View 4 RepliesI am looking for a wiring diagram for that taillights for a 1999 f350 pickup. I am working on a friends truck that doesnt have any taillights and I would like to have a diagram in hand before I get started on it.
View 7 RepliesI'm currently trying to swap out the standard AM/FM/CD for a DVD receiver with backup camera, and need to find out the proper wiring colors and pin position. I'd rather not send it to a stereo shop, as I've seen a lot of hack work by so called "audio installation experts", and besides.. I have a shop and can do the work myself.
I tried looking through AllData, but since my truck is too new, Ford doesn't release a lot of technical info for us in the aftermarket. Looking for a link to a Ford diagram?
What is the factory radio wiring colors or know where I can find a diagram?
View 14 RepliesMy four wheel isn't working. I have a 2002 f250. When I turn my esof switch the dash light doesn't come on and when I turn on the lights the switch doesn't even light up. I'm going to check for power at the switch but I was wondering to get a diagram for the 4x4 so I can see if there's anything else I can check or look at.
View 9 RepliesJust got an inexpensive LED Stop/Turn/Taillight Bar my problem is it has (3) wires Red, Black and White while the available connection from the old bar has only (2) wires Black and White with Red Dots.
The wiring instructions for the new LED bar says (1) Attach black wire to tail lamp circuit(+), (2) Attach the Red wire to the stop/turn circuit(+) and (3) Attach white wire to a good ground(-) location.
How I should hook this up? My thought is Black to Black , Red to White with Red Dots and White to Frame metal.
I just picked up my 2007 F350 as a replacement for my 2003 F350 (still have the 2003). I really like the uplifter switch option on the truck, I can normally figure things out but I am one of those people who is electrically challenged (home and auto)and also am one who does not wish to butcher the new ride (same for the home)to gain an education in the art of wiring. I would like to reinstall my headache rack lights on this truck as they are needed for winter work. I was in my truck manual and the info for wiring is weak and the website did not respond nor did my email to ford. I have found the wire harness but it is not tagged as a pair/color to switch. I have the lights already grounded to the rack, so I am thinking I just need the hot wire from the switch. Looking for the color code for positive and ground for the switches.
View 14 RepliesI am looking for a site that i can download a service manual with good wire diagrams. I want to install an alarm with remote start and need to know what wires go to what.
View 2 RepliesFirst, need a wiring diagram for the outputs on the back of the brake controller module? I want to check and see if there is a problem with the connection to the rheostat. I can activate the trailer brakes with the slider bar but not with the brakes.
Second, where I can get a new OEM controller that will replace my old one if I can't "Cypher it out"?
I just had a headache rack built for my truck. Looking to wire in 2 very bright reverse lights, 2 not so bright lights to deal with stuff in the bed of the truck at night, and also mounted a receiver hitch so I can hook a winch up back there when needed. looking for opinions on wiring for all of this. Never wired stuff like this so I'm shooting in the dark. My wiring skills are adequate but not great.
View 7 RepliesI need a replacement driver side door, towing mirror for a 2011 Ford F250 SuperDuty with turn signal, heated, electrically adjustable manual-extend and manual fold options. The truck VIN number is 1FT7X2B67BEC96261. The truck also has an Outside-Air-Temperature indication which is what I'm not sure about. It is my understanding that the Outside-Air-Temperature sensor may be in the side mirror. Looking for any info on the temperature sensor located on this truck? I found an aftermarket mirror while I can not afford Ford. However, the aftermarket mirror ad says it does not have Outside-Air-Temperature and I would like to keep that working.
View 1 RepliesI have noticed my trans temp gauge needle is dead center of the gauge even on a cold start. I thought my sensor was under the pan so I pulled it and did not see any sensor at all. Is there a external sensor?
View 5 RepliesI have the 2012 XL F-250 6.2 v8 , I have an ambient (outside air) temperature sensor that needs replacing, I ordered it and was told it is located in the passenger side mirror from the parts guy, there is a tap in the bottom of the mirror to access it, looking for a replacement type video link of how to do this, as I am not finding one via youtube, pulling the tab off on the bottom of the mirror I am not really seeing the part I have as a replacement in the mirror.. This is the XL version/work truck so ALL manual mirrors....
View 1 RepliesI have an isspro sensor that I need to install on my 4r100. I have it all installed except for the actual sending unit. My question is where is the best place to put it?
I've watched multiple YouTube videos and it seems a lot of people use the test port on the driver side above the linkage. I found out the hard way that it is a very poor choice of location. A lot of people say that the best way is to drop the pan drill a hole and weld in the bung? I was wondering would it be possible to put it on the "out" line on the transmission oil headed to the cooler? 01 f-350 7.3
I have an '06 F350 dually with a 6.0 diesel. I bought this used about 5 years ago and for the most part have loved it. i would always smile on the inside when i heard people bash the 6.0...i thought i got lucky....until today.
140k miles. recent oil change. all is swell...until this morning. Stick in key and turn it. glow plug indicator comes on...all lights come on for a few second....wrench, abs, dtc etc....wrench shuts off...glow plug light comes on...4 or 5 seconds later wrench light comes back on....turn key and NO CRANK.
All fuses are fine...starter cranks if i jump the solenoid...but it won't start. Miles to empty and everything else is just dashes hit the OBD and it says "engine sensor data error"/ "trans temp error" ...
I just bought a 2002 v10 crew cab, everything great form the first 3 months, but then my coolant sensor stopped working, changed it, and the same thing! Only works a couple of times, and the truck started to rough idle a little, and now I have black smoke coming out of the exhaust!
View 3 RepliesIs there a hose diagram for the four wheel drive? My hoses are dry rotted at the hubs so I was wondering if there are more somewhere that I have to change?
View 2 RepliesMy CC display shows all icons on the right regardless of settings (see pic). The temperature setting and outside temp will not come on.
The second issue is that my front blower starts to lose velocity and sounds strange on long road trips.
Having a problem finding the right belt diagrams for a 2000 F53 stripped chassis in a motor home and the dealer has been no assistance even after spending a bunch on parts...
