I've replaced all 8 of my truck's injectors in the hope of curing a rough idle and high long term fuel trims. How long should it take for the ECU to adjust all the fuel trims to account for the new injectors? Or is it best to disconnect the battery for 30min or so in order to reset the ECU and allow it to learn trims from scratch?

When I start the truck it runs fine for roughly ten seconds then it shuts off power to two of my injectors. Or so I thought. With a noid light on, I was getting shutdown on cylinders 1 and 6 as per the codes ten seconds after starting. I assumed this was as intended to stop raw fuel from entering the cats.
So far this is my findings. Noid light-shuts off the two cylinders after ten seconds. But will pulse again later before shutting them down again. Truck idles better, but never seems quite perfect. Could just be how 5.4's are though.
Swapping injectors did not change codes.
Coil packs are working on those cylinders. Spark test checked out and plugs are firing. They were replaced at some point with oem motorcraft plugs.
ohm test showed wiring to those cylinders was fine. Wiggle test showed the same.
The truck revs and sounds great before it shuts off power to the cylinders. I cannot assume a mechanical failure at this point. I have not ran a compression test on it yet as, in their great wisdom, Ford determined they had to be different than the rest of the planet with spark plug sizing. Adapter will be here tomorrow for me to verify that part.
I have checked around quite a bit so maybe this has been somewhere else on the site and I missed it. I have exhausted everything minus a compression test. I can only point a finger at the computer currently. But I am not quite sure how to verify that is the issue. And quite frankly, I have never seen a computer go bad without outside interference.
On a sidnote, the truck starts very hard at times. Like a car that has heavily advanced timing. It could actually just be a starter issue though. I figured I would get to that after I find out what the other issue is.
I have an 06 F150 with 31K miles, with the 5.4 V8, and recently experienced an engine misfire condition, caused by two stuck open fuel injectors. The dealer fixed everything back, but, said its not covered like the 05's, so I had to pay.
Why the 06 5.4 with the same problem as the 05's, is not covered? Seems to me like Ford still has a problem with stuck fuel injectors on the 06.
I have a 2005 F-150 4x2 with 4.2L mojo. If I change the struts, is an alignment required due to slight changes in the top mount location? I plan on having it aligned but timing wise I may not be able to get it all done at the same time.

1. Key ON.
2. Select OK to get rid of OIL CHANGE REQUIRED message.
3. Scroll down to SETTINGS and push OK.
4. Scroll down to VEHICLE and push OK.
5. Scroll down to OIL LIFE RESET and push OK.
6. Scroll to any % other than what you want and push OK.
7. Scroll to what % you want and push OK.
8. Key OFF.
I am just out of the dealer service period (2 years, 25000m). I took my Prius -v (3) 2012 to my mechanic. He did the oil and filter change, but could not reset the Maint Reqd light. It seems it is different from the regular Prius. I looked on the forum, and tried the suggestions, but none worked. It was supposed to be (with odometer showing).
Turn the “POWER” switch to ON mode. The multi-information displays initial screen will be displayed for a few seconds. While the initial screen is being displayed, press the “TRIP” steering switch (→P. 186) 3 times, pressing and holding the switch on the third time. I tried doing this both with my foot on the break and off, but all I got was a reset trip.
Got 14 Prius V back from first maintenance today and noticed the mechanic forgot to reset the light. So I called my advisor and she told me what to do. Here is process for others to share:
1. Set odo/trip to Trip A
2. Turn off vehicle
3. Hold down mi/hr-km/hr button on dash
4. While holding down button, turn on vehicle to ON state (Press Power button TWICE, but DO NOT press brake pedal - you don't want engine to start)
5. Wait while Maint Req light flashes, then goes off completely - about 4 seconds.
6. Turn off vehicle.

My car has pulled to the left when the steering wheel is put center, and it is off center to the right when the car goes straight at higher speeds. It has been like this since new, it is only a few months old. I had the alignment done, and it is good, however, the CodeLink was not done, and from what I understand, this is what resets the steering angle sensors and puts the steering wheel to center.
I have a 14 RX with 12,000 miles on it and want to reset the message. I'm not finding anything when doing a search here. Need to reset the message? I'll be doing my own oil changes and tire rotations since the first free dealer oil change and rotation.
