I am a new owner of a 2012 used f-150 5.0,I had a 07 f-150 5.4..07 had OD (overdrive) turn off button ,2012 has a tow haul button,,is that basically the same thing as OD switch??
View 3 RepliesI am looking at installing a CB in my 2012 F150. This thread isn't electronics based, there is already a sub forum for that. This thread is about radio placement. I have a 2012 f150 XLT that I special ordered... meaning I got the front buckets with the center console. I have an old SBE Sidebander IV that was my grandfather's that I am going to swing by the CB shop this week to get checked out. If everything is a go, I will go with that. So, this is a big radio fromm the 70's, not the little tiny things that are sold today.
So, whats a good location? Vertical on the front of the console maybe?
Looking for the wiring diagram for the 4X4 switch that is connected to the back on of the coin holder on a non-4X4? It is an 8 pin plug but only has 5 wires connected to it on my 2012. Can you get 12V switch power here?

View 7 RepliesI have the subject system in my car. US Spec IS350 RWD F-Sport. The manual says the on/off switch is to the left of the steering wheel on the lower part of the dash. I have no such switch in that location.... Where is PCS on/off switch.

My phone was charged full so I reached to disconnect the car charger and the tip fell off the charger and shorted out my cigarette lighter socket. My owners manual does not show where the fuse is located in the fuse box? It does not mention the "lighter fuse" by name......
I called the Ford Dealership parts department where I purchased my Lariat and was told I he could not nor would not tell me which fuse is blown. Everything else seems to work. Haven't tried my sync lately, better do that. Where the fuse is? My fuse box is inside engine compartment by the radiator.
my high beam switch works if I hold the switch in the forward position, but it won't stay on when I let go. Is there a fix without having to replace the switch?

View 3 RepliesI have a 2009 f150 fx4 it will not blow cold air or heat on any setting. I have replaced the resistor and it stopped working again if i smack the black box the resistor is in it will work again. My question is where is the blower motor and how hard of a job is it to change. I just ordered the motor.
View 2 Replies2009 F250 Super Duty 4X4 auto lock hubs not working. Indicator lights on dash come on but will only go into 4 wheel drive when hubs are locked manually. Vacuum is present at lower of the two vacuum lines when engine is running. I attach the lower line to the module, rotate switch to 4X4 high or low and module doesn't allow vacuum to reach upper nipple. Which fuse operates this module?

View 1 RepliesI have added the upfitter switches to my FX4 but used all of the switches for accessories. Need to start using the round buttons but don't know the plug number/pigtail for round buttons.
What the plug number/pigtail is for the "off road/hill decent" round buttons on the raptor upfitter console? I don't want to spend money for the harness when I only need one connector. The tiny pins on the switch are too small.
So I am receiving this notification when I turn my switch on to just have my radio on. I don't have a reason to believe that the battery is bad as I just bought the truck from a dealer last Thursday. Searches come up it is a known glitch in the safety feature that cannot be disabled and is happening with good batteries.

View 3 RepliesMy wife's 2010 Lariat, has a problem with the heater switch. Its stuck in one speed.
Also the rear defogger switch doesn't light up. We don't know if the switch to it is just bad, OR if the whole system is bad.
Was also wondering if the blend door would be bad??
