Turn signals quit working on my 2006 E-150. Swapped out the relay under the dash and it did nothing. Also noticed the brake lights aren't working. The headlights and taillight a are working. I pulled the fuses under dash for the lights and they tested ok. I did notice the flasher relay was making clicking sounds intermittently even when not touching anything.
View 3 Replies85 f150. My driver side brake light and turn signal in the back quit working. The tail light works tho which is a different filament. The bulb is good and I changed the flasher relay...the circle thing in the fuse panel. Everything else works just fine. looking for a starting point.

the front turn signals work fine, although they flash fast. I know that usually means a light on its way out. neither taillight flashes though, which puzzles me.
my second issue is that, of the 3 brake lights, only the high mounted light illuminates when I hit the brakes.
My brake lights, turn signals, and flasher are not working in my truck. Is it a fuse and what fuse? Could it be a relay?

I have an 08, with the tow mirrors/turn signals integrated. On the passenger side, the turn signal does not work. I'm not getting power at the plug.
I traced the wire colors from the headlight and taillight turn lamps and tried splicing into the same colored wires under the passenger door sill. This didn't work (I did get it to work on park lamps though, just not the turn signal). I can't find wiring diagrams.

View 7 RepliesI did lower the steering column, onto the seat. Also lowed the dash and the wiring. Does it sound like the Multifunction switch could be bad? I can put it in drive, so I don't think it's the brake light pedal switch, that's bad.

View 14 RepliesI have a 2006 F150 and the left rear turn signal and brake light has quit working. Also the license plate lights do not work. The cruise will disconnect when signalling a left turn. I have checked fuses and bulbs and the wiring/connector at the multifunction switch with no luck.

Turn signals work in front of truck. Running lights are working fine.
Same goes when trailer is connected on truck. What could be the problem.
1991 F250 Supercab Diesel 4X4. I made a mistake while wiring up my trailer lights and ended up grounding out my brake controller, frying it. Along with that, I popped a couple fuses as well (1, 5 and 9 I believe). Replaced all fuses and got my signals (F/R) back at least.
Here's what's NOT working/messed up:
*Brake Lights
*Cruise Control
*Rear ABS light comes on a few minutes after driving.
*Front hazards work, not rear. When I apply the brake, the hazards pause in the on position.
I've tested the brake switch on the brake pedal (Green/Red and Green) and it works properly. So, current is obviously not reaching the rear brake lights.
Another note. The truck is wired with a 7 pin plug in the bed for a goose neck trailer. It also was wired to a 6 pin on the bumper. I replaced the 6 pin with a 7. The signal/brake pins on the plugs (both) and also not receiving power. What's the next thing to check?
I was replacing the dome light in my 06 Ford F350. I tested the light and it worked then while screwing it back in, the lights when out and then the radio. I suspect it may be a fuse, but have yet to find the culprit.
View 2 RepliesI have an 03 F350 Lariat, the overhead console display quit working awhile back (about 18 months ago) and so far my only option is to buy a new one from Ford. I have looked online, on ebay, local wreckers and have come up with nothing. I have come close a few times but the wrecks didn't have a sunroof so the display is different. I searched and found ways to fix the resistors but mine do not seem to have the poor solder problem that some do. Where I can find a replacement display?
View 1 RepliesI have checked the fuses for the Hazard and the Turn Signals. Both look fine. I tried replacing the turn signal flasher (which was a task in itself). After all of this it is still not working. What else could it be? Simple short?

When I push the switch for the drivers window I can hear the relay in the fuse block make a click but window doesn't move. If I push the switch for any other window (on the drivers door or any other door) no click at the relay and no window movement. I've swapped the relay with other relays in the fuse block but nothing changed.
I've tested the driver side window motor by running 12 volts directly and the motor works fine. When I press the PDL switch I hear a buzzing sound coming from the passenger floor area behind the glove box but the locks do not go up or down. I started the truck and when I put it in gear I can hear the PW relay in the fuse block clicking repeatedly. Put the truck in Park & the clicking stops.
I was told (on another forum) that the problem is most likely my GEM module. Bought a used 1 on eBay and installed it today but nothing changed.
I have a '97 AWD and my brake light, turn signals and emergency flasher have stopped working. I've checked all the bulbs, checked all the fuses (under the dash) replaced the flasher just in front of the fuse box...nothing. All the running lights work, and the 3rd brake light above the rear door window works.

View 3 RepliesJust bought an 04 Super duty with the factory plug 7pin and 4 pin plug. Checked the fuses and finally tracked down the 2 relays under the hood but can't seem to find anything wrong. Everything on the trailer works except for the running lights. Is there another fuse or something I have missed? Trailer works fine on my buddies Duramax and worked fine on my old 97.
View 14 RepliesI have a unique problem with my newly acquired 71 F250. The left brake does illuminate when the brake is pressed but when the right turn signal if activated the left brake light does come on. The left flasher light also does not work. All other rear ligh function are normal. I am assuming I have a short or a wiring issue just wanted to know if there was any common item that might be know about this topic. The bulbs are all new. The reverse lights do not work either but pretty for sure its unrelated.
