I have had this ongoing issue with the rear running lights on my 337; the lights just don't turn on all the time. At first I thought the bulbs were burning out but they aren't. I can just knock on the tail lights and the lights come on and stay on. I assume that it's not a short or bad contact or they would flicker.
View 6 Repliesso i have opened and closed every door a million times and my open door light is staying on and when i lock it it doesn't beep like it should. i lock it and then whenever later my alarm/ panic horn goes off. it did this a few days ago but went away but now it won't. View 8 RepliesRecently my tail lights went out and my turn signals dont work either, the light for the turn signal on the dash doesn't light up either. My brake lights do work tho and so do my reverse lights.
View 3 RepliesMy driver side tail light is dim when i brake. Passenger side is fine, changed the bulb and nothing. Thought it was a fuse and nothing. Checked it with Tesla light and i get power and all but still dim with new bulb and fuse.
View 7 RepliesOk so I just got HID's put in the GLI and now when I take my key out of the ignition my heater fan stays on till I turn off my lights... does this sound normal?
View 21 RepliesMy 1999 GMC Sonoma has a occaisonal problem--the tail lights stay lit after the light switch and the ignition are turned off. The brake pedal does not appear to be sticking. The cure has been to remove both light bulbs, wait a few minutes, plug them back in, and all is well. This might happen an average of once a month, seems more common in hot weather.
View 1 RepliesMy sons 98 F150 4x4. First off he had a head light go out and replaced the bulb. Then a day or so later his tail lights would not go out after he turned the truck off. I had him to replace the pressure switch(I think that's what it is called ) anyways, that didn't work. So now he takes out the fuse every time he turns off the truck, just so the lights will go out. But, when he puts the brake fuse back in, the brakes work fine, but his windows will not roll down. I am totally confused with what is going on.
View 1 RepliesI'm new to Volkswagen, never had one before. Just bought my buddies 2003 GTI 20th anniversary #106. My bud install glass projector headlights, which he has the projector as his DRL's and for some reason when you release the E brake, which turns the DRL's, the projector lights on, they flicker and only the driver side stays on leaving the passenger side off. If I pull the E brake back up to turn them off and back down again it flickers on but won't stay on. Sometimes it does switch sides to where the passenger side works and the driver side doesn't but its the passenger side that mostly has the problem. Now I can continue to do this and eventually after 3 or 4 pulls of the E brake i can get them both working. I'm OCD about these little things like this and i want it to work right.

View 2 RepliesSo I bought my 20th with the airbag light on... Never really bothered me till now as I'm tying to fix everything that's wrong with it. I vagcom'd it and it said driver side seat buckle was the fault. Looked under the seat and it seems the white plug isn't plugged in. I haven't taken anything apart yet to get a closer look, but could that be the problem? Does that plug actually plug into something or is it just a loose plug?

I didnt cut any wires so i know it couldnt be that. I pulled the fuse out and put it back in, now it works but sounds like a old man with extreme lung problems. Now my Airbag light came on and how to "fix" it.

I tried to search but for some reason the search is down. What could be wrong with the car? It still drives and seems fine but abs and traction doesn't work.

I drove my car to the dealer and they found out that my driver airbag unit has a lot of pressure on it, so they told me that the airbag needs to be replaced.

View 4 RepliesI have a 20th AE. My traction control light went on and stayed on while I was driving and now it won't go away. I hit the switch to try to turn traction control on, but the light still on and traction control is still inoperative. I havn't really checked out what could be wrong yet, so what could be the fault and what I should check first.
