I am looking to replace the 4x4 offroad sticker on the side of the bed and wanted to know the dimensions. I've been looking on eBay because dealer wants way too much for stickers. just want to make sure I get the correct size.
View 5 RepliesI have looked at many of the other treads and I can not find the answer. How do I locate the keyless entry code sticker in my 2008 F350? I just bought the truck used, I do not have the card that is delivered with the truck and I don't want to pay the Stealership to hook it up to there computer. I am looking for the RAP or the computer module as it is called in the owner's guide.
It is not behind the glove box, there is no longer a fuse access panel under the dash like the earlier SD's, the drink holder under the upfitter switches does not "pop out." Before I start with any tools, I am looking for input.
So just as I think I have it figured out what size tire and wheel combo I want to go with, I began thinking about going from an 18" wheel to a 17". I can save some cash, have a few more tire size options and save on tire weight.
I know alot of guys go up to a 20" setup but that's just not my preference on trucks.
Any negative to doing this? 315/75/17 tire size interests me. Had that on a Wrangler and liked the look. Going to look a little more at 17" sizes before deciding.
I bought a new 2016 F350 SRW and ordered the 17" aluminum wheels with 245 tires specifically to put on my 2005 E250 cargo work van.
I bought 20" Platinums for the F350 and used the existing lug nuts.
Now I need the flat faced washer type lug nuts for the van so I can use the new aluminum wheels. Are they the same thread as the F350?
i know the 05-07 grille badge is 9 inch the 08-11 is also 9 inch and the 11 up is 12 inch

I am replacing the pan since the rust has finally started weeping ATF, and the bolts need to be replaced as well, they have turned into little rusty nubs. So i want to use stainless ones. View 4 RepliesI made a bone head mistake and crunched the steel brake line between the rear axle and the passenger side sway bar mount. Truck is a 2003 F-250 with a 7.3. I would like to go to the auto parts store, get bulk steel brake line and bend it myself. But, I don't know what size the line is or what size the fittings are. Whatare the sizes???
View 3 Replies2014 Super Duty F350 CC SWB 4x4 20" rims FX4 Gas. Did some measurements today and it turns out the right rear is 1 inch higher than the left rear. The right front is 1/2 inch higher than the left front. Is this normal?
View 14 RepliesI have a 2013 f250 6.2, I bought the truck brand new only have about 3000 miles on it and the other day I noticed that the drivers side front is lower then the passengers side front, the drivers side is about one inch lower, this doesn't seem right, also my drivers side front wheel seems to be pushed forward about one inch to the bumper that also doesn't seem right.

Had a friend recommend replacing the FICM, did that now it stumbles, less often, less movement like it's muted. I noticed it again yesterday after hard breaking, but also really likes to do it in heavy traffic.

View 8 RepliesMy truck, 2001 F250 SuperCab 4x4 should be delivered any day from the Pacific Northwest. It has Zero rust on it and I want to keep it that way. Unfortunately here in Kansas City, Missouri most of the trucks of this vintage I see have rust around the back wheels on the bed. What steps, if any, can I take to prevent rust on my new truck? I'm pretty OCD about cleaning my vehicles (or anything for that matter, lol) so washing the wheel wells is a no-brainer.
View 14 RepliesMy F-350 is only blowing hot air out of the passenger side vents, and not the drivers side. Could it be a vacuum leak or a an electrical issue? How could you troubleshoot this to find out what the problem is?
