Just got my 06 Prius. The screen shows that Audio Off. The radio doesn't want to turn on. What could be the issue. 06 Prius with nav, Bluetooth, JBL etc. Everything else seem to work except the radio. Fuse perhaps?

View 2 RepliesI have a Prius v five ATP, my wife asked if its possible to leave the screen set to the radio. I haven't figured how to do this yet. I usually have the trip info displayed, but if I hit the radio button it brings up the usual screen displaying the radio info for a minute or so (or however much time that she's changing the stations) but then switches back to the previous screen.
Is there a way to set the radio as a default so it doesn't switch back to the previous screen? Or use the split screen function for this?
I have a 2006 Prius with about 53,000 miles on it. For some strange reason, about 2 times a week there will be no sound at all from the FM radio. The AM radio works, the CD player works, and the AUX in works fine, but complete silence from the FM stations (not even static or a hiss). If I turn the unit off and back on again over and over, the FM will eventually come on and work fine.
View 2 RepliesI have a Prius Gen III model 4 and was wondering how I can clear the call history on the radio screen. I'm one of those people who regularly clears the call history on the phone, but there seems to be no option to do it on my Prius screen. I'm just using a Motorola flip phone that connects via blu-tooth and not a smart phone. I've read online that there is a delete call history area, but so far I haven't been able to locate that. Could be the system in my car doesn't have that?
View 2 RepliesIs there anyway to have the audio screen remain permanently on view? On my 2010 Prius, the screen view changes back to another screen after about 15 seconds. I would like the audio screen to remain on view so I can make changes between various presets. I know I can do this with the buttons on the steering wheel, but this may involve lots of button pushing. I also want to be able to flip between the presets and the text view (which shows me artist and song title.
View 1 RepliesBeginning yesterday, my touch screen and radio work only part of the time. It started with the radio just going silent for a few seconds at a time. Today, and this seems odd, I can mostly make it fail by starting car with foot on brake. I can mostly make touch screen and radio work normally by starting it with with foot off the brake. I considered fuse, which is unlikely, but... According to manual, touch screen and audio are on same fuse as clock, and clock is working fine.

View 2 RepliesI discovered shortly after I bought my (used) 2012 C 4 that I couldn't turn off the radio. The volume knob didn't push in to turn off. Not a big deal, but I mentioned it to the dealer and they ordered me a new replacement knob. In the meantime, I just swapped the tuning knob over to the volume side and it's all fine. But I also discovered that the tuning knob side does push in – even with the broken knob – and not only that, it beeps when you push it. What is it supposed to be doing other than tune stations/change tracks? The Entune radio has a separate function for tone, balance, fader, etc., so it isn't doing that with the knob.
View 2 RepliesOn 2 occasions in the last week or so my GPS screen says "loading" on power up. It says not to turn power off as a status bar moves across screen. Never happened in the year Ive owned it, until now. A lot of personal settings get reset, including the time zone?
View 2 RepliesI tried installing a backup camera today. big mistake. When I start the car the yellow triangle shows up. and warning says check hybrid system. I try and put the car in reverse and I hear a snap, it slips to neutral and a warning appears that says put into P position. The only wire I tapped into was the red reverse light camera. I even tried undoing the install and I get the same messages.
View 18 RepliesMy MFD now only shows the Toyota Logo, whatever I do. Also, I cannot play music. The trick with pressing (hold) INFO and headlights three times does not bring up a diagnostic screen. My theory is that the MFD is waiting for some signal over the network before showing the usual screen (and it never gets that signal). Some years ago, I had a third party fit a new audio tuner and player (non-Toyota), and that worked more or less fine for years.
They had to leave the old faulty Toyota audio in the circuit to make it all work, and they said to leave the graphic equaliser on even settings, and then forget it. The old Toyota audio CD changer had failed, but the rest was OK. My 'guess' is that they had to leave the old audio device connected because it terminates the AVC-LAN with a 60 ohm resistor. Maybe that connection came off, and now the LAN signals are not good, and the MFD is locked up 'always waiting' for the signal from an ECU.
Cd player ceased working. Readout: "CD check" stays on screen. no CDs will play. Not a fuse.

View 2 RepliesWe bought a new 2010 Prius III last August. We've been quite happy with it. One morning a few weeks ago we unlocked the door to go for a ride and noticed the screen on the Nav system was cracked.
I placed my hand on the screen and it felt completely smooth! I was the last one to drive her and it was fine when I parked in our driveway. There weren't any signs of vandalism and nothing hit the screen.
A friend thinks there was possible a small crack behind the molding and perhaps a change in temperature or going over a bump could have set it off.
How do I make my Nav. screen go away. I can click on audio or other screens but it always goes back to the map screen. How do I change the screen??
View 5 RepliesI went to turn my 2005 on today the normal startup screen came on then it went dark for about 5 secs then came on with the normal consumption display but with no readings. Also there is no radio memory and I can't see volume control or radio tuning. Any way to reset the system? Here is what I mean by no readings...
