I'm wanting to get a single in-line steering stabilizer for my '05 F250 4x4, but I can't seem to find any that include brackets.
I don't need a dual setup because I'm not running a big lift or big tires, but I want an inline stabilizer so that I can just leave the stock one in place.
What is the part number for one that comes with the mounting brackets?
So I'm interested in putting a new steering stabilizer on my truck and am pretty set on the Rancho RS7000 series, but I am torn between getting a single OEM replacement or the full dual stabilizer kit. Single replacement? Did it make a difference? I've heard really good things about the dual kit, but obviously the price difference is huge. I don't do a ton of off-roading, but I do drive constantly on crappy city roads which can be just as bad
View 14 RepliesI am not sure mine are done yet, but I was told by mechanic that they are failing and that the fronts aren't spinning as smooth as they should when up on the jack. They were investigating a sticky caliper at the time and said they believe heat from failing bearing caused that issue. I figured I'd do a little looking for parts pricing just incase. Does come with everything needed to change it? From reading, I found part # 73CZ-1104B is that the one?

View 3 RepliesI'm trying to locate the part number (and a replacement) for the plastic piece that covers the top of the tailgate (when its shut) next to the step. It's about a 12 to 16 inch long piece of plastic which has some broken tabs on it, so everytime I drop the tailgate, it either flies out or starts to... I checked the fische online and I don't even see it in the picture. I did find some one-piece parts called "tailgate spoiler cap" but I didn't find any to fit a 2014 F-250 with the step on the tailgate. Should I just tell the wife to go hot-glue it ?

View 3 RepliesReplacing the backing plates on my rear end, figure get new inner bearings and seals in there. Bearings seem fine but cheap insurance, dont wanna pull it all off again.
When i pulled my hub off, the hub seal stayed on the housing shaft, this is normal? Just gotta pry it off there somehow?
Then new seal-TIMKEN 370247A just tap it into the back of the hub? Also is this the right inner bearings? TIMKEN NP114036

View 5 RepliesMy 2002 250 just got ball joints, bushings, sway arms, 4 wheel alignment and new tires to top it all off. Did All this to correct the shakes, shimmies, popping and grinding in the front end. Now they say I need a steering stabilizer up front. Does any other than ford make a bolt on one and haw much and where can I get one.

View 2 RepliesWhat are the part numbers for the REAR Sway Bar Bushing Clamp to fit a 2004 F350 Dually w/ the dana 80 axle? This is the part that surrounds holds the bushing that encompasses the sway bar holding it to the axle itself.
Found out couple weeks ago that the front and rear bushings were different heights. Meaning the ones for the front sway bar bushings were taller and the ones in the back were shorter. I can find the part numbers for the front ones pretty easily but the rear ones is like searching for the holy grail. And yes I need the shorter rear ones.
ust bought a new to me 01 f150 7.3. Looking to put a plow on it. I cant figure what these brackets are for, they under the front bumper visible through the wheel well. Thinking maybe for a plow?
View 2 RepliesI blew a power steering cooler line yesterday and lost a bit of fluid. Removed and replaced the line, consequently losing most of the fluid in the system (during line replacement). Re-filled the system and now i have great power steering when driving but none at idle. If I bring my RPMs up about 150-200. I get it back in full force. Could my PS pump be on the way out or might this just be air in the system?
View 3 RepliesI have an 03 F-250 4 wheel drive with the 6.0. For the last 3 months or so I have been having some issues with the steering system and I am not quite sure what it could be or what too look for. I have already replaced the power steering pump due to the shaft seal leak on my old one. After that I noticed that the truck would never really center the steering up on its own like it used to and that it pulled in either direction depending on which way you steered it. I then decided that I would replace the steering box on the truck. I replaced it with a Napa one. Right after that I had it on the alignment rack and the guy said it was not even out of alignment. As I continued to drive the truck it continued to pull in either direction whenever you took a hard turn in either direction. Then one night coming home from work, I was pushing it a little hard, the truck pulled itself across the center line. The steering wheel and all turned to the left. It did this 5 or so times in a row. I am also noticing some issues with my lock outs but don't know if it is tied to the same issue with the steering.
View 3 RepliesChecking the front end with the front wheels off the ground I noticed that my Suspension Stabilzer Bar has about an 1/8" up and down play in it. No side to side play at all. I checked the nut on the ball joint and it is tight but wondering if this is why I am feeling a slight tight/loose feeling when going down the freeway at 65.
It has this "tight" or a slight grab feeling when the steering wheel is centered and I move it left or right slightly (like normal steering wheel movement to stay in your lane) I don't feel this at slower speeds 30-40 etc just when I am straight on the freeway at about 65-70 mph.
Ball joints and everything else looked fine, no play noticed. Never had the "death wobble" but having this up/down play in their stabilizer bar.
I'm on my second set of links. The replacement were Dorman 3 years ago. They are rattling again. Do I just replace them again? I forgot to add, the bushings were replaced this year.

View 11 RepliesI have a 2011 F350 with camper package (didn't want it). When I drive on a bumpy road (without 5th wheel), the truck suspension does not absorb the shock. The ruts just throws the truck side to side. Really hard, so I can't go on a dirt, rough road. On one bump it poped off my rear tire cap.
My problem may be with the camper package trying to keep the truck from going back and forth.
There is a 7/16 inch steal rod going from the truck bed, around the differential, and back up to the other side of the truck. Is that the rear stablizer rod?? Can I disconnect it? What would be

I found a wracked 2000 f350 v10 4wd dually with 4.10 and I was wondering if I could convert it to single and swap that to my 05 v10 4wd Excursion upgrades to dana60 for 40's.... Is it possible?
