I've got about a 1 inch clean cut (looks like a knife did it) in the passenger seat bottom on my 2004 F350. Any tips on fixing this before it gets worse? I've thought about super glue, but I don't think that would look too good and will be tough to get right.

I noticed today my ranch hand bumped is hitting my fenders, when I originally installed it there was about a 1/2" gap.
All the bolts are tight, however it appears the mount that's attached to the frame is flexing and becoming weak as I can grab the bumper and rock it when it used to be rock solid.
Is there anything I can buy that will reinforce the bumper mounts that are connected to the frame to support this bumper???
Right now it's bolted up with 4 bolts on each side and no additional hardware.

2012 F150 King Ranch broken sunroof track TS
Does the ASI-44420 broken sunroof track TSB apply to 2012 F150? I see a lot of complaints from 2011 & 2012 users online, however having trouble locating a TSB. The fix for 2009-2015 is the same, so my initial thought was the TSB should cover all those years as well.

Just wanting to know what might be wrong truck will not go into 4x4. All fuses in panel looked good. Light on dash is not coming on was working last weekend just fine. Have the hubs in lock position not auto.

"2004 Ford F250 FX4 for sale. 5.4l v8, automatic transmission, 4x4, 152,000 miles. Truck runs and drives good but needs a rear drive shafts due to a vibration above 50mph."
Are their any known issues with these? I am guessing it is a u-joint or something, not the driveshaft.

How many gear shifts I should have on my 6.0 2004 super duty, Ive counted 5 but it seems not to be in overdrive, I'm running a little over 2000 rpms at 65 mph?

I have a 2004 F350 with the V-10 with a Fleetwood motor home on it. 46000 miles.The fuel pump started acting up and i have low fuel pressure. after a lot of testing i replaced the pump and all the hoses on top of the tank. of course you have to pull the tank to do this.
Nothing was touched to my knowledge that has to do with the ABS system.
After everything was put back together and i started the motor. the ABS light came on as usual during the pre-check then went off, and after a couple of seconds came back on, and stays on. it does this each time its started.
I read the most common problem is the rear speed sensor i tested it and it measured .95 oms so i replace it. the new one measures 1.8 oms.
Light is still on. so today i will be testing the front. to insure they are good. The fuses tested OK. My question is what else should i be checking?

I just picked up a 04 F250, bought it over the internet and the only thing (so far) that has stumped me is there is no PATS key, just a silver key. Truck starts and runs fine. The key in cylinder chime is on even with out the key in, so here are my two thoughts
1) I know the truck was stolen in the past and the system was disabled, new ignition went is and PATS is gone. Is this even possible?
2) I have to dig under the dash and steering column and see whats going on under there.
Any thoughts?

I have a 04 f250 with aprox 95k on it 5.4L I knew I was over mileage for a due oil change I haven't been driving it much it crossed my mind, as I am usually very adamant about changing fluids. I went to check my oil and only a smudge of oil on the dip stick. I know this is not good but the truck runs fine, no noises, no knocking, not a chatter from the valve train. Oil pressure was good everything seemed fine did I get lucky? I know it wasn't good I am not going to let that happen again everyone think I dodged the bullet?

I have a 04 ford f250 superduty... I tried to use my 4x4 today and the front wheels would not engage using the ESOF. The light comes on in the dash saying its in 4x4. i do not believe i have a vacuum leak because it doesn't switch over to the automatic setting for defrost. what else could it possibly be I'm stumped at this point.

My early 04 runs great until I tow my 24ft rv any distance over a 2 or 3 hour period. When I exit the eway to fuel up or take a break it will stumble and this last time it quit running all together. I use my scanguage, all Temps good while towing never go faster then 65mph, new batteries etc. I had it towed to a local diesel repair shop that I have used before (all the 6.0 problems, oil cooler, egr hpfp, ficm).. When I Went to see them a day later, told me truck started right up and ran great, pulled a few minor codes, none that would have caused my issues. Scanner based testing passed air management, injector balance, all cylinders even.
When they originally scanned, it did show multiple docs for injector contributing, egr insufficient flow, 2 glow plugs and cam/crank sensor, but after cool down again started up and ran great. Truck has 200k on it. Last oil analysis showed internal engine in great shape. I trust this shop and this is not the first 6.0 they have worked on, I am just learning now of taking the rv on the road now. It would be difficult to hook rv up and just runaround to try and replicate what happened and be able to get to any repair facility. Truck is stock with exception of 4 inch exhaust,turbo back, no tuner etc. Also shop and I checked ICP and it is good, quarter volt. It was replaced with pigtail a few years ago.I also have the blue spring upgrade .Just drove to town and back and it runs perfect!

4x4 will not engage. 4x4 light on dash does not come on. Can not hear motor switching into 4x4. Check fuses under dash all looked good.

My 2004 F350 6.0L v8 has a weird shake when I get between 45 and 55 mph. Doesn't feel like its the tires, feel like the engine. I think I might have the #5 glo plug out. Is that it or could something else be wrong? If it is this how bad is it to drive on.

2004 f250 6.0 4x4 no throttle at all, no cel, idles and runs just fine just no throttle, had a diesel mechanic look at it and he couldn't pull any codes, where to start, checked all wiring, checked connections, changed the EBP sensor and tube (read that was a fix multiple times) no change

On dads 04 f350 the 4wd first wasn't shifting to 4lo. Would do 4hi and 2wd fine. Then motor on t-case went bad. Replaced motor 2wd and 4hi still good still no 4lo. Then just 2wd so we unplugged t-case motor and power probed motor got it to do 2wd, 4hi, and 4lo. So we thinking bad dash switch but power probed it and its working fine. So we r thinking VP4C3F-14B128-A/ chassis computer bad just behind/above glovebox. R there any test we can do to confirm its bad? We called local junk yards to see bout getting one, nobody had one. If this is indeed bad where is cheapest get one? What all years use this certain chassis computer??

2004 S/D 4x4 V10 F-250 72,000 miles. Replaced Battery about 6 months ago. I have tested the Battery today and it's fine. I had replaced starter at same time. The issue I'm having now is that the engine will not start. Behaves as if the Battery has low charge state, Which is not the case. Starter engages and will "crank" for a turn or two and thats it. like low charge on battery. I don't know what to look for next, except pull the starter and test it. Fluids at Level.

Well, I've seen a lot of posts for this but all seem to be geared to 4WD trucks.
I have an 04 250 KR 2WD. I get a sensation of popping/clunking in the LF area when I stop and start like the front axle is moving. Also, at about 50MPH, I get an oscillating hum/vibration in the same area. I've already checked everything and it's all tight, as far as I can tell.
When having the fuel filters changed, I noticed the truck "drooping" on the right side. Coincidence? I have already replaced and repacked the bearing on the LF wheel.

The dome light in my F250 workd finr unless you enter thru the pass side door it will not come on. Where is the door dome light switch located and is it hard to change? Best place to get a new one it thats the problem.
