I was wondering how do you remove the cup holder part of the console dose it just pop off or are there metal clips or screws hidden some how?

View 1 Replies08 F-350 Lariat. Folded mirrors in twice today. Second time they would not come back out. After four hours the fold function has not returned. As I read Owner's Manual, if it's a fuse it should take out power to driver's seat . . . correct? All other mirror functions including telescope seem to work normally. So if I've identified the fuse correctly what else could it be? Fold relay? Switch? Where is the fold relay located and how can one test it? What pins on the switch are the fold pins? I just looked at power distribution box schematic. Power fold mirror relay fuse is there. Apparently the only function it has. Better go check it out.

I've got a 2008 Ford F250 Superduty Crew Cab. My problem is that the center console of the front bench seat is loose. I keep it folded down nearly all the time and any pressure on the front left corner causes the rear right corner to pivot up.

View 3 RepliesI cant get my rear seat back to fold down anymore. I was on some very rough roads over the weekend and when I went to fold the seat back down the handle doesnt move. Is there a way to fold it without? Its almost like something is jammed which may be from the pounding the truck took over those roads.

My mirror has the bottom plastic housing broken. Power fold and in/out and all glass movements work. How do i fix. Do the housing on the manual fold mirror with signal is the same as the power fold.

View 2 RepliesI have a 2012 Prius V, and somehow A tin of Altoids has fallen behind the drawer, (hidden drawer) of the center console. How to remove the drawer to access behind it?
I can't see any catch or release to trigger releasing the drawer. I also think accessing it by opening up the whole console from the top is risky as the EV, ECO, and PWR mode buttons are wired into it.
The Truck: 2008 F350 Super Duty, Lariat Crew Cab 6.4 Diesel, Off Road package with just under 90K.
The Noise: It sounds like a cross between Morse code ticking (No Morse code message. I thought of that) and the sound a styrofoam cup makes when it rubs against another cup. The noise is fairly loud. Noticeable at standard conversation speaking levels. Doesn't just go away once it starts.
The Apparent Location Of The Noise: Sounds like it's coming from just right of my center fold down cup holders between the driver and passenger sides of the dash.
Process Of Elimination: No set rule for when it starts to happen but it doesn't happen all the time. SEEMS like it happens after a longer trip.
Air conditioning on or off doesn't make it stop. Fan on or off doesn't change anything. Restarting truck at a stop light doesn't change anything.
Varying truck speed doesn't make a difference. Banging on the dash near the sound doesn't make a difference.
2001 F350. I need to take the face plate off of my in dash cup holder and put it on the new one that I bought. Ford charges a premium price on the Dark Parchment or Dark Buckskin that I have. So the dealership I bought the new one from told me its possible to change out the face plate.

They were investigating a sticky caliper at the time and said they believe heat from failing bearing caused that issue. I figured I'd do a little looking for parts pricing just incase. View 3 RepliesI was just in the middle of doing the V Code leaf spring swap and noticed a broke part where the u-bolts sit and what looks to be attached to the trac bar. The piece is broken in half and I am not sure how this happened or when. The piece is welded to the axle.

Sunday I bought a 2001 f250/5.4 to replace my 91 f250. I didnt drive it yesterday, but this morning on my drive to work the heater was very weak, it seemed to blow warm for the most part, but was barely pushing air even on high. I flipped it over to A/C to see if it blew any harder and it did. Does the blower motor need replace? if so why does the AC blow harder than the heater?

Failing that do we know the name and part number of a seal manufacturer whom I might be able to source from in Dubai? Ford don't make the seals them selves so there must be an alternate source for these things surely?
I'm trying to locate the part number (and a replacement) for the plastic piece that covers the top of the tailgate (when its shut) next to the step. It's about a 12 to 16 inch long piece of plastic which has some broken tabs on it, so everytime I drop the tailgate, it either flies out or starts to... I checked the fische online and I don't even see it in the picture. I did find some one-piece parts called "tailgate spoiler cap" but I didn't find any to fit a 2014 F-250 with the step on the tailgate. Should I just tell the wife to go hot-glue it ?
