May 19, 2015
2007 F150 Lariat.. I cannot get disc 1 to eject from the changer. It will eject the other 5. It starts to eject disc 1, I can see the edge of the disc, then it just reloads it.

I have a 2002 F-350 with the 6-disc changer in dash and one of the CD is stuck in the opening. It is a little too deep for me to reach and the opening is too small for my set of needle nose... How I am going to get this CD out?

Shut my truck off, now it won't start. Turn key to start position all proper lights appear on dash. No clicks,no nothing. Replaced a relay which owners manual shown as starter solenoid, man at auto parts said it was fried. Put new relay in still no change. checked everything I could find w/ ignition, starter, solenoid ,etc. fuses relays, according to pictures in owner's manual, they all appeared to be ok. Never, ever had any problems with this truck and charging system is working,IE: battery isn't shot.

My 2007 F150. That jack wobbles in the hole and, when I plug in a cave, it does not make solid contact. What I am wondering is, does that little panel on top of the dash pop out of that hole to give access to the jack? I am wondering if I can tighten it and re-tension the contacts if I can just get behind that panel.

So it finally happened -- I got CDs stuck in the JBL factory-installed four-disc changer on my 2010 Toyota Prius. (We predicted this would happen the first time we saw it.) What I didn't expect was that the dealership says it can't be repaired and that the CD player -- and the whole navigation system -- have to be replaced. Really? That's the kind of planned obsolescence that will make me never buy another Toyota again.
I took it to a car audio specialist who told me the same thing. But there again, their goal is sell me something, so I’m skeptical. I’m thinking about going the route of giving in to an extended warranty swindle and then cancelling it once I get the cd player replaced. But that feels like overkill, and it makes me as duplicitous as I suspect they are being. If it’s indeed true, that cds stuck in the cd player means you have to replace everything? That’s just not right…

Ok, my father has an LS460L with the Mark Levinson system.
When you press the load button, nothing happens. When you press and hold the button for a couple seconds, there is a beep, but the gate in the CD slot never drops down and the CD changer will not accept a CD.
Is there some other trick to this, or is his CD player broken?

I have had a 2007 for less than a month (mailed first payment today) and the disc changer died. I have played many audio book CDs in it during my 3 hour daily commute but today it decided that was all it would do.
Owners Manual said to take it to my Toyota dealer for this problem. I am reading posts which say it will take 4-6 weeks for a repair. Library will be upset about disks being gone that long.
Only time I like this car is at the gas pump. Any updated information on how to fix this problem without disassembling the entire dash?
Glad I kept my 98 Buick. It still works after 168,000 miles.

Can I or could I make an 04 Radio with a 6 disc changer work in a 1999 F150. The radio in the truck now is having some issues and I don't want to put an after market in so I am just wondering if it could work.

I have been trying to find a way to connect an auxiliary input on my factory 6-disc CD changer factory stereo of my 2004 F250. I want to hook up my XM without using the FM modulator. Most forums I search state there is not one for the 04. I have included photo of rear of HU ...

Recently my santa fe has been acting up. One time I got in and nothing came on, no light, door noise, nothing. I closed, then opened my door and everything turned back on, clock reset itself and the cd changer kept shuffling through the cds. Another time this happens before I got in the car. I opened my door to hear the cd changer shuffling and the clock had reset. This has happened 4 time in the pasted 3 weeks.

My main problem right now is that i am stuck in 4x4 low. Organically (should have left it at this) my truck would not do anything, no 4x4 high or low lights when i turned the switch.(lights worked when truck is first turned on) I researched it on the net and came across the idea to tap the Transfer Case Motor. I did this and my truck locked in 4x4 low and would not come out. I kept tapping on it while someone turned the dash switch and nothing, so i ordered a new(rebuilt) motor (160.00!!)
I got the new motor today and while installing it (I replaced the 2 speed wires) i turned the switch and it went in 4x4 high but i put it back in 4x4 low in order to bolt the motor to the transfer case. After I bolted it on, I tried to take it out of 4 low (in neutral and foot on brake) and it would not disengage. My front hubs will not lock, i am going to get on this after i get it out of 4x4 low(take it to a friends shop so i can lift front end up etc.) I have recently replaced the iwe solenoid on the passenger side firewall.

One of the possible locations for the CD changer for my 2004 Mercury Sable in the Owner's Manual said right side cargo area storage compartment. Is that the back of the wagon?

The truck seems to continue to crank sometimes even after I let the key go. Kinda like it's having a difficult time starting and NEEDS to be cranked a wee bit more and takes over for me. Is this an ignition issue that I can (need) to address or is it normal. I have ZERO experience with a newer vehicle nor a Ford truck.

My young lad just picked up a 2004 F150 4x4. While fixing it up we have encountered a weird problem. The key goes in , starts and runs the truck but cannot be removed, unless you unhook the battery.

For the last couple of months, I am not able to push the button on the gear selector to change out of park. Twice I have had to give up and drive the wife's car. When I come back it works once and then it starts again.

06 Screw, ESOF. Tried to use 4x4 high the other day and all I got was a quick flash of the light, then nothing. No sounds from tc motor, nothing. left it in 2wd instead and drove to work. Came out of work and 4X4 high light is stuck on (even when switch is in 2wd), and only rear tires powered. Didn't have time to look at it, drove it for the last few days with light on, but no 4wd. Tonight, I tried low range and sure enough, heard a clunk and low range works, but only 2wd. Goes in and out of high and low 4X4, but no power to the front wheels. Where do I start? I put in 2 new IWE's and the updated IWE solenoid last winter to fix a problem, worked great til this. Is there a write up on how to test the switch and connection at TCM? I haven't jacked it up to see what is/isn't locked yet, but on pavement with wheels cranked all the way, it doesn't hop like it would when in 4X4.

My daughter's 2004 F150 has a horn problem. She used it the other day and it would not stop blowing. Someone unplugged it for her. When I checked it out and re-plugged it in it still continues to blow. Question is where do I begin. Does this have a horn relay? Do I have to remove the air bag to access the connections under the pad? I own a 1985 F150 and mine is much simpler.
