I have seen plenty of the king ranch models that have the rear Captains chairs. My question is, I have a 03 Lariat Crew Cab w/ a bench seat, however, I would like to remove the bench and put 2 captains chairs in the back. Is this possible without lots of interior body modifications?
View 14 RepliesGot an 03 f250 supercab, and looking to get rid of the old front bench seat for 2 regular front seats and installing a big middle console, will this be kinda hard? I got in my truck now the driver seat is seperate from the 2 seater bench seat and it has the flip down middle console to where you can flip it up for somebody to sit in the middle or flip it down for the cup holders etc.. I want to get rid of that and just have the 2 front seats and an big middle console. I think some of the 1998-2003 f150 come with this set up

View 1 RepliesAfter a 7 year love affair with our 2005 6.0L Excursion, we bought another 6.0L today - a 2006 F250 Crew Cab. It came with front buckets/console, and the used car lot (all diesel trucks...) was nice enough to let us swap the seats out with another 2006 F250 Crew Cab on the lot that had the front captains' chairs with the center seat.
Their upholstery guy did the work with the captains' chairs, but for liability reasons they wouldn't bolt the jumpseat in, since the truck we bought didn't have the studs in place. So, they sent it home with us and we're faced with putting it in. No problem, right?
Well... we found the place for the bolts to go, and thought we were home free. BUT... (see photo) - what have we done wrong?? The first photo (driver's side bolt of center seat) is fine, but the passenger side bolt hole is too close to where the front passenger seat needs to bolt in.
Looking to swap out my center console for a center jump seat in my 2014 F350 xlt. Mines has gray cloth interior. Can this be done? Need to swap their seat for a console?

View 2 RepliesI have a 2003 f250 4x4 with a 5.4 motor the automatic trans is shot. I can get a replacement trans from 2000 f250 4x4 with the v10 motor. I tried my best to research it bell housing supposed to be the same so it should fit. But I'm not sure what they changed in those years internally or electronically.
View 2 RepliesI cant get my rear seat back to fold down anymore. I was on some very rough roads over the weekend and when I went to fold the seat back down the handle doesnt move. Is there a way to fold it without? Its almost like something is jammed which may be from the pounding the truck took over those roads.
View 3 RepliesI am upgrading an F150 w/ pass-through console to an F250 w/ jump seats. Have not gone to see the truck in person and am wondering where the rear air vents are located?
Reason being I have two very large dogs that own the back seat. It's basically a large dog bed. The console vents are fantastic, keeps them cool back there. I can't figure out where the vents are in a jump-seat configuration.
We have a 2013 F150 Lariat. When you raise the rear seat bottoms the entire floor board opens into a really large nice flat space. By removing the storage tub from my 2015 SD Lariat will that provide the same results as the F150 ?

I have two large dogs and they hate the tray. Will the rear sit ride okay if i remove the tray or will it loose some support?

View 11 Replies2003 F250 super cab, 335,000 miles. the seats are all in good condition except the drivers seat bottom, no rips or tears but the outer bolster area is worn. Looked at new replacement and no go. Is there a decent cover or a aftermarket replacement that looks good? The truck is not worth high end stuff, just would like it too look better

how do i get those out without breaking them, and the bolts towards the back of the bench seat, i dont even see where they are! i know there are 12 total. trying to remove to replace my carpet
Can I take the tranny out of a v10 and put it in my 7.3L Powerstroke?
Both are 1999 f250's.
From what I've read they should both be 4r100's.
