Where the battery junction box is? I've been all over under the hood, and dash, and not seeing it. It's not small, since it's full of relays and fuses, and should have a large wire bundle going to it.
View 7 RepliesThe 5amp fuse 15, (Stop lite switch, GEM, PCM, 4WABS, Brake shift Interlock, Cluster 7 PCM-Keep Alive memory), is drawing 2.7 amps with key off.
The battery has gone dead two times overnight. The truck will start and run. I don't know where to proceed from this point to isolate the problem.
I am trying to diagnose my fuel system, but I cant seem to find the fuel pump relay. My truck is an 2004 f250 crew cab work truck with 5.4L. it seems that the relay can be mounted anywhere from behind the radio or in the engine compartment as well as built in to the fuse box under the steering wheel.

View 6 Replies2004 F250 v10 xtl 260xxx. Started off by using my remote start, truck started up ran for about 5 sec then shut off, then restart itself and shut back off. When I manually started it, it ran fine. I noticed my battery light was on and as I was driving it would flicker. First thing I did when I got home was clean all my connections to see if that worked. Battery light still on, checked my volts on my battery and they were at about 11.8 with a slow but steady drop while truck was idling.then checked my alt, that too was at about 11.9 with a stead drop.
Alt was only about 7 months old and I had a warranty on it so I had it replaced at Napa and had them test it there. Good alt. Installed the new alt charged up my battery and turned it over. Battery light still on and flickering. Checked all my wires for corrosion, checked all my grounds. Everything checked out. Checked my battery again 12.4 with the truck off, cranked it over and it was back at 11.9 with a steady drop and almost the same reading with the alt. I replaced the battery as well yesterday, seeing how it was about 7 years old.
I was driving and all of a sudden the radio died, battery light came on, Power windows and interior lights died, gauges died speedometer went all the way up to 100. The Head lights, turn signals and heater work. When I got home I opened the hood and the battery was boiling.

View 1 RepliesBesides the window tag and the door tag, where are other VINs located? The VIN tag in the window looks suspect and there is no door tag. (I covered the first 11 digits of the VIN.) Also, I found a tag on the front pass side of the bed that I've never seen before (mounted between the bed and the cab). What this is?

View 2 RepliesAs luck would have it I'm leaving out in the morn for 600 miles , Noticed a nail in my L/F tire yesterday went too Goodyear they pilled the tire patched it inside.. Then this morn went to fuel up my ABS light stayed on .. Did this last yr. went off after a few days but since the tire was pulled maybe its a bad connection ??? ..Jut want to be sure and scan codes
I want to scan it now to check and reset any codes But looked under the Drivers side dash can not find the OBD connection port looked on Passenger side nothing there either.. Looked under hood around fuse box did not see anything that kind of looked like a port with a cap I'd assume they cap them if under the hood .. Its a 05 S/D 6.0 locate this OBD11 port
2004 super duty crew long bed 2wd, v10 auto SLT.
Manual says not in fuse block.
Looked behind radio, nothing, not even a space or the blue one there.
There are some on the firewall, driver side not marked. No pink wire.
Where else??
Where is the door chime? I just want to remove it. My truck is a 2014 e350.
View 1 RepliesProblems with the Parking Assist/Reverse Sensing System. I have found the troubleshooting that everyone has done very useful. I have a 2007 F350 Lariat Crew Cab with problems with the Park Assist. Whenever I put it in reverse the system shuts off( Off Light illuminates). I have checked the wiring harness and all connections, Parking switch, and Reverse Sensors. I have done everything except check the Parking Assist Module. My maintenance DVD tells me that it is located behind the glove box. I cannot find it in there anywhere. Where it is located. The trucks manufacture date is June 2006....

The ones that turn the light and off when you open and close the doors.
It use to be switches on the old trucks and cars.
But on my 2006 F-250 I can find anything that seems to do that function, nor is anything mentioned in the repair manuel.
Trying to find ground wire location on my 99 f250 super duty with the 5.4 triton I didn't unbolt it myself. Going to be doing the big 3 upgrade soon and would like to use the factory ground spots.
View 13 Replies2001 F350 7.3l with 4" exhaust exit after axle. Truck came with no spare tire or spare tire mounting hardware. Looking at the spare location the 4" exhaust looks to be in the way. Any other location for the spare tire? Thinking the only option is to toss it in the bed. Any down side to exit the exhaust before the rear axle
View 9 RepliesWell I have a 2011F250 powerstroke. I recently put a 5" down pipe back exhaust on it. I ordered a 5" to 7" tip and it came in today. Problem is that it's 18" long so the only way it would work is if it exits at the corner of the truck
View 7 RepliesMy 2005 F250 started stuttering, lurching, having wild swings in rpms, nearly dying at stop signs, no pickup when stepping on the gas, then taking off like a bat outta hell. After reading many, many posts here and on other sites, I have concluded that the most likely culprit is the ICP sensor, so I picked one up today (along with a EBP sensor - another story). It appears from the many posts that I have read that Ford/Navistar have frequently changed the location of these sensors. My question is: Where are the ICP and EBP sensors located on the 2005s (actual manufacture date is 07/2004)?

Reason being I have two very large dogs that own the back seat. It's basically a large dog bed. The console vents are fantastic, keeps them cool back there. I can't figure out where the vents are in a jump-seat configuration.
I need a replacement driver side door, towing mirror for a 2011 Ford F250 SuperDuty with turn signal, heated, electrically adjustable manual-extend and manual fold options. The truck VIN number is 1FT7X2B67BEC96261. The truck also has an Outside-Air-Temperature indication which is what I'm not sure about. It is my understanding that the Outside-Air-Temperature sensor may be in the side mirror. Looking for any info on the temperature sensor located on this truck? I found an aftermarket mirror while I can not afford Ford. However, the aftermarket mirror ad says it does not have Outside-Air-Temperature and I would like to keep that working.
