GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: How To Turn Off E-Brake Alarm

My car think that the e-brake is on, When it's fully down and the cables are not tough with no brake rub. Is the a easy fix for this? I have a 2002 GTI.

GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: While Door Still Open It Will Lock Back And Turn On Alarm
so whenever i unlock my car with the remote on the key, i can open the door. while the door is still open it will lock back, turning the alarm on as well. would that have anything to do with the key? or some other problem?

Headlight switch itself works fine. Running lights turn on. Brights work.

I just recently put a new battery in and I was wondering if thats why my car alarm goes off sometimes? I've also noticed about a week ago in my gauge cluster that the sign for the door being opened was on and then it turned off and then flicker on and off for about 30 sec ? So I think that has to do with the alarm but my question is how do I fix this problem???

Just yesterday my alarm went off. I thought maybe it was because a cycle went by with loud pipes, but I disarmed, opened the door, re-armed and it went off again about 10 minutes later.
Last night it went off/on for about 2 hours every 10 minutes when locked and armed/disarmed. The last time I went out, disarmed it, left it unlocked and started walking away when it went off. Scared the hell outta me at 3am. What the problem could be?
GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: Key Fob Sets Alarm Off?
MY mk4 key fob has been working just fine till the other day. I went to unlock the doors with the key fob and the alarm started to sound. Proceeded to unlock the doors with the actual key and then that shut the alarm off. So I can only lock my car with the key itself now. I changed the battery out of the fob and still nothing. Every time I go to hit unlock it triggers the alarm.

So recently my car alarm on my GLI has been going off randomly while I'm at work and school. The alarm goes off for about 5 minutes and then stops. Tonight it's going off constantly and I don't want to wake up my neighbors and I need to sleep tonight. It's going off every 5 minutes even after I disarm the car. I've been searching up why it's going off online and haven't had any luck finding the source. Also after a few minutes of unlocking it the car locks itself and then the alarm sounds.

I have problem in my alarm siren, need to say it's an original electronic with 3 pins connector, the problem is i don't hear any sound to the siren when it's going off , when i arm it i do hear 1 peep and when i disarm i do hear 2 peeps, but when i open any door it's just blinking the hazard without any sound! i checked via VAG-5051 in 46 then 02 to find faults, i found 1 fault : H12 no communication!
When I do 46 then 03 to operate the siren i do hear it just peeping ! I wondered if the 5051 telling me no communication with the sirenH12, then how do the siren peeps in lock and unlock?

Today I used my remote to unlock my car without a problem. When I got home from work I went to lock my car and nothing. I went a bought a new battery and replaced it, still no luck which now means I can lock my car but cannot set my alarm. I tried my extra remote and no luck with that one either.

I have a 2003 20th anniversary edition and when i lock the car with the remote it sometimes does the alarm honk and sometimes doesn't. when it does honk after locking it, about a minute or so later the alarm goes off. but when it doesn't honk after locking it with the remote i am fine, nothing happens and the car is locked.

So yesterday I finally got around to replacing the driver side door lock module in my GLI. I bought a OEM replacement. After taking 4 hours to install it yesterday I locked the doors and armed the alarm to see if replacing the module would stop the possessed car alarm. It didn't, at 1:30 am the alarm went off waking up me and my family. I've ran out of options of what it could be setting off the alarm and it's annoying having to unhook the battery every night.

After researching this for weeks, I think I've found that the pollen filter seal is worn and that's why I'm having water leaking onto my front passenger side floor. I'm having some issues with my brake fluid going low every 2-3 weeks. I get the 3 beeps on the brake light and the flashing. Sometimes it's constant and flashes 15+ times. Sometimes it comes and goes throughout the day or even the week. After I fill up my fluid, it's fine. Usually, have to fill up a pretty good amount though. Almost a whole small bottle sometimes.
Obviously I'm having a leak but I'm not sure where. I'm a noob when it comes to brakes. My brakes work fine, clutch feels fine, etc.. I read around and was told it could be the clutch slave cylinder leaking, but is this common on the O2M? I looked at the lines around the master cylinder and nothing seems to be leaking. Also, I'm not noticing any brake fluid on my shoes or in the cabin. Any tips on what to check, what's common? Are the leaks most likely going to be in the engine bay?

Problem: HID's wont turn on
Parts: Helix Projectors; Direct Connection Tuning 6000K HID kit, Ebay relay harness
Other Facts: Had this setup for about 8 or 9 months now with no problems whatsoever. Drove my car home last night and they worked fine. Got in my car tonight for the first time since last night and my headlights wouldnt turn on. All lights, work, just not the low beam HID's (and the high beams, but that's because there's no bulbs in there).
The fact that neither bulb works leads me to believe its the relay harness. Whats the deal? What can I check? All connections and fuse for relay harness seem fine...
GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: Car Just Cuts Out And All Lights Came On Until Turn The Key
I'll be driving the 20th, and all of a sudden everything just cuts out and the car turns itself off (Only happens when I come to a complete stop). Afterwards, all dash lights come on until I turn the key back and forth and restart the car. After that, she drives perfectly and usually doesnt do that again but......She will either
1)Blip the radio off then immediately it will come back on
2)Today I turned on my DRLs and the illumination in the dash bliped out for about 3 seconds then came back on
3) When I shut the car off, every now and then she resets herself to where my clock resets back to noon and the odometer (trip mileage, not total) resets back to zero.
What ground to check, etc.
GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: Can't Turn On High Beams?
I have a BMP 20th and I notice that I cannot turn on my high beams but I can flash them. What the problem could be? I was planning on installing my OEM HIDs tonight but now I am wanting to get this fixed before I put them in.
