We have a 2013 F150 Lariat. When you raise the rear seat bottoms the entire floor board opens into a really large nice flat space. By removing the storage tub from my 2015 SD Lariat will that provide the same results as the F150 ?

View 1 RepliesI'm hoping this might be a "quick fix". Got in the truck the other day and my power driver's seat had no function what so ever. Not a big deal for me as I drive with the seat all the way back but the complaints are starting from my wife so it's time to find a fix.
This is the first F250 I've had so the wiring is a little new to me. I checked the fuse panel and the fuse seemed okay I swapped #9 out for #22 as they are both 30A and I don't need the trailer at this time but still no luck.
Are there any other systems tied into the driver's power seat, any wiring harnesses I should check or perhaps a fuse that is not shown in the owner's manual? My truck is the 2013 Gas F250.
I cant get my rear seat back to fold down anymore. I was on some very rough roads over the weekend and when I went to fold the seat back down the handle doesnt move. Is there a way to fold it without? Its almost like something is jammed which may be from the pounding the truck took over those roads.

Reason being I have two very large dogs that own the back seat. It's basically a large dog bed. The console vents are fantastic, keeps them cool back there. I can't figure out where the vents are in a jump-seat configuration.
I would like to remove the tray located under the rear sit. I don't want anything installed back in place of it.I want the open space when the rear seats are folded up. I have two large dogs and they hate the tray. Will the rear sit ride okay if i remove the tray or will it loose some support?

I asked the same question earlier and got a reply for 2011, would that be the same? Is there any place I could get a schematic, a picture is worth a thousand words.

View 14 Replies2013 f-250 crew cab short box, 6.2 gas with 48k miles. Right rear turn signal does not work...SOMETIMES. I took the brake light assembly off...bulb is good, turned on signal and the bulb will flash so I put it back together then drove a couple miles and then signal quits working again. I can't find any loose/corroded/bad wires at the bulb socket and I can't get the bulb to quit working when I have taillight assembly apart, (trying to replicate failure). There are never any blown fuses either.

I tried wiping all of the sensors clean, and I checked the electrical connections and all seem to be fine.
what I need to do to remove a plow kit on my truck? I bought the truck with the kit already on it and I figured I could get some $$ for it, but I gotta get the darn thing off! I'll be posting pics soon. It looks like it'll come off easy by removing a few bolts, but with my luck I'll completely ruin something.
View 11 RepliesI just bought this truck,2013 f250 CC Lariat 4x4. The sliding rear windows opened and closed 1 time and has never done it again. I have read about the motor and cable setup breaking and needing to be replaced. I do not think that is the issue. I have also read that the channel the window runs in needs to be lubricated on a regular basis. I was going to try that first. What is the recommended lube for these window channels?

View 1 RepliesWe got an F250 in June and had an ARE CX series cap installed on the truck yesterday. We didn't realize the installation of the cap would mean we lost the review camera when the tailgate was removed (DUH). We loved the review camera for hooking up our trailer and are wondering if there is any way to reinstall it on the cap. Or, purchase another camera and integrate it into the existing Ford screen......with the guidance lines?
View 2 RepliesSo I have a 2004 F250 5.4 regular cab 4wd long bed that was bought used with a very heavy Western Pro plow. The truck only has 70K miles and it is equipped with the snow plow package and heavy GVWR package. Since I had no use for the plow, I removed it and all mounting hardware as soon as I got it home. The truck wanders and bounces down the road terribly.
It is tiring to drive and requires total attention. Reading posts on here about "wandering" left me thinking my steering box was probably worn out. I replaced this without any change. I figured that I must have other components needing fixed, but had not had time or money to dig deeper yet.
Now, this morning when leaving work, the truck had accumulated nearly an inch of very heavy, wet snow with a small layer of ice on the hood. Driving home was as if I were in another vehicle. Everything was tight and much less "hopping" when hitting small bumps. So, this leads me to my question. Do you think that simply adding some weight back to the front end, i.e.,: bumper, or brush guard, could be my answer? Or, is this simply covering up a more extensive problem?
I have a F350 2000 crew cab srw with 7.3 diesel. I removed the HID that was installed by previous owner. The factory wiring harness was still intact but now I don't have running lights or dash lights. I still have head lights, brake lights and blinkers... I replaced the head light units with factory replacements......
