I am looking into replacing my cab light bulbs with amber led's. What ones do you recommend? There are so many available out there. I don't want some cheap crap! Also, what is the bulb type in are in the mirrors for the parking light and turn signal?

It has a magnetic mount and I didn't want to put a hole in the roof. I have a cap on the truck and I also don't have a sliding rear window. This will not be a temp. install. I need to be able to get the end of the electrical cable into the cab of the truck but it has a 12 volt lighter plug on the end that cannot come off. Is there a rubber plug somewhere in the cab that I can route the cable through?

The back end breaks free very easily, but there seems to be a little pull in the front. Is it possible to have unequal power to the wheels?
The pigtail from my bumper mounted 7-pin to the factory connector is all hacked up from the previous owner so I'm looking to replace that pigtail. Also wondering if there should be 2 connectors down there to add a connector for my gooseneck or do I need to splice another universal 7-pin into the bumper light pigtail? Also, is there another (preferably slightly cheaper) option besides e-trailer for such a connector?

I have tried to remove the whole assembly with a plastic trim tool with no success. I have pulled as hard as I dare and figure there must be a procedure I am missing. I go to install them and when I tighten them up it causes the turn signal bulbs to push in towards the fender on both. I put my hand back there and it feels like the bulb socket is being forced against the header panel assembly. Am I missing something?

My question is; what is a reliable after-market replacement part that will bolt up?
My "new" truck has a sluggish seatbelt on the driver's side. It won't retract all the way.
How do I get to the mechanism to have a look at it or put in a replacement?
The belt on this one comes out of the top of the seat, not from against the door.
07 Superduty, Oxford white. I have been looking all around NC pick a parts for a decent replacement tailgate. I know more recent years will fit, with hinge mods. Question is, what is the most recent year that will fit with hinge swaps only?? Looking for a source in SC/NC/VA for a replacement?

View 14 RepliesI seem to be having a run of bad luck with my dash vents. 3 of the 4 vents in the dash have broken and I would like to replace them.
Are these vents made aftermarket? If so who? The dealer wants fifty some odd dollars each.
I have a lot of play in my front suspension and steering components. At first I thought it was my old tires, so I had them replaced and that worked, but there is still quite a lot of play. I would describe it at loose steering.
I went to get an alignment and they said they couldn't do it because of too much play in the tie rod end.
So that is going to get replaced. What else is down there, bushing wise, that I should replace to eliminate play and rejuvenate my steering?
