I have a 2010 f-250 lariat with a drivers side power fold mirror that does not fold. The part number is 1448007. Do they interchange? My mirror is a Power Fold, heated, extending type.

I just installed a set of power folding mirrors on my 2008 F350. I noticed that the driver side mirror has a longer travel time than the passenger side. How to fix, or why this is like that? Is it normal? watch the video to see what I mean.

Alright so, I've done a lot of research to come across a mirror motor and I found one, problem is I don't have the slightest clue on how to take the morror apart. It attempts to fold then stops. So, I kind of jumped the gun and tried to pop off the main mirror and I cracked it. How to disassemble the mirror.

A fellow ford driver (f150) pulled around a car on a residential street and clipped my mirror. His whole mirror as removed from his white beater truck. My mirror has the bottom plastic housing broken. Power fold and in/out and all glass movements work. How do i fix. Do the housing on the manual fold mirror with signal is the same as the power fold.

08 F-350 Lariat. Folded mirrors in twice today. Second time they would not come back out. After four hours the fold function has not returned. As I read Owner's Manual, if it's a fuse it should take out power to driver's seat . . . correct? All other mirror functions including telescope seem to work normally. So if I've identified the fuse correctly what else could it be? Fold relay? Switch? Where is the fold relay located and how can one test it? What pins on the switch are the fold pins? I just looked at power distribution box schematic. Power fold mirror relay fuse is there. Apparently the only function it has. Better go check it out.

I cant get my rear seat back to fold down anymore. I was on some very rough roads over the weekend and when I went to fold the seat back down the handle doesnt move. Is there a way to fold it without? Its almost like something is jammed which may be from the pounding the truck took over those roads.

The Truck: 2008 F350 Super Duty, Lariat Crew Cab 6.4 Diesel, Off Road package with just under 90K.
The Noise: It sounds like a cross between Morse code ticking (No Morse code message. I thought of that) and the sound a styrofoam cup makes when it rubs against another cup. The noise is fairly loud. Noticeable at standard conversation speaking levels. Doesn't just go away once it starts.
The Apparent Location Of The Noise: Sounds like it's coming from just right of my center fold down cup holders between the driver and passenger sides of the dash.
Process Of Elimination: No set rule for when it starts to happen but it doesn't happen all the time. SEEMS like it happens after a longer trip.
Air conditioning on or off doesn't make it stop. Fan on or off doesn't change anything. Restarting truck at a stop light doesn't change anything.
Varying truck speed doesn't make a difference. Banging on the dash near the sound doesn't make a difference.

My 2008 F250's passenger side mirror will not fold/unfold with the switch. Also the motor continues to run when the switch is moved to fold/unfold the mirrors.

I have the LX570 2010. the left mirror doesn't fold any more. I took it to dealership and he suggested expensive fix for such a small motor rotating the mirror? Can I order the part from somewhere else?

I have a 2000 V6 Passat and last week, when I tried to open the side mirrors from their fold flat position, they would not open. It was cold out (about 20 degrees) and I thought the mirrors might be frozen so I turned on the heated mirrors. They frost was removed from the mirrors, but they still would not open and I manually pushed the mirrors back into their normal location. I can adjust both the driver and passenger mirrors from the inside control knob. I have checked the mirror fuse and its ok. Is there a relay or other fuse that would control the fold flat motor?

Having issues with their mirrors folding in? One of mine makes a popping sound and will not fold in or out. I can hear the motor running, sounds like a gear is out of alignment. Have tried to reposition manually with no luck. Is there a rebuild kit for the internals or will I need the entire mirror assembly?

I'm having a problem with my power mirror switch.
1. The fold flat function doesn't work at all
2. The driver mirror won't move with the switch. No motor sound at all
3. The heated mirror's function doesn't work.
I checked the connections and there fine. It's just a very annoying problem with fog on the mirror's with the weather getting colder now.

The driver's side mirror on my '06 250 (tow, heated, power, signal) got cracked... and of course whoever did it didn't stick around!!! Two questions...

here's the problem. The driver side front power window will only go down and not up. I checked the motor and the master switch with a multimeter and both work just fine. the motor is receiving power and the master switch is sending power. However when i plug the motor back in and re-install it, the window will not go up. Is there some sort of relay that might have gone bad that is not letting the motor raise the window up???

As the title says, I have an intermittent issue with the power window in the driver's door. It always works, with the exception of when it gets really damp during the night. In that case when I get in the truck first thing, the window will go down, but not always up the first few tries.
