GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: Rattles And Few Clunks Coming From Underneath The Car

My car is just about to hit 100k . I'm installing coils soon and getting ecs tunings stage 2 refresh kit while im at it. I've noticed some rattles and a few clunks coming from underneath the car. The best way I can describe the rattles are a metal on metal sound, like something is loose when I go over bumps and it sounds like its coming from the front wheels. The clunk is not loud, and not consistent but I noticed it today that when I got on it to merge onto the highway. I can feel it through the floorboard which kind of worries me. I was wondering while I'm replacing the suspension, new wheels etc, what else should I replace? Or what should I look for to be loose underneath, bolts etc. I'm hoping that the refresh kit would provide a more solid feel and take care of some of these annoying sounds.

On my GLI, the passenger side doorpin rattles obnoxiously. I read an old thread that said to wrap the door pin with scotch tape, but I was hoping for something more permanent.

I just had the Eurojet TBE installed and I notice the exhaust rattles loud at idle and startup... I want to say the piping is hitting something and causing this.... should i hang the exhaust higher.....

Car was started for the first time after the radiator was flushed and new coolant was put on it. The car was just jumped and charged after was brought from a copart auction. Now my brother said that everything looks smooth, no xxxmas tree in the dashboard, idle is steady, engine sounds good.
Now here comes the thing, the temps of oil and water are at a proper level. When he steps on the gas pedal a few seconds later there is some sort of smoke coming out from the back of the engine (exhaust manifold, turbo, intercooler stock pipes from the SMIC) My question is cause he's not a mechanic and he will arrive tomorrow. crack manifold, shot turbo or some leak in the hoses?
aBtw the car has 105k miles.

Ever since ive owned my 337 its always been a pain to keep my cel off but i got a pocket scanner and found that the code is coming up for a bad ECM !!! i called around and the cheapest i found was 1200.

Lately I've noticed an exhaust smell coming into the car when idling. Could it be an gasket. Car doesn't sound different at all or anything.

I got my heater core replaced about 2 months ago. Since than I get this almost like a burning smell coming through the vents. Took to dealer they said they dont know, because i replaced cabin filter, and they say they don't smell a coolant leak. So to find out they have to take apart my dash! Comes through when the car heats up/ or i turn on heater.

So I purchase this 20th couple day ago ( love it alot !!) but i noticed that the asr light stop working. When I press the asr switch the light comes up which i think its telling me that works. But its supposed to work when you go high rpm's right ? just wanna know since i am a totally newby in the 1.8t engine ...

I recently had a turbo installed, everything went well, car runs very smooth considering having just upgraded the turbo. However, I keep noticing a strong smell coming from the engine bay. Kind of like a gas like smell or some chemical. At first I thought it was the loctite we used to put the gaskets in place burning off or the coating of the turbo but it has been a week and it still smells. I do not have a check engine light, my vacuum is right on the money, I am boosting fine, and my temperature gauge hasnt moved. What could this be? exhaust leak maybe?

For the life of me I can't figure out what is causing this smell. Its got a little over 65k miles and for whatever reason when I'm driving at a steady 70-75mph on the highway I get this garbage like smell that can last between 2-6 sec or so with or without the a/c on. It appears to have no effect on the car though. I'm not overheating, I'm not losing any power from the motor, my clutch is still very smooth and no signs of slipping, my idle is solid as a rock, and I can't find any fluids leaking at all. It does seem to happen more frequently as the outside temperature increases and it is a very potent smell. I just can't find the source. It has only happened while I'm on the highway and have had absolutely zero luck finding that same smell when I've got it parked with the hood up.

So, I just installed a ESE cold air intake on my gli...and when i shift it sounds like air is coming out of the intake. make sense? is this normal? Also, how high is the risk of a hydrolock?

For a couple of weeks, when i put my car in reverse and also sometimes in first, I hear a weird clunking sound coming from under/around my feet when i release the clutch and start taking off....is the clutch gone or going soon???

So there's been a noise coming from what seems like the transmission for some time now.Here is how it began...One day I was reversing and noticed this clatter/grinding/vibrating noise coming from underneath my car. It only happened in reverse.However, now it's happening in all gears but not when accelerating, ONLY on deceleration in gear.
There's no clutch slipping, no noticeable loss in power, etc. Just the noise.I don't want to start replacing things left and right hoping it will fix it so throw-out bearing, trans mount, flywheel, etc?
2004.5 GLI 1.8T O2M. Transmission hasn't been touched from what I know of (bought the car w/ 37k, now has 77K),

I've been trying to locate the source of the noise that is coming under the car. Specifically below the handbrake. Like something is lose, took the car to a shop to have it inspected, checked the exhaust, and there was nothing there, all clamps there and screws.
It only happens most of the time when the car is cold and it feels all the way from the hand brake to the stick shift. Sounds like a rattle like something is about to go off from the car but I cant imagine what could be. Couldn't replicate the noise at the shop, only when you are driving and the car is in inclined it rattles really bad until the car gets back to the normal position. Specifically in 1st gear .

Literally drove the car yesterday for three hours nothing was happening. Went to turn it on today when it idols a little constant white smoke comes out of the exhaust! Then when I'm driving and my turbo boost lets out a big cloud of smoke comes out. What could this be? Also just filled my car up with gas from empty today if that matters

I noticed that my floors were wet. To the touch they weren't soaked or even a puddle. It was just a damp feeling. I took a moisture reader to the carpet and sure enough I was right. I used a space heater to dry out my carpet. I had it all dry and now some moisture is back and where it gets tricky. The floors that are wet, are in the middle of the foot well in the rear of the car. When I use the moisture reader, I try and follow a leak along the carpet but I can't not for the life of me figure where this water is coming in at. After a lot of teams each most issues seem to be leaky sun roof or leaky seal on windshield. I've cut the nipples off of my sun roof drains already. What can cause this water? have any way to test where it maybe leaking from? In the footwells there are frame bumps and the water is most wet in that location.

So the problems continue with the final payment of car. So now my oil pressure light comes on after driving for 10 minutes and sometimes goes off with i push in the clutch or keep it under 1500 rpms. Enough oil in car. What could be going on?
