I have a 2009 f350 xlt with sync and steering wheel controls that the stereo quit working on and I want to replace and I am having trouble finding the correct one that will work with sync. One of the local auto wreckers has a 2010 f350 lariat with the touch screen that they are willing to let go for a reasonable price. Will that head unit work in my truck without major wiring?

I have used it a few times since getting it a few months ago and then last night I was going to play paintball in the woods and the 4wd would not engage? when i put it in 4wd it would act like the truck is in neutral and then it lurched forward? The front hubs have the option on them to turn, but I never had to turn them before and they do not move when I tried to? What could be causing the 4wd not to function?

View 4 RepliesI own a 1999 F350 CC SRW w/ 7.3L PSD engine. My turn signals stopped working suddenly. I've checked the fuse panel under the dash but it doesn't show any fuse for the turn signals.
My hazards do work although I noticed something very strange. When I tilt the steering column down the hazards stop working and when I tilt the column all the way up they work again. Still no turn signals though.
I have a 2000 F350 4x4 with 7.3L diesel and a manual transmission. While driving home yesterday my gauges (fuel, temp, volts, oil pres) stopped working. Within a couple min the speedometer and the tach also stopped working, but the truck was still running fine. Within a couple miles the engine stopped running, just like I had turned the engine off.
After having it towed home I checked all the fuses, none are blown, but there is no power to fuse #16 (15A, instrument cluster, high beam head lamp). Also in the fuse box under the hood, again, no fuses are blown, but fuse #9 (left head lamp low beam) and #11 (right head lamp low beam) have no power to them.
Having a problem with my truck and I'm stuck. About 9 months ago my 4wd stopped working. Turn the switch and no light or noise. I took a look at fuses and everything was good there. I let it go but now I need 4wd. Today I checked every fuse and all of them were good. I moved to the relays checked them and they were good but for the heck of it replaced them. Checked for power at the pins. The one that needed power had power. Next I went to the switch had 12 volts there. Pulled switch and test with a multimeter and ohms were good. Went. Down to the motor and tested for power there not power to the motor. Is there anything else I'm missing Esof not working. 2002 f350 7.3 auto....
View 2 RepliesI have a 2009 F 350 6.4, fully deleted with a Mini Maxx Tuner , CAC pipe, and CCV mod, other than that the truck is stock. I have put 100,000 miles on the truck and haven't had any real problems but recently that has changed. My 4x4 doesn't work, Traction Control is gone, Tow Haul mode is gone, Cruise Control gone, basically everything controlled by a button is now gone.If it was one of these issues and not everything at once I would check for fuses, broken wires, etc... But, everything stopped working at once. Not having traction control or cruise control, but I tow heavy all the time so tow haul is a must as it's the only thing that engages the engine brake.
View 1 RepliesVery strange things happening with 2009 F350 Gas, first the heater blower only is now working on high, progressively has gotten worse, low settings started not working a while ago, now only high works. Just recently the strangest thing, start the truck OK, turn on radio OK, turn lights on then the radio goes off. Will bring it to dealer in a day or two if I can't figure this one out.
View 3 RepliesIts and 09, I can hear a relay click under the dash. It has gotten really hot since i bought it in sept to the point where I had to turn it off because I thought it was going to burn my bottom. I am guessing its not an easy fix.

View 5 RepliesSo I was traveling thru the grapevine on the 5 Fwy and no problems. Made it to the top didn't over heat. Then all of a sudden it lost power. Pulled over and it stopped running. Won't start. Fuel is pumping, I took off the fuel filter and turned ignition on and it filled up.

View 1 RepliesLast week I noticed my fogs stopped working. So I figured there may be a chance that they were burnt out. Hooked them straight to a battery and they work. Next I checked power at the plugs and no power. Checked the fuse and blown. The only fuse I had on me was a 25 amp fuse. Big mistake. Smoke started coming from the fuse box (palm to the forehead). Well it didn't blow the fuse but still nothing. I got power at the headlight switch and started tracing wires. From what I had read there is relay but it is inside the fuse box? Is this correct. I'm trying to pin point where the problem lies. There aren't any burnt up wires behind the fuse box and now I'm at a loss.
View 7 RepliesAll my door locks stopped working in my 2008 F250 Crew Fx4. Locks do not work from a driver or pass. door, key fob, or door keyless pad. When you hit any of the switches you can hear a relay type sound in the SJB.
There was some sort of failure because we could smell it. But I am not sure if it was the SJB that failed or a wire between the SJB and the lock motors.
Looking for a wiring diagram of the door lock circuit? And/or know how to troubleshoot to find the bad wire or if it is the SJB that failed.
Ok I've done some searching and reading and really haven't found a answer. My 99 f250 sd 4x4 v10 with a automatic transmission stock hubs with ESOF. I checked the fuses under steering wheel. All good. Showing no error codes. Replaced vacuum lines. I've been driving it for some time only using the lock outs on the hub. Whats different is there is no light on dash stating 2wd, 4wd or low. And when manually locked they don't move in snow. new hubs? I don't really care about switching with ESOF I just need 4WD for plowing!
View 11 RepliesOn my 05 350, I noticed the other day that my 4wd wasn't working, when I needed it of course. I quick test this morning and I discovered my PS hub is not locking in. I've read a lot of posts about it being the opposite, the auto portion causing a problem. In my case, it won't lock in in auto or manually turning. I can lock it in, spin the wheel and the axle shaft isn't turning. The pressure is the same as the other side, not too loose or too stiff. Can I pull the hub assembly off and rebuild it? I watched a video about that, but not sure on how my issue would allow me to work on it.

View 8 RepliesI'm having a little problem with my F350. I've had it for about a month now and the cluster had no problems or whatsoever. Then, I drove it today and I noticed that the instrument cluster is not working at all. The lights work, but the gauges wouldn't move. When I turn the key before starting it the chime is beeping faster than it usually did before and it wouldn't shut off unless I close the door. It also only indicates the airbag and battery light. I checked all the fuses and they were good especially #15 or #16 can't remember it right now.
I don't know if its related, but this past saturday I was messing with the overhead instrument cluster for the gas mileage and all that. I soldered some of the relays back on and that was it. I started the truck after I did all that, but everything was still working. It's been bugging me all day today.
