I have a 2002 F-350 with the 6-disc changer in dash and one of the CD is stuck in the opening. It is a little too deep for me to reach and the opening is too small for my set of needle nose... How I am going to get this CD out?

View 10 RepliesOn my '06 XL F350 I want to know if and how I can hook up an auxiliary input. It has the AUX button ,but it doesn't have any aux audio port in the dash anywhere like some of the nicer F-series have. When I push the AUX button, the screen reads "NO AUX AUDIO". Is there an adapter I can buy to plug in the back so I can actually have and auxiliary input?
View 3 Replies3 times now my GPS looses signal and puts me in the middle of a field or ocean. If I turn off the car and turn it back on GPS will lock on. You can see the no-GPS Signal icon on the bottom left side of the screen attached.
View 2 RepliesI have a 1999 F-350 crew cab. I have a fusion active bass tube in the back, and my family went to Tahoe, so I took out all the bass tube but the wires had to be left in the truck. I thought I capped the wires but I guess I didn't or the cap came off. Anyways, I was plugging the wires back into the bass tube when I got home and there was a big spark, I think the ground wire and the wire connected to the battery touched. Now the radio does not work at all. I'm guessing I blew a fuse, I don't know how to fix it, or what fuse that would need to be replaced.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2016 F-350 Lariat. I want to install a second backup camera (high mount) to see my fifth wheel hitch when hooking up. It will be located either near or in the third brake light. I really do not want to add another display or change the OEM display. My question; is there any way to add a second camera input the the OEM head unit? Or can I use the A/V inputs and disable the OEM Backup Camera when I want to use the high mount.

View 2 RepliesI just installed a new Pioneer head unit in my 2002 Excursion. Everything works great except it doesn't work on accessory power. I used a harness to harness hook up but I basically just connected like colored wires. When done I had three extra wires coming from the truck harness, black with a white line, and two orange wires... one may have had a black stripe. All others were connected. Do I have to get power off of a wire from the ignition switch or did I not connect one I should have?
View 4 Replies2013 F-250. Sync. No navigation. I am able to pair my Android cell phone to the truck and all works fine. Can send and receive calls using the voice commands etc. I am also able to play music from my bluetooth enabled LG V10 android cell phone. When I start the truck, it automatically detects my cell phone, connects to it and begins playing music from my cell phone through the truck stereo. And therein lies the problem.
My question is, is there a way to tell the truck to go ahead and connect to the cell phone, but don't start playing music. In other words, I don't want the truck to launch the music player on my cell phone. I always have to either turn off the player on my cell phone or give the "pause" command through bluetooth audio.
A cd is just spinning in the unit and when I try to change to a different cd in the changer it won't let me.

View 6 RepliesSo i have this whistle/wine through my system when running the Sirius thingy. It seems to correlate with rpm... Higher the rpm... higher pitched the whine/whistle...
The pitch of the whistle almost matches my turbo whistle. The Sirius is powered through the cigar lighter port. Aux audio 3.5mm cord from Sirius to the stereo head.
The display in the stereo in my crown vic died a while ago. It is the same single disc CD player used in the 99-03 superduty trucks.

View 3 RepliesI had Best Buy install a Vipor 3000 on my 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4. The alarm keeps going off for no reason. Best Buy sez it is they trucks computer waking up and going through a cycle. Sound like BS to me.

my question is i have matched up all the speaker wires no problem power ground and illumination wires good.
now on my ford end of my harness i still have a pink wire a black/green wire and a red/black wire.....what are these wires for?
ill be building a box to go behind the seat of my crew cab f250.. is a shallow sub necessary? or can you use a normal sub?
