Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: Getting Code P0741 - TC Isn't Seated Properly?

99 F350 7.3l with 4R100 trans. About a month ago I took out a monster trans that had about 60k on it and it was burnt up. No warranty. ..customer bought another monster. After the install when going into 4th the torque converter would instantly lock making it feel as though the truck was falling on its face. Monster had me do some data logging and from the info I provided they determined it had a bad solenoid pack. They sent a new one out...when I went to install the new pack I noticed when I dropped the pan that the fluid was iridescent looking...a bolt for the valve body was in the bottom of the pan and lots of material stuck to the magnets....
Needless to say that trans only lasted about 2 weeks after putting the solenoid pack in. Fast forward to today..got trans number 3 from monster under warranty. After the install everything seemed good. About 30 mins into highway driving the od light starts flashing. ..subsequently the P0741 code. I did put 2 new wire pigtails on the front and rear speed sensors. The pigtails were a ford service part but they were a bit different in design. I am pretty sure the wires are correctly oriented..if not would this cause the issue. I really am leaning towards a bad solenoid pack again. My buddy thinks the TC isn't seated properly....where do I start? Also has an edge programmer on it..but it's been on the same map all this time

My buddy has a 2002 F350 CC Longbed with a 7.3. Last night the overdrive light started blinking. He said he drove it today and it takes about a mile or so for the light to come on but then it is a steady blinking. Truck has about 254K miles on it. He said other than the blinking light everything seems normal. How to figure out what this issue may be?

I tried to clear the code and the light stopped blinking, but he said it started blinking again on the way home.

For the last few weeks I have noticed my transmission overheating a bit, nothing bad, but I have just been running around town local so no drives over about 15-20 mins.
Well, Friday night I went out to see a friends band play about 40 mins away, My trans temp climbed steadily the whole way out there, peaking at 226 by the time I got out there. I kinda took my time getting home hopping bars to give the trans a break to cool off.
Did some diagnosis today, first thing I did was unhook the line going to the rear of the transmission and did the bucket flow test. I fired it up and fluid came pouring out of the line which goes into the rear of the trans, nothing really came out of the rear of the trans, it was all out of the line.
So that tells me that its getting flow through the coolers. I didn't measure the amount like some do, but I can tell you it looked like a strong steady flow.
I made sure the fluid levels are proper as well which they are, it was maybe a 1 quart low which shouldn't effect anything. I also inspected the coolers and everything appears to be clean with no airflow restrictions. Took it out for a brief drive again and it climbed up to 147, maybe 5 miles out 5 miles back. Ambient temp is 62 today.
I am getting multiple codes on my Edge Evo which I have had set to stock settings since I bought the truck. Codes I get that concern me relevant to the trans are P0741 and P0743. Both seem to relate to the torque converter.
I feel like my RPMs are a bit to high at highways speeds so I am wondering if I have a TC that is slipping a bit while driving. I did notice a bit of a metallic pearl in the fluid that came out. Aside from that I feel like the trans is shifting ok, though sometimes I have to let off the gas to get it to shift into 4th.

I noticed yesterday after using my drivers side rear door that i really have to force the door shut to have it latch properly. It has always needed a little more force than usual to shut but not I never had to grip the side of the door and force it like I'm gonna punch the side of the truck. After its latched the top is solid and doesn't budge but the bottom seems to be able to move a little if i grab it and try and wiggle it.
I am not sure if it is misaligned or what but its driving me crazy, is there something I should look for in particular? The passenger side shuts like an average door and doesn't really require a lot of force to shut but the drivers side has been like that since the day my dad picked it up new except now its really bad. I tried the search function but I could only find threads about door stuck shut not doors that wont shut.

I have a 1999 F250 7.3 Diesel and my AC isn't working properly. On Max AC as you're driving it would be ok and then it would be warm and then cold and then warm and then cold and so on. I've noticed that the clutch stays engaged as well. I've never seen it disengage. The freon is at the level it needs to be. Then just a few days ago, if you have it on Max and High the air disappears from the vents and you hear a noise somewhere in the dash on the passenger side. I think something might have come off?? What's wrong with my AC with it going from cold to warm constantly? I heard that maybe clutch has too big of a gap?? I have almost 200,000 miles on it.

I am trying to make sense of a P0741 code accompanied by a flashing OD light.
The truck is a 2002 (12/01) build date) F250, 7.3,4x4, Auto, with 245,000 miles on it. The truck seems to shift fine but around 40/45 it feels like the TC does not lock, followed by the flashing OD light.
The transmission was serviced 500 miles ago but the OD light flash was intermittent until last week, now its been constant. I want to take care of it before I do any damage.

Replaced my old sagging leaf springs with new X code springs. Had an almost impossible time centering the axle even with adjustable center link. Even with it totally maxed out it is just barely centered. Now I have a terrible squeak coming from springs. Is this because of the side loading of springs? Is there any fix for it? Not only do they squeak but the drivers side now sags almost an inch even with brand new springs. 2002 F350. Super annoying and irritating

I have been trying to find a new sensor after my truck popped a P2285 code. I can't find ICP sensor at any auto parts store. I found this but it was labeled as a fuel pressure sensor on RockAuto: More Information for Standard Motor Products ICP103... Is this the same thing?

Code was showing for the knock and climbed under the truck and checked to see if it was plugged in grabbed the wire and to my surprise the wire kept coming and so did a piece of the knock sensor, is this going to affect my truck badly?? worst case?? 97 f250 4.6 standard

I plan to be buying a 2000 F250 V10 in a couple of hours.
I had my boss run by and take a picture of the door tag so I could determine the axle code. What he sent me was this:
Other than giving me the knowledge of how bad of a photographer he is, it doesn't tell me much else. The axle code area is blank, what gives? Am I just going to have to crawl under the truck when I get there after work?

2004 SD ext cab 5.4L Gas ! I have a mis-fire at low RPMs ! Autozone said it kicked out code P0316 Crank Position Sensor ( CPS ) but the CEL was not on ! So I replaced it and Still has the same problem. I checked the coil packs there good according to the autozone diagram "how to" ! On Friday afternoon the ABS light on my dash came up, ran the codes on my SCT Livewire and came up with a "P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor A"
What should I be going after? Rear speed sensor? Front ABS sensors? Transmission speed sensor?
Speedometer is functioning 90% of the time, twice in the last 48 hours it wouldn't then shift hard and I would pull off to reset.
I have looked over the search results and wondered if there is a way to test the sensor with my multi-meter? Seems quite a bit of people had flashing over-drive light's at the same time, which I do not.

I just ordered '00 F250 SC 4x4 SWB XLT with the factory standard manual hubs. The hubs show up on the vehicle order confirmation as code "21M MAN LOCKING HUB". I can't find this code in the ordering guides anywhere but kbb.com shows this code as "Manual hubs delete. Required with 213 shift-on-the-fly". I want the manual hubs. I think ##### is incorrect. For my piece of mind, could someone who has also ordered the factory standard manual hubs verify that the code is indeed 21M. And for those who ordered shift-on-the-fly, could you verify that 21M does NOT show up on your order confirmation...

Ok says injector pressure sensor low first guess was the upgrade to the blue spring. Did that code clear for a day then comes back on looking at the hfcm but kinda unsure? Came on after we got the real cold snap and i had to buy a block heater I don't see one on here i also added diesel 911 to the tank this is a 05 f250 w 6.0l....

So I'm not sure if I bought a lemon, but i picked up a F-350 6.4 Turbo Diesel two days ago and the check engine light came on yesterday. It's giving me a P0088 Code as well as the P0088pd. It's got 131,000 miles on it so no warranty will cover me.
I'm tracking the TSB put out telling the techs to replace the HPFP, but they mention a loss of power. I've only had the truck for two days, but I've driven them for work before and I can't detect any loss of power. Besides the code, everything seems to be running fine.
What can I can try out before running out and changing the HPFP? I'd rather not cut so deep into my savings if I don't have to.

my 03 f250 has a 5.4 and i cant seem to get rid of a misfire in cylinder 3. i had a p0353 code but that no longer shows up. i replaced all the coils with Accel coils, replaced the plugs with motorcraft platinum. i have checked the wire all the way back to the PCM and it checks out. i replaced the pcm with one that has been reprogrammed. i have swapped the injector and coil with another position and still get misfire at #3. Replaced the coil connector with a new one. I have good fuel pressure. I no longer get the code but the misfire is still there, unplug the coil and injector while running and no change. Unplug a different cylinder and you can tell the change. I checked compression and its good. I am lost here!!!!

I was getting codes on 3,6,8 cylinders. I found a broken wire at the coil on 3 and the bolt was broken that secures the coil. No plugs were blown out. I replaced coils and plugs on those cylinders and rewired at #3. I also checked and cleaned the injectors. The 6 and 8 codes are gone but still getting a code on #3.The coils were out of wrecking yard and I suppose it could be a faulty wiring job. Could I take a well-insulated screwdriver and check for spark from the coil at the spring? The plug was heavily deposited as it had not been firing. Could deposits be causing other issues with raw fuel having been dumped in the cylinder?

What this means, how can I fix it? No technical jargon or abbreviations that I will not understand. The error code is for a 2006 F-250 6.0L Diesel automatic. I have a tow controller installed it came with the truck when it was new.
