View 2 RepliesMy uncle has an 05 F150 extended cab. When he bought it he put his license plate in the rear window until he could get some bolts for it. When it was there it fell between the back of the rear seat and the back of the cab. Currently he has one plate on the rear, but is worried he will get stopped for not having a front plate installed. So he knew I am an FTE member and I could find out how to remove the seat back. I have not tried to remove it nor seen if I could reach it.
View 4 RepliesI am looking at using a 2009 F150 XLT to rig up a soil sampling truck. I was hoping to remove the front-passenger and front-centre seat to make room for a probe that will go through the floor into the soil. As I was looking through articles to see if this was possible I read that some newer models dont make this easy, as there are air bag sensors and seat belt sensors that screw up the process. Before going out to look at the truck and make an offer, I was wondering - if there are any tips for removing these seats.

View 1 RepliesI have a 2010 Ford Raptor and lately I have been hearing some rattles coming from the back seat. I am about 99% sure it's from the rear window... Not positive, but when I listen for the sound that's where it comes from. It's very faint on normal road and rattles after every bump or pothole I hit. I am still under warranty but I don't want to take it to ford unless I have to. I have spent hours on end looking for solutions online but I can't find anything that's my exact problem.
View 4 RepliesHopped into my truck last night after unlocking with the key fob, the easy exit is turned off, and the drivers seat was rolled all the way back and lowered. Mirror might have been off its mark too. Seat back was fine, not reclined. The seat change position like this? Never happened before or after, software? Bumped stuck adjustment switch, other???? Doubt having key on the same frequency and did it for fun as my laptop was in plain view and not stolen...

View 2 RepliesHow to remove the spacer from the rear-end, spring and axle housing. If so, would it be the best to remove one at time etc. Must they be re-located below the axle or totally removed. I don't have a hoist to work from only floor jacks.
View 14 Replies2011 F150 Screw FX4 drivers seat squeaks. Its in the bottom. It happens when you go over bumps. It doesn't do it all the time, but you can sometimes make it stop by moving the seat forward or back.
View 3 RepliesI want to install seat covers in my new 2012 screw, and I was wondering if there is a way to fold down the seat backs of the rear seat. It would definitely make the installation easier. The dealer unfortunately had no idea. I looked and tried, but have not been successful.
View 11 RepliesI have a 2011 F-150 Super Crew and have had to replace the back up camera due to a malfunction. Once the dealer replaced it under warranty I was no longer able to get all the options that the previous camera had. Since then the 2nd camera went bad and I just had it replaced again. This new camera still is missing 2 of the options the original camera had. The dealer now tells me that they must have been deleted off the software on the replacement cameras. They were unable to verify that through Ford though.
View 6 RepliesWhile I have routinely seen a little fluid seep from the bottom/back of a Rear Diff, I have never seen it from the front where the drive shaft enters.....until I looked under my '12 F150 yesterday. Have any of you had this problem on your truck? It is at 86,000 miles. Mostly highway, with some 3000lb towing on weekends. I may have until failure?
View 5 RepliesI'm trying to take out the rear headrest on my dad's 2011 F150 crew cab so that i can put my kid's carseat back there. I hit the two release buttons, but the headrest hits the ceiling before the pegs come out of the holes. How are you supposed to remove these things? Does the seat lean forward somehow?

How to take out the back seat of the Passat? I'm needing to run a Pioneer IP bus cable to the trunk and it would be easier with the bottom of the rear seat out. I looked in the archives and found a thread saying you just pull up on the bottom. I have pulled up on the bottom of the seat so hard that I'm worried that I will break it. I still can't get it out. Is there something I'm missing?

View 1 RepliesI would like information how to remove the rear seat back on a 2012 F250. I want to remove the head rests and from what I can find out they are bolted solid to the rear panel. I asked the same question earlier and got a reply for 2011, would that be the same? Is there any place I could get a schematic, a picture is worth a thousand words.
