Quick question, how does one delete navigation history, i.e., all, on the navi system?

View 2 RepliesWhile on a road trip this weekend, I noticed our "MPG History Records" was off by a month. While fueling up, I told her to go ahead and set the correct date. When she used the steering wheel to make the adjustments, we found out it was 2 years and 1 month off. We bought the vehicle used, and apparently it was never set. The only way we found the change the date was by advancing the days; which means we would have to click through 2 years worth. We currently have it set to the right day and month, but its still under 2014.
View 4 RepliesI have a Prius Gen III model 4 and was wondering how I can clear the call history on the radio screen. I'm one of those people who regularly clears the call history on the phone, but there seems to be no option to do it on my Prius screen. I'm just using a Motorola flip phone that connects via blu-tooth and not a smart phone. I've read online that there is a delete call history area, but so far I haven't been able to locate that. Could be the system in my car doesn't have that?
View 2 RepliesI have no difficulty adding stations to the radio pre-select menu but how do you delete all those annoying stations that have been pre-selected and take up space? I'm getting frustrated having to thumb through all the junk just to get to the setting I like.
View 1 RepliesI've had my Prius v about a month. I uploaded my phone address book but there are many numbers I don't want to have on the car address book. Is there a way to delete individual entries in the address book?
View 4 RepliesIs it normal for a clicking and ticking noise to constantly originate from the JBL audio navigation system? I've noticed this noise while the vehicle is in electric mode at a full stop. The noise is also present while driving.
I checked the 4 disc cd changer and they are empty. I usually use the blue tooth system to play the music.
2011 Prius III with JBL navigation system 9,000 miles on the odometer.
I have a 2010 Prius five and I blew the warranty in the first year and a half. At 134k miles the navigation is getting a bit crazy. So while I'm driving (not using the nav) a side bar screen will pop up with a few boxes that say calculating and it will freeze my whole system for about 2 or 3 minutes even though I can still see my location tracking behind the pop up screen. If I'm streaming music that will continue but I can't change songs or volume or anything. It also lags when I get an incoming call so I can hit the transfer button but it will take about 30 seconds.
I tried to see if my car needed an update from the 08.1 version but can't seem to find any info on it. No actual answer.
I can't figure out how to mute the navigation system. I found the volume control, but it doesn't have a silent option. How to do this?
View 4 RepliesMy son loves his new 2015 Prius with navigation, but is annoyed by a feature in navigation. During a trip set, an alert tone precedes whenever the voice instructs to make a turn, followed by a double alert tone. Can these unwanted tones be programmed out?
View 3 RepliesThis is my first posting in this forum, bought my 2008 Prius Tspirit. The GPS navigation is not working, not in car so can't remember the message. The previous owner stated he only used it locally so didnt need gps and said it just need a programmable disc. There is a gps disc in the car, every time i load nothing happens, nothing wrong with cd player as it plays music cds whenever i insert it.
The car has done 47000 mileage and i am based in london, uk. The rear parking works. its not huge issue as i have TomTom but nice to have orius in-built working as well.
2004. There is a Navigation button on the dash as well as on the steering wheel but the navigation does not work. I'm the 3rd owner, the person I bought it from got it 2 years ago and said that the navigation never worked for them.
When I go to navigation I get the current GPS coordinates on the top left, but a blank screen. If I plug in my address it shows a map of the streets around my house and maps my house, but no routing info. It constantly says that I am 600 or so miles from my destination, but the map screen is blank. Does the fact that navigation appears on the screen & steering wheel mean that the car did, at one time, have navigation? Included with the owners manual was a navigation manual and a navigation quick start guide, so I believe it did at one time have navigation.
I have a check engine light on. The code it's throwing out is P0455 which is EVAP Emission Control System Leak (Large) My gas cap is on tight so it's not that. I'm not sure if it's my N80 Valve or if something else in the fuel system is wrong. For the record I did replace my fuel pump about 2 weeks before the light came on if that has anything to do with it.
View 2 RepliesIs there a way to use the navigation system when you are driving instead of having to stop to key in information?
View 3 Replies I got a 2012 Prius two weeks ago.
When the map was on the screen, I went down a new section of interstate where the GPS was telling me I was going over grass or turn here from the grass to a city road. How do you update the map or should I continue to use Google maps on my cell phone?
Can you transfer cell phone Google maps to the Prius?
In my Prius 2005 BC, I enjoyed having the turn list posted on the right hand side of the nav screen. I noticed on my 2016 Prius Four ATP that all I saw were freeway exit lists and the occasional upcoming turn screen. I opened my trusty "Navigation System Owner's Manual" to page 199 and read about Map Mode. I see clearly that Option 4 is the turn list, but on my screen only the first 3 options are present. Is there some thing else that needs to be selected to have option 4? BTW: this is a US market vehicle.
View 8 RepliesAfter a long trip this past weekend, I'm curious how the navigation system gets its traffic info. I received several traffic alerts (that were all cleared by the time I got to them).
View 7 RepliesMy 2010 had a small compass to show north all the time in the upper left corner. When I add the compass on my 2016 it splits the screen which is a real mess.
View 4 RepliesI have a 2011 Prius with DVD Navigation, and now a 2012 Prius V. I cannot believe there is no "Go Home" command for voice navigation on the new system. This makes no sense whatsoever.
Does this system can be updated either on the fly or at the dealer in the future? The voice recognition is not nearly as good as on the 2011 system.
When I have the navigation routing somewhere, I can't figure out how to adjust the volume of the voice. How can I do this?
View 9 RepliesMaybe it was something we said, but our otherwise bulletproof 2005 just stopped talking. We had an unfamiliar mechanic pushing buttons to reset our oil change notice recently, but other than that we are clueless. We have checked the usual "voice on" commands but seem to be lost on this one.
View 2 RepliesI have a new 2015 Prius 4 and have the 3-month trial of SiriusXM radio. I need to understand what functions would go away if I let the subscription expire. If I navigate to a destination, I get audible real-time traffic updates for the selected route. Is that from the satellite? If I am driving without a destination set, there are areas of congestion shown on the navigation screen. Satellite? Anything else?
