Ford F-150 - 1997-2003 :: CD Player Refuses To Eject Any Of The Discs - Error

I have an 03 F-150 XLT with the 6 disc changer, and I can't get the dang thing to eject. It plays most of the cds fine (sometimes it won't play a certain couple of the six that are in the changer, and reads "CD ERROR" after trying to play the disc for a moment) but it refuses to eject any of the discs. It pushes them out just a little bit and then errors. I've attempted to pull the disc out once its pushed itself out a little, but it won't release them.
I then have to mess with it for several minutes to get it to retake the disc and quit pushing it out again, and then a few more to quit erroring when I change it to disc. I've tried to disconnect the battery (I read in a forum that that sometimes works) but to no avail. I know its a frequent issue with these. I figure I can pull the stereo out and take it apart to get the discs, but how can I fix the issue for good?

My ML player all of a sudden won't play or eject any of the discs that are in it. I was watching a DVD waiting for my wife and it must have had a scratch on it because the picture got stuck. I ended up turning it off to listen to the radio. The next day when trying to play a CD all I get is a light grinding/churning noise like the mechanism is stuck or something.

Having Error 4 message from the CD player. I just had it today and my CDs won't play and I can't eject them. I have the Mark Levinson. Is it an easy fix?

I was adding some CD music to my jukebox on the stock 2010 Ford NAV radio today. I hit the eject button, but the disc did not come out. I tried hitting eject a few times with no luck. Only once when I hit the eject button did it make any noise like it was trying to eject. The screen read "Eject Error". How to get the disc out?

Actually it does eventually but you never know when it is ready to eject so I am afraid to use it anymore.

In my 2000 Ex the player ejects sometimes but sometimes it will if I wait a couple days and try it again so I am afraid to use it.

My 2008 Sienna DVD player suddenly won't play discs because it doesn't seem to be spinning the disc. Inserting and ejecting the disc goes normally but the nothing happens when the disc is inserted.

while loading discs the CD player stopped accepting them. it started blinking "Call Sirius". i'm pretty sure the car doesn't have sirius radio and not sure why that'd affect the CD player even if it did. now it blinks "press eject" and is no longer flashing the sirius message. when i press eject it turns off and the radio plays. i tried taking out the fuse and putting it back it but that didn't affect it at all.

So just recently (few days back) I was playing a DVD Disc, home-burned, with just audio on it. It has about 33 tracks of music on it. I noticed that towards the end of the disc (track 27), it started skipping, having crackling and popping sounds, and eventually just stopped playing and the timer went blank on the screen.
I took it out, the disc looked perfect (I had just burned it). I cleaned the disk anyway, put it back in, and it played fine. The next day, I noticed the same problem with the same disc. I removed the disc, cleaned it, and this time it did not solve the problem.
This morning, I tried a different disc (16 tracks), and the same problem happened after playing track 16 for a few seconds. Crackling/popping, skipping, and then playback stopped. This was also a home-burned DVD disc. No errors are displayed on the screen.
I have noticed no issues towards the beginning of any discs. I have not tried my store-bought DVDs after noticing this issue, but will try those today to see if they have the same problem. If those discs also have the same issue, is it likely an issue related to the laser?
I've got about 21k miles on the car. I have a 2013 ES 350 with the Mark Levinson system.

The CD player (6 disk changer) in my 2006 Honda Accord will not play disks above freezing temperatures. (To clarify, it is the model without the GPS.) I say temperatures because the playable cut-off usually fluctuates between 30 and 36 degrees F. Below that temperature, the disk plays fine.
Above that temperature, I will be lucky to get 15 seconds of play before the disk begins to skip and eventually error out. Additionally, the disk will skip and error after the cabin warms up. Over the last 9 or so months, this has been consistent behavior.
I first noticed this last summer in very hot weather when a disk began to skip. Since then, there is only one disk that plays reliably in any weather.

I can't get my CD out. It was an MP3 disc, it won't load, and it won't eject. I thought maybe I took it out and forgot but it still says CD IN and I can see it. How can I get this out?

I just noticed that my car's cassette player is not ejecting the cassette, not playing it ( means not lowering the cassette inside the deck to play it. Looks like some issue with stuck mechanism.
I want to remove the player open it and study waht's wrong, Is there a easy way to do so ? I can hear it clicking trying to activate the mechanism so it's getting power.

Accent 2007 year, 3-door.
I'm having a problem with MP3/CD Player that came along with the car, i.e. I didn't install it myself. Basically, after I inserted CD, I can't eject it back, nor can I switch in CD mode, by pressing CD button.
It looks like it jammed inside. Is there any way to work around and retrieve the disk, or the player must be disassembled for this?
CD didn't have defects or scratches, the surface is ideal.

I have the basic radio and my 7 year old stuck an undersize round CD into the player which won't eject it, won't recognize it, and won't mount another regular disc. The dealer says that I need to send the whole player off to be repaired and that they have no tool to fuss with it for this - I know that undersize discs are a problem for the computer industry, sadly, my little guy jumped into the car and did this without my foreknowledge. We were preparing to leave the house.

I have recently acquired a 1997 F250 LD (same body as the 150)the exhaust system is screwed(currently rebuilding it due to some IDIOT trying to cut out the cats with a grinder and cutoff wheel) and it won't idle (runs alright with a little finessing of the throttle) but after I get the exhaust rebuilt to where the O2 sensors get the proper flow I was going to clean the IAC valve but was wondering if the exhaust not feeding right would cause idle issues a well. Put things in a nutshell...the truck will run but will not idle. IAC Probs, Exhaust Probs, or combination of both??

Why I am getting such terrible gas mileage? The truck refuses to move off of 12 mpg. I made a 500 mile trip half of it at 70 mph running 2100 rpm. And when I filled up I calculated out 11.3 mpg. After that fill up hopped on the interstate and was running around 85 @ 2600 rpm expecting my mileage to drop even lower. Then i was on two lane hwy again constantly passing people and it only dropped to 11.1 mpg. Now no matter how easy I drive or how hard I drive it will not move over 12 mpg. Whether the tank is 100% hwy or 50/50. Its a 5 spd manual 4x4 with no modifications running the 4.6 v8. I just swapped air filters to a K&N and still no change.

I recently bought an 02 F-150 FX4. Have not had a lot of time to go thru it yet, as it will be a work truck when I get it set up. I notice when I turn the key to the run position it sounds like a CD player under the dash "whirring" for about 5-8 seconds then it stops. It does have some kind of electric brake controller mounted near the bottom of the dash, but the noise is further behind that. If it ever stops snowing or being way below zero I'll get it out of the garage and see if I can figure it out... All runs good...all options work OK....and it doesn't appear to be related to the factory CD -radio.

My Taurus has developed a problem where it refuses to start. When I try to start it, it just cranks over and over and over. I keep trying till the battery starts getting weak. I charge up the battery and then try it again with no luck. A neighbor suggested I get a piece of lumber and gently pound on the gas tank suggesting it might be a stuck fuel pump problem [whatever that means!]. Actually it worked once but after I drove the car all day doing errands the next morning was the same problem. That was three weeks ago.

I am able to reproduce an error on my 2005's audio system. What "Error 4" means? I have to actually turn off the car to reset the CD player.
Here's how I reproduce it:
Background:It's a non-ML system
6-CD changer, cassette, AM/FM
I have six CD's loaded into the system
Steps:When listening to FM radio, push the CD button
Press the "Disk" up-arrow button rapidly (it is the radio station preset #4 button) to change disks. I usually cycle through five or six rapid disk changes, normally going from Disk 1 to Disk 6, in a fast manner.
Sure enough, after the fourth or fifth (maybe sixth) button press, "Error 4" flashes on the display. At this point, I can't do anything with the CD player. I can, however, switch to radio and listen as usual.
To reset the error message and to begin using the CD player again, I have to turn off the ignition. Turning off just the audio system doesn't reset the error.
