View 1 RepliesTrying to connect a Garmin GPS with the car audio in Prius? It seems they could never connect. I have a Prius 2012 model.
View 1 RepliesI noticed that when I active BT on my phone it connects to my cars phone BT automatically. But has a harder time when I try to connect to the portable audio player to stream music. I have to turn off the BT on my phone and turn it back on and then hit the "connect" button for the audio player and it works. Then I have to go back to the phone screen and hit connect again.

View 3 RepliesI bought a fully loaded 2004 Prius last summer with Navigation and bells and whistles. (I love it - even with 110,000 miles!) At the time I had a 3G Iphone (AT&T) and the bluetooth worked for phoning and the cord that came out of the compartment under the stereo worked for me to plug in my phone and play music. Of course there was no music display and I had to get the music going first and I couldn't view it at all while it was plugged in. (Meaning if I wanted to see the song or change to a new playlist I had to unplug it.) But nonetheless I was STOKED to have my iphone music playing. It also charged my phone.
A few months I upgraded to an Iphone 4S, and now when I plug my phone in I can't play ANY music!! (Bluetooth for phone works fine.)
Questions:
1. So I always assumed the cord came with the Prius although I guess the first owner could have put it in? Do that model came with one?
2. Most importantly: How can I play music from my 4S phone the simplest easiest way.....
I was able to pair a Sky 4.0 (Android 4.2.2) phone to my 2014 Prius 3, but can not establish a connection.
View 2 RepliesThis is a video on how to connect smartphone to toyota prius head unit via bluetooth, it shows the steps in details on both the car and the phone for easy connection. I hope its useful.
View 9 RepliesI had to replace my 12 volt battery a few weeks ago. I'm also having issues with my samsung galaxy s4. For the last 2 to 3 weeks the phone in the car won't connect and the bluetooth is not working. Is it the car or is it the phone? If I uninstall the phone and reinstall it does connect but there's no guarantee that it will the next time.
View 5 RepliesMy iPhone 5 links with my Prius via Bluetooth to make calls and to play music stored on the phone, but it fails every time I try the Connect To Internet option. I have entune on my iPhone. I've registered at the entune site.
View 12 RepliesSo all I wanted to do once I got my new Prius was set up the bluetooth. What a nightmare! Got the phone to recognize the car. Tried to upload the phone bock from my blackberry and all I got was a display saying "talking" . I waited and waited and gave up after 15 mins as I only have 50 names in the book. Now the radio isn't on when because this stupid "Talking" is on all the time. When I verbally dialed a number I tried with the 1 at the start, then without, but the area code and then no area code, and still no dial....
I have had the car 5 hours and if I could pick it up and throw it I would.
We have a 2010 IV and a 2012 pip. My Android phone will pair and connect with the 2010. It pairs with the 2012, but the 2012 will then say "Connect Failed" when my phone is selected. My wife has an iPhone which pairs and connects to both cars. My phone uses Bluetooth 4.0 profiles. And after pairing I've limited it to telephone audio only. I've deleted and repaired countless times with the same result.

How do i connect it to the radio or make a connection. I have a 2010 prius executive with hdd radio.
How to enter the symbol of an index such as S&P 500 to retrieve the quotes from XM? I tried all the usual variations and none seem to work.
View 1 RepliesI was driving to work yesterday and my stock radio completely shut off. It will not come back on. The local dealer was very supportive today, however. After a few hours of investigative work & a few calls to Toyota corp. They have determined that it was a bad component in the radio. They are rush ordering me a new one.
View 7 RepliesI'm trying to install my Alpine double din but I'm having trouble taking off the vent trim and others pieces to get to the stock radio.
I looked at the guide on the metra site but couldn't even get the drivers vent off (I don't want to break any tabs or anything).
Within the week the head unit has started to glitch out. Doesn't seem to be any real issues with any usability- at least yet. I have a 2011 Prius II.
View 1 RepliesI have a new 2013 Prius C2 I bought a couple of weeks ago.
I listen to a lot of am talk and it works fine. Problem is when I start my car it automatically switches over to FM.
I have a 2013 prius 4 and I would like to access music through USB. I have 2 folders on my USB. However when I plug it in, it does not recognize the folders and I get a list of all songs from both the folders.
Is there a way for the system to read the folders and access songs from those folders only?
I can hardly hear the bass on my new 2013 Prius 4, which replaced my lease of 2010 Prius 3 with Navi . both had their DSP setting at default balanced position. I thought it was because I got the base trim 4 with no addition, but my friend who just went from 2010 Prius 5 with Navi to 2013 Prius 5 with those whistle and bells felt the same on his new car.
View 8 RepliesI recently bought a 2013 Prius C 3. The display audio system makes a lot of white noise when it's on - sounds like a cassette tape hiss. That's okay I guess - chalk it up to oem audio. Right?
View 13 RepliesI have been driving my Prius III (2013) for about 6 months. Until 1 week ago, the vehicle behaved as expected. Now, the Bluetooth turns off after about 1 minute of being on. It will not turn back on. I did clear the paired devices under the clear personal data menu option, then I got my phone to reconnect. Then, Bluetooth shut down. It seems as though many are having this issue. Is this an issue that would be covered for repair under the warranty. My car is still under the original factory warranty.
