View 3 RepliesAs luck would have it I'm leaving out in the morn for 600 miles , Noticed a nail in my L/F tire yesterday went too Goodyear they pilled the tire patched it inside.. Then this morn went to fuel up my ABS light stayed on .. Did this last yr. went off after a few days but since the tire was pulled maybe its a bad connection ??? ..Jut want to be sure and scan codes
I want to scan it now to check and reset any codes But looked under the Drivers side dash can not find the OBD connection port looked on Passenger side nothing there either.. Looked under hood around fuse box did not see anything that kind of looked like a port with a cap I'd assume they cap them if under the hood .. Its a 05 S/D 6.0 locate this OBD11 port
Where is the OBD2 port?
View 1 RepliesWhere is it. Probably under some shroud, but before I start taking things off, where it is from the perspective of standing in front of the grill.
View 2 RepliesI guess I shouldn't be surprised that I can't find the location of the OBD port in any of the written material on my '06 Avalon.

I think I have a slow leak, so I bought a DIY and was going to recharge it and see if that fixes it. Where exactly is the low pressure port so I can charge it?
Is it complicated to do? Looking for a picture of the location?
I just learned that the charging port is in the right rear, compared to the Prototype with the port in the left front. Seems to me that about 50% of the time, the driver will get in the car and drive off with the car still plugged in because they won't see the cable when getting in. Or at best, you will get in the car, and then have to get out again to unplug it. What am I missing?

View 4 RepliesI have a 2006 F-250 6.0 diesel. The high side service port schrader valve is leaking. Currently there is a charge on the system but its low. I planned on evac-ing the system, replace the cores and refill until i came across this valve remove/replacement tool from MasterCool. The only problem i have is not knowing whether or not this tool fits the valve cores I have. I see already that the high side is quite a large core. I cant even find a core removal tool at local auto parts stores to fit. What size my valve cores are or if the following would fit both high and low sides?
View 3 Replies2011 Aux port only working on left side. Its not the cable. Plug port seams loose and wiggles. Use for Sat Radio hook up.
View 6 RepliesI have a ES350 and it is doing the issue of having warm air (or not cooled air) on the driver side, but has cold air on the passenger side. I looked around and saw it was a common problem. One of the solutions I read was to just refill the system with R134A. Not a problem for me, except I don't know where the low pressure port is located in my car. I was trying to find a online service repair manual on my car to locate where I need to connect to, to recharge the system.
View 12 RepliesI just checked the HVAC FAQ sticky and found my symptom and problem listed there with corrective action. Extremely useful.
My issue is, I'm on crutches due to a recent foot surgery. Doctor's orders do not allow me to put any weight on that foot for at least another week.
Looking for a picture of these port connections for the truck listed in my signature? I'd like to see where they're located before I hobble on out to the truck. I have a feeling I'm not gonna be able to do this on crutches and my daughters need the A/C working.
Where is the low side hook up to charge my a/c 2003 f250 v10
View 6 RepliesThis morning the passenger side wiper on my 89 Ranger stopped working. I heard a clunk noise and it stopped but driver side still works. What should I check first? I'm guessing a shaft came off but don't know where it is located.
View 14 RepliesHave an E150 van with 302 engine. Where is the low pressure charging port on this beast.? The high press. is immediately visible but can not find low....
The van still has the old r-12 and I have 2 cans left...want to charge the system one more time before we get our new 6.0L VAN late this winter!
Cigarette lighter works and shared fuse seems fine. OBD port even powers up my cheapo elm bluetooth reader. Unfortunately multiple different readers refuse to connect. I've tried disconnecting negative terminal for a half hour and trying again but no luck.
View 3 RepliesI posted this in the 6.0 section, but I thought maybe it should have been here since it's not really about the engine.
I bought a Kiwi2 BT OBD adapter and the Torque Pro app. Adapter does not power up when connected, key on or off.
Checked fuse #12 visually, looked good.
Verified power to booth the lighter plug and 12v accessory outlet.
Verified that the fuse I was pulling killed to lighter plug when I removed it.
I have not actually put a meter on the OBD pin because I am at work and have no meter. I did, however, connect the adapter to a co-worker's Tacoma and it powered up and I was able to pair it with my phone.
Since the 2150A was computer controlled it has no ported distributor vacuum advance port, correct?
If you have a distributor with vacuum advance and a 2150A carb, where do you connect the advance to if not the carb?
I plugged in my basic OBDII scanner but I'm getting nothing back (the scanner works on my car so it's not the scanner). This is inline with the transmission shop where they said they couldn't connect either to my truck. But now the question is: now what? I don't think there is a fuse or such but how to troubleshoot the port.
Oh, and no, the CEL is not illuminated, just the ABS light remaining on from when my 4R100 was replaced a couple weeks ago. Can't connect to diagnose.
