I'm talking about the flash to pass feature, not turn signals.

View 2 Replies2004. Hazards and brake lights work.
View 6 RepliesI recently installed new halo HID headlights in my 2003 f150 with HID bulbs and ballast the passenger side worked and the drivers side didn't nth lights wired exactly the same. I switched everything from the passenger to the drivers side still nothing I switched everything back to passenger side and they don't work now. I tired regular bulbs in the passenger side an it worked then on the drivers side and it worked for a split second and went out and then I retried t on the passenger side and it worked for a split second and went out a now neither are working. I checked all the fuses and their good. What the problem could be?
View 5 Replies08 SANTA FE, NO HI OR LOW BEAMS. Daylight running lites work, fog lites work, checked all fuses, relays, and bulbs,& connectors.
View 9 RepliesAny way to run fogs and high beams same time?
View 9 RepliesI have a 1997 Explorer XLT. The high beam have not worked since I got it and now living in Virginia they are needed to pass inspection. When turned on (pushed forward) lights go out, high beam indicator comes on. When flash to pass (pulled back) lows stay on and indicator comes on. It does not have auto lamps.
What I have done:
Replaced MFS
Verified power from GRY/ORG wire on MFS when turning high beams on.
Verified power across fuse #33 when switch turned on.
Had bulbs tested, Good.
No power on high beam wire at the bulb socket.
The only thing I have not checked is what several people have referred to as a "splice" I think someone referred to it as S111? Where this is physically located or am I going to have to start the chore of tracing the wires?
Just replaced my headlights within the past 4 months. Last night, I go to turn on headlights and nothing turns on, not even the parking lights. High beams work just fine. Checked fuses this morning - fuse for low beams is fine. Not sure why all 4 lights would fail at the same time. A fuse was all I could think of besides pure coincidence.
View 4 RepliesMy headlights don't turn on but everything else does DRL turning signals. I tested the resistance to ALL the fuses. I have two new ignitors and two new 10k light bulbs. The only way my high beams work is if i hold the lever in to bypass the resistors but like I said they don't turn on when I turn the HL switch. I just bought a new HL switch two .. the issue remains, what it could be?
View 3 RepliesI recently got this car from a friend, and when checking all the lights I noticed that only the high beams work, not the low beams. I replaced the lamps, and checked all the fuses, but the low beams still don't work.
View 3 RepliesThe normal lo-beams won't turn on no matter what I do, but the brights still work. The bulbs are good, the fuses are good. I've tested and changed those. They're good. 2008 Santa Fe ....
View 13 RepliesWhy I have one headlight gone dim, high beam will not work. This just happened about a week ago and I changed the bulb and it's still the same.
View 9 RepliesBasically, my high beams work when flashed (pulling the lever), but they don't work when I want to leave them on (push the lever). It's obvious that it's not the bulbs since they work when flashing. I'd really like to avoid taking it to the dealership since the Lexus dealerships in my area are notorious for overcharging their customers and not doing a good job.
View 7 RepliesI bought a used 2002 Camry (at a discounted price because of a few dings and dents) and the headlights are not working. The high beams and turn signals work but not the headlights. I changed the bulbs, checked all the fuses and got a new relay but still nothing. I brought it to an electro-mechanic and he told me the ECM was busted and that he could maybe grind it down. This seemed odd to me so I called my old mechanic in the states who said he has never heard of an ECM causing headlights not to work and suggested I install a toggle switch. Does this sound like it could work? Could I do this on my own? I'm pretty handy but am a little hesitant to try any electrical work on my car as I have no experience with electrical work.
View 3 RepliesMy truck only has low beams. When you move the stalk on the colum backwords it changes nothing, when you move it forwards the low beams go out but the high beams do not come on.
View 14 RepliesMy 2007 Dodge Caravan has only one working headlight, the passenger side does not work on high or low beams.
At this time I'm wondering if the problem is in the headlight plug itself, because there are no other complications other than the passenger side not working.
The light did work at first on high beams but now not at all. replacing bulbs makes no difference. There is some brown discoloring on the white strip on the plug face, nothing like this on the driver side.
Also hoping that the problem is not the relay or front control module.
I have checked fuse 46 and 47, and installed new headlight bulbs. I have high beams, but no low beams. I have searched this topic but no one has the same prob it seems. My headlight switch has broken. Could it be the headlight switch?
In my manual, it says the 2002 has a fuse panel behind the glove box. I took glove box out but it doesn't look like a fuse panel.
It ford related but I just bought a used car that has hid low beams and when you turn on high beams there is no light at all. The blue light on dash comes on and head lights go off. I just got this car 2 days ago and haven't really looked into it.
View 5 RepliesGot a 2003 F150 4.6 2wd and recently the blinkers dont work. Also some how the 4wd light came on even though the truck is a 2wd. After searching it seems alto of people recommend replacing the Multi Function Switch. The truck is plain jane no tilt wheel.
Is this the MFS everyone is talking about?

My work truck is an 03 F250 5.3L. My flashers recently stopped working. I turn them on, and they will work anywhere from 5 seconds to a few minutes, then either blink rapidly and shut off, stay solid for a few seconds and shut off, or just shut off. I push the switch off and on again, and the cycle repeats. All my other lights and turn signals work fine with no issues.
This wouldn't be a huge issue, but where I work I need the flashers a lot. The truck has a bar light and siren/pa system wired into it, but not to the lights or anywhere near that. I can't say exactly how it's wired because I didn't install it, but I followed the wires and they don't go under the steering wheel where I would assume the relay and wires for flashers would be.
What sounds like is wrong? I wouldn't think it would be the relay because then I would think that I would be having problems with more than just the flashers. So I'm not sure if there would just be a ground issue or if it's the actual switch that turns on the hazards. Also, there are no lights that are burnt out.
My low beams won't work. High beams and fog lights work just fine. We just replaced both bulbs a few months ago so the chances are pretty slim that it's a blown bulb.
I've checked the fuses and relays. I switched the low beam and high beam relays with no luck. Still no low beams.
I have a 2010 prius the basic model I turned the lights and both headlights went out they only worked on high beams.
I changed the bulbs no luck they still only work on high beams checked fuses they looked good is there anything else I can check?
