Ford A/C :: 2010 - Water Won't Flow Through Lines?

Water won't flow through lines for the heat to reach the back of the van. Have checked everything that could be blocking the water flow.

View 1 RepliesIs it true that if your drain lines are clogged water will backflow to the relay in the fuse box?
View 3 RepliesI just get my water inverter pump changed yesterday and what I have noticed now every time I power off the car, I can hear water flow. I did not hear this kind of sound before. What could be the problems with my car now?
View 12 RepliesI am hearing a water flow sound under the right side of the dash when I turn corners or stop. It started when the radiator cracked. I have replaced the radiator and water pump. I have filled the radiator with the front of the SUV up and the engine running. Also tried jacking the rear of the SUV up. I have flushed the heater core. And re connected the hoses bleed air at the top of the hoses from the heater core, the return from the water pump to the radiator, and at the radiator to the water pump. Yesterday I pulled the dash out and found the heater core to be more center of the dash behind the climate control. The sound seems to be coming from more right behind the glove box. Any suggestions before I reassemble the dash. I have removed and cleaned the lower half of the ac coil/condenser box. There was no fluid in it and the drain line was not plugged.
View 17 RepliesSo my drivers side wiper is leaving 3 distinct lines across the screen. It sort of looks like something is being dragged across the screen in the rain even though the wipers are clean.
Like this (except only 3 lines):
Anyway, I changed the wiper refill on the driver's side regardless but it still does the same thing. What it could be? Its not the refills as they are brand new.
Another thing - I used RainX and the wipers have removed it where the 3 lines are (which is why they are showing up as lines).
The 3 lines are exactly where the clips for the OEM plastic housing is which hold the rubber refill.
I tinted my Prius v's rear hatch window with SunTek CXP film yesterday morning. When driving at night with the tinted window, there are streaks of glare along rear defogger lines caused by the headlights behind me.
For v owner with tinted hatch window.
So recently I decided to add some fluid to the windshield washer tank, but when I added some, a clump of slime fell right in. Needless to say I couldn't do much about it. Now I have no fluid running through the system. What could I do to purge the junk out of the system? And where is the pump that drives the system?
I figured out I would have to remove the bumper to get to this part. In theory I could take it up to the dealership ...
I bought my 2012 RX 350 April 2012. I noticed that the rear mirror had like melting or warp look. Then the side door panel and in back -wing of car (spooler?) had some ripples lines. I went to dealer first they said they would order parts for mirror and side panel (this was fix awhile back sept). but the have to get factory inspector to come out and inspect car for the spooler part.
I dropped my car off because the manager says he needs to look car himself before determining anything. He told me he thinks I parked my car near high efficiency windows and had reflected and caused the melting or warp or ripple on my car.
I took my Prius Two to its first car wash today, afterwards, the air flow from the vents became minimal, almost non-existent. How could this be? The car is barely two months old. Prior to the car wash, I had the AC and air blasting to the highest, I didn't change any fan settings, and now there's barely any air coming out. I can hear the fans churning and running, but there's no air!!! Do I take it to the dealer?
View 2 RepliesThis is the first winter with my 2012 Prius, and I've been suspicious of the climate controls. Today, my passenger complained that there was not heat going the to feet. I've always worn insulated shoes/pants so I didn't really notice before.
I jacked up my fan, increased the temperature and changed the aim to the feet/knees only. I then put my hand to where the gas pedal is. I couldn't feel any air flow at the feet. There was still plenty of air coming out of the upper side vents that blows towards your chest. The upper vent got hot, but not the feet.
Why there's no/little airflow to the feet? I'm thinking of checking my carbon filter but it is too cold be pulling out parts. I'm now suspicious if my car's air direction function works properly.
What are the selection input for these? I have seen them go back and forward on its own. I have also been told that there is an in-cabin humidity sensor but have seen no documentation on it. Does that switch between fresh and recirculate?
View 2 RepliesCleaning the MAF on the GX460? I have seen videos on youtube but the MAF positioning on the GX460 is a little hard to get to. I am wanting to clean the MAF because I am still experiencing some sluggishness. The vehicle's response had improved after a fuel induction and a spark plug change but it is still sluggish when compared to other GX's I have test drove. It is sort of inconsistent. Sometimes, it drives super smooth and the gears quickly shift other times the gears take forever to upshift and downshift.
View 1 RepliesI know the owners manual says 87 octane or higher. I'm only on my third tank of gas but yesterday I think I heard some "pinging" when I needed to catch up with the traffic flow. So far I have been using 87 octane from Raleys Aisle One. (Sacramento area) I think it's a generic gas but not sure where it comes from.....

View 1 RepliesI have a 2010 fx4 150. I have a water leak threw my sunroof?
View 1 RepliesI've got the front of the excursion done with my spring swap finally and now it's onto the rear. How do I move these ac lines along the passenger side to get them out of the way from that shackle bolt? I see the brackets holding them but since they are all hard lines how many do I have to remove?
View 3 RepliesI believe my rear AC lines in my 2003 EB V10 X pooped the bed on me today and Ford wants 3K to fix. I'm wondering if I could fix it my self. The leak was a bright green color so I'm assuming it was 134 or what ever in in the AC. The leak is right behind the passenger side of the motor just a little lower than the head. The dealer wants to replace almost everything for 3k but they don't want to budge on just repairing the broken line.
View 9 RepliesI am going to be changing my brake lines in the rear and to the rear of my X. i ordered the rubber lines. what i would like to know is the part number for the steel axle tube line and the line that runs the from from front to back.. I don't know if it matters but when i looked up the left caliper line I had to get it for to 12/20/99...
View 12 RepliesAc is leaking where the 2 lines go into the condenser. I went to Ford and bought OEM o-rings thinking it would be an easy fix. HA! New o-rings were put in by a mom and pop garage. Still leaking. Guy said it wasn't, but with my uv light I could clearly see the dye. Went to a recommended guy. He took it apart, cleaned the hoses where the o-rings sit. They were kinda dirty from leakage and stuff so he cleaned them up with a wire brush and 2000 grit.
Recharged, and we both looked with his huge uv light. Bad condenser, drivers side lit up like a night light. Replaced the condenser with an aftermarket condenser. Recharged, STILL LEAKING from where the hoses go into the condenser. Vacuumed down the system... Removed hoses, checked o-ring fit. They are snug on the hoses and have some resistance when plunging the hoses back in. What gives? I'm 360.00 into this this week...
Ok, so I have a 1993 ford escort gt that will not pump fuel through the fuel lines. I know the pump works, I can hear it kicking on and off, and if I remove the fuel lines from the pump fuel pours out. I know the lines are not clogged, I took a high pressure air pump and blew air through the lines, but for some reason when I hook up the lines it will not pump fuel through them, after turning it over if I remove the lines they are still dry.
View 8 RepliesI'm 1/2 way through a flush and water pump replacement. Its going to get cold and I don't want to blow any heater lines. I have the pump off and the block drained (I also managed to get some coolant into the block - but not the rear heat).
I don't see an easy place at the front to disconnect the lines. I'd like to blow them out just to be safe. What is the best place to disco in the front or if I even need to - can I just disco 1 in the rear and then blow in both direction?
I fear that there may be some vent door closed that will prevent flow. I can't start the truck - I can turn the key on.
