trouble with all of these fancy electronics.
