Looking for the wiring diagram for the 4X4 switch that is connected to the back on of the coin holder on a non-4X4? It is an 8 pin plug but only has 5 wires connected to it on my 2012. Can you get 12V switch power here?

Everything I find online only shows 2-3 wires in each sub connector, nothing with all wires and colors, and what they do. and of course the factory service manuals no longer work on my new computer. the switch and associated wires went up in smoke 2 hours ago, and this truck is my only means of transportation rite now. what i need is headlight wiring with colors so i can temporary hook up a toggle switch to have lights until the new switch and connectors come in next week. I went to pull the switch and connectors out of the parts truck, but of course that does not have fog lights so it uses different switch and connections.

View 1 RepliesI just picked up my 2007 F350 as a replacement for my 2003 F350 (still have the 2003). I really like the uplifter switch option on the truck, I can normally figure things out but I am one of those people who is electrically challenged (home and auto)and also am one who does not wish to butcher the new ride (same for the home)to gain an education in the art of wiring. I would like to reinstall my headache rack lights on this truck as they are needed for winter work. I was in my truck manual and the info for wiring is weak and the website did not respond nor did my email to ford. I have found the wire harness but it is not tagged as a pair/color to switch. I have the lights already grounded to the rack, so I am thinking I just need the hot wire from the switch. Looking for the color code for positive and ground for the switches.

View 3 RepliesLooking for a source for a wiring diagram for the 2003/4 f350 instrument cluster, specifically the wiring/connectors to the gauges? A link to a PDF file would be nice. I would like to try and disconnect the PCM control to the transmission temperature and engine temperature and drive the gauges from my own sensors to bypass the non-linear behavior that ford decided was in our best interest. I am NOT interested in installing any more gauges, just want to control the ones already present with my own signals. It is possible that these gauges are all addressable devices on a common bus, instead of individual controls.
View 8 RepliesLooking for a wiring diagram for a F-150 XLT LARIAT 5.8L 4BBL, all the books I have looked at show the wiring for this year with fuel injection and this truck came with a 351W with a Holley 600 4BBL, I have a few wire's in the engine compartment that melted away all the insulation, they are located close to where the harness passes the firewall before the ignition module. Is this a common problem on old models ?. Need a clear copy of the correct diagram for a f-150 1987 with carburetor, how I can get a copy so I can fix this problem before it gets worse.
View 3 RepliesI am curious if it is possible to make a stand alone controller for the electric shift transfer case in a 2000 F-350?
The reason I ask is, this is swapped into a 4x4 conversion in a van and I would like the transfer case to work like the factory, but I don't want to swap over the whole GEM module. I have the high to low and low to high shift relays and wiring, the selector switch from the dash.
I know that powering up the relays will shift the transfer case, but the GEM module tells when the relays need to shut off, and that is where I am not sure what to do. I am assuming that the other plug on the shift motor (6 pin plug) is the sensor that tells the GEM module where the shift is at.
What needs to be done (with a bank of relays).....

View 3 RepliesNeed excess to a wiring diagram schematic for a 2011 f150 ecoboost 4x4 as I need to check what powers up the dash on the 2011 ecoboost as well as other wiring, I have one that had damage on the front end with the battery exploding everywhere, the truck did run and drive and the only difference between than and now was that it was water washed under the hood to clean off the battery acid, it did run shortly after it was washed, but after repairs it will not start, as in not turn over the starter and not power up the dash, its as if there isn't any power coming up to the dash as the dash will not light up or power up the gauges when the key is turned on, or it's not recognizing the key. We took it to a ford dealer to scan it and the tech said it would not link to the OBD scanner and said to check for power at the computer and if there was power that it might be the PCM, we have put in a new PCM, no difference, changed out the BCM (fuse box on right kick panel), no difference, we took the under hood wiring out/untapped it all and checked for damage, no damage, still nothing...

What the plug number/pigtail is for the "off road/hill decent" round buttons on the raptor upfitter console? I don't want to spend money for the harness when I only need one connector. The tiny pins on the switch are too small.
