I got back to my new truck after doing a job and found the passenger side tail light smashed. No note or evidence of what happened.
Will a 2013 or 2014 taillight also match this truck?

A fellow ford driver (f150) pulled around a car on a residential street and clipped my mirror. His whole mirror as removed from his white beater truck. My mirror has the bottom plastic housing broken. Power fold and in/out and all glass movements work. How do i fix. Do the housing on the manual fold mirror with signal is the same as the power fold.
View 10 RepliesI have a 2013 f250 6.2, I bought the truck brand new only have about 3000 miles on it and the other day I noticed that the drivers side front is lower then the passengers side front, the drivers side is about one inch lower, this doesn't seem right, also my drivers side front wheel seems to be pushed forward about one inch to the bumper that also doesn't seem right.
View 3 RepliesHave a 15 250 diesel and my drivers side door has a rattle in it. Seems to be coming from around the area were the mirror buttons are. Removed that little panel and applied some silicone around the edges and seemed to work for a bit then back to noise. Seems to go away when cab heats up good or warm outside.

View 4 RepliesLooking for a diagram which wire to tap so I can trigger/run my aux back up light? I tried tapping the existing wire behind the tail light and it didn't work, made the truck do funny stuff like killing the ignition. I had read on here on white knights web site that on the newer trucks you cannot use the back up circuit from the seven pin so I didn't try that. I don't have up-fitters and really didn't want to run a wire to the front but will if that is the best solution.
View 8 RepliesHad the DEF 500 mile warning come on last week. Second time for this. First time early on when it was new. Put a 2 1/2 gal. container of Blue DEF then and all was well. This time I did the same thing but keep getting the 500 mile warning afterwards. Cancelled the warning a couple of times , and now I am getting a warning that I have 378 miles left on the DEF fluid remaining. Its like the truck didn't recognize me adding the 2 1/2 gal. Also the check eng. light is on now. Thinking thats related. 7,000 mile on truck

View 8 RepliesMy F-350 is only blowing hot air out of the passenger side vents, and not the drivers side. Could it be a vacuum leak or a an electrical issue? How could you troubleshoot this to find out what the problem is?
View 13 RepliesI just had my pass side head lite burn out.....or at least I thought? I replaced the bulb twice......not touching either 1 with my fingures.......and I have no low beam on that side? Only hi beam on the pass side? All my fuses are good, and I even unhooked all my plow harness.

View 4 RepliesI have a 99 F-250 Super Duty 4WD and here lately when it rains a lot I have a lot of water getting in on the passenger side floorboard coming from somewhere under the right front under the dash. I have looked under the cowling and don't think it is from there. I heard of someone having water funnel in from the 3rd brake light gasket and I did replace that because it had some leakage but after last nights heavy rain it has soaked my carpet again. Once i dried it I drove it and lots of water came from somewhere and completely soaked a bath towel. It may be from the heater blower area and filling up the box under the dash till it runs out???
View 14 RepliesYesterday jump in truck head out and when I go to use right (passenger) blinker and it doesn't stay on. Left side works fine. It will stay on if held but on it's own it blinks like 4 times then shuts off.
Side note not sure if connected but a couple days before was using wipers and when I shut them off it was still like it was on intermittent. It happened a couple times but seems fine now, but then with the blinker I am wondering if it is something in there.
Alright, after finally fixing my 4X4 issues, now I have a coolant leak. It's on the passenger side, just above the exhaust downpipe. I can't find any leaks in the hoses, and as far as I can see it looks like it's coming out of the back of the head and running down the back of the block. The odd thing is there's no oil in it, and no coolant in my oil (which obviously is a good thing), but I don't want it to get to that point of it is getting worse. Heat works fine, and it isn't overheating, only losing maybe a gallon a month. At some point the ford gold stuff was flushed and it has the compatible green, that is the only thing I can tell is not stock. I don't want to tear it down if I don't absolutely have to.
View 7 RepliesIm an outside sales rep and I drove 85k miles last year in a F-150. The time came where I needed a new company truck and now I'm in a 2015 F-250 2wd 6.2l lariat. I love the truck but my back is killing me. I've only had it a little over 3 weeks but it has over 6k miles on it. The majority of the time my bed is unloaded but there has been a few times my 1/2 ton was overloaded so i stepped up to a 3/4 ton. Ive tried lowering my tire pressure but the TPMS light comes on. I also bought sand bags to leave in the back of my truck to add weight to it when not loaded. Im about to pull the trigger on bilstein 5100s but was wondering of there is anything else I could do make the truck ride a little smoother.

All the sudden got a pass side door ajar warning. I tried doing the WD40 trick but its still there. Do I need to change out the entire latch or do they sell just the door ajar switch ....
Have my oil leaking-passenger side head gasket replaced (along with the drivers side for preventative measures).
To ease my mind at such an expensive repair on a truck I just recently bought, I was wondering what else gets replaced with this repair.
Obviously the head gaskets along with head studs, coolant and oil, but anything else? valve cover gaskets? intake gasket?
Have a 5.4l that has multiple issues.
1st, fouled spark plugs on passenger side. All of them have a carbon glaze. That side of the engine seems dead. I checked the pcv valve and its fine. I took the head off to have fixed a broken exhaust manifold screw. After reinstall when The engine started and there was a lot of white smoke from the exhaust. Then it quit smoking. I was hoping it was from the new exhaust manifold i put on, guess not. I took the intake manifold off and noticed that there is an extra hole past the back of the manifold that the manifold gasket goes over but not the manifold itself. The pictures Ive seen make me think the setup is correct, but what is the extra hole for?
2nd, high idling. Around 2000rpm's. I am guessing its because of the right side not working for smoother idling?
I bought my wife a 1999 F250 SD a few weeks ago and we both are loving it, but a few days ago she noticed water in the passenger side floorboard. We've been having a ton of rain lately, so much that I think I saw a big boat with a bunch of animals floating in my backyard yesterday. Seriously though, normally I'd assume that the heater core was leaking, but this was just water, no antifreeze. Obviously the water is from a leak somewhere, but I can't find it for the life of me. I sat in the truck in a pouring rain and didn't find a leak anywhere. The carpet is wettest around the area where the door sill trim meets the kick panel, however she said she had seen a few drops of water standing on the top of the floor mat.
View 10 RepliesI whacked my passenger side mirror on my 2016 F-250.
It look like I got lucky and only broke the chrome "skull cap" and knocked the mirror out of it. The fold, telescope and power adjust all still seem to work fine.
I see Ford sells just the Skull Cap and the mirror as separate parts - a complete mirror assembly.
My first question is how does the mirror attach to the base? There are a couple holes in the gray colored base that tilts - does it clip/snap into those holes? There isn't any adhesive residue so I am confident it isn't glued on.
My second question is what is the plug on the bottom of the mirror for? It has a slot that a screwdriver can fit in and it pops off and there is a plug on the interior side - what is this and what is it for?
Trying to get it off. I removed four bolts nd still having trouble.
