Opened one of the rear doors on my crew cab and there must have been several gallons of water sloshing around inside the door. Shook the door a few times and water started draining out both corners of the door seam. After about an hour (I told you it was a lot of water) it seems to have stopped draining. Now I'm wondering how long this has been going on and what the inside of the door looks like by now.
View 6 RepliesI do believe my a/c drain is plugged and wetting my passenger side carpet with water. I pulled my floor mat the other day to vacuum and noticed the carpet was wet underneath the weather tech floor mat. No water on top of the mat. It must be leaking down inside of firewall and under the mat.
My guess is I need to find the drain hose and un-plug it with weed cutter line or re-route the tube. I leave for a work trip tomorrow and don't have time to take it to the stealer. I have to run A/C the whole time so I know it will get wet again. I have today and tomorrow to figure it out.
PS - no rain here for months so I know it isn't the door seal leak. I have had the a/c on 24/7 all summer.

I hear water sloshing around behind the dashboard on driver side and when I make turns to the right I can hear what sounds like water boiling and/or steaming.
I am think I need to either unclog the the heater core lines...or replace the heater core entirely.
I do have a little bit of water on the floor of my passenger side...but not a lot and it is clear water.
Hearing a sloshing scraping thumping sound coming from their 36 gallon tank under hard braking accelerating? It's loudest when the tank is between 200 and 150 miles to empty, I checked the spare tire and its tight, haven't had a chance to crawl under and look around yet though, I think something inside came loose. 2013 XLT.

View 4 RepliesHaving the problem my RC 350 has: after a car wash or rain, water seems to stay inside the door. If I roll down the window and roll it back up, the outside surface of the window is soaked. It seems like water is trapped in the door for several days. This can't be normal!?!?

View 5 Replies2009 Toyota Camry LE 4 cylinder. Our car got flooded last week. Water only got inside to the floor mats and we vacuumed it out. Now the car wont start. It starts and then dies right away. Only when I remove the key from ignition and restart it comes on and goes off again. I was thinking about changing out the ignition module with key. Checked all fuses and they are OK.

Looks like the ones I would get when I smoked many years ago. My Boss has a 2011 F150 ECO and we have two others in our company. We were talking at work today and it seems all 4 trucks are having this problem.
View 14 RepliesMy 2010 F150 super crew cab is rusting from the inside out on both cab corners. I purchased my truck about 3 years ago with 75,000 miles on it. After about 3 months I noticed the 3rd brake light was leaking. I went to the dealer but they wouldn't warranty it due to the mileage. They did acknowledge that there was a problem with the 3rd brake lamp leaking and was willing to sell me new parts. So I repaired that ASAP. I don't how long is was leaking prior to that. Fast forward a couple years later the corners are starting to bubble. I am assuming this what caused the cab corners to rust.
View 4 RepliesIt is finally getting hot here in Texas and I turned my AC on Max the other day. It has a sound like there is something flapping around inside the duct work or something like that. Like a flag whipping in the wind. I tried feet, defrost open and closed loop etc and the noise is always there. It is really annoying when it is on high speed. Also, I did not notice the noise during the winter. Is there some where that leaves or something like that can get into that might cause this type of noise. The truck is a 2010 FX4.

View 1 RepliesSince most of us on this forum drive pick-up trucks, we're all accustomed to them riding, well, like a truck. We fully expect them to bounce around a little bit, right? However, one should not expect to be annoyed by noises inside the cab. For instance, my passenger seat bounces around like a baby's bouncy chair, even when the road is smooth. Surely, I'm not the only one noticing this! How do I shut-up my passenger seat???

We all know the front door speakers on these are horrible. I am changing them out all the time under warranty for being blown. In doing so I decided it was time for a video on how to remove the door panel without damage to get at the speakers and swap in aftermarket etc.

I own a 2011 lariat with 500 miles. We have had several days of rain and I am getting alot of rust spots on my driveway always below and inside the right front tire. None in the rear or left front. Dealer said not to worry about it after they looke at the area. They said it is the new metal forming surface rust. There is a skid plate which seems to cover wherever the rust is starting. Should I demand that area be undercoated.

View 14 RepliesI have a 2010 f150 supercrew 4x4 with 8.8 3:55 nls rear differential. my driver side tire has a wobble to it it is wearing the inside of the tire. i have replaced the driver axle shaft with new ford oem shaft put in new axle bearings and seals on both sides and have replaced the spyder gears and i still have the wobble I don't know what is going on. the wobble is more pronounced when the tire and rim are bolted to the shaft only without the drum and caliper attached. with caliper and rotor attached i still have the wobble just not as bad however the tire wobbles going down the road more noticeable between 20-45 mph.
View 13 RepliesI washed my truck for the first time tonight, and while doing so, I noticed what looks like water got into the third brake light on top of the cab. Is that a common issue and is there an easy fix? I've seen foam inside at the very bottom of the light fixture, it kind of looks like there are two housings though, with the foam in between. I checked the inside headliner, and everything there is dry.

I could see several places where the floor meets the sides where there is daylight. Is road spray something I need to worry about there? Do I need to seal it up tight or leave it alone?
