Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Moon Roof Not Closing All The Way / Reverses And Opens Back Up

About a quarter inch before it gets all the way closed it reverses and opens back up. I can stop it with the switch anywhere in between while it is closing, but not while it is opening.
It is acting like the bounce-back feature (as described in the manual) is activating, but the bounce-back override feature (pull and hold the SLIDE switch within two seconds of a bounce-back event) does nothing.
There are no signs of restriction, as it opens and closes very smooth and quiet, but it did make a loud pop sound the last time I used it a couple month ago. I can count on one hand the number of times I've used it.

04 GX470 , open the back window while driving also had front windows open and all of a sudden I hear this noise like a helicopter to find that my moon roof was vibrating ? So I closed the back windows and everything was normal?

Passenger window......When I try to close the window with drivers side switch, the windows hits the top then automatically reverses, and stops halfway. If I close it with the passenger switch, it remains closed.

My friend attended a powerstroke diesel class last week. During the class the person doing it mentioned that if you are going to do a EGR delete on a 6.0 you need to install a blow off valve. He said that the 6.0 will open the EGR valve if you over boost and since you deleted the EGR it will lift the heads. He said that the unision ring wears out which will cause the truck to over boost causing the over boost situation.

So I've been chasing a problem in my 07 6.0 for about 6 months now I had just changed the oil cooler and a week later was driving home and she quit a mile from my house I have since then changed the cmp sensor the alternator 3 injectors all the o-rings in the nipples of my oil rail both down tubes in the oil rail and the IPR valve most resently and last night I hooked it up to me auto engenuity scanner and the IPR valve is still not closing it stay at 14.84% the whole time I'm cranking. The only code I'm running is cmp sensor low a cuircut or something like that I can't remember the number.

I have replaced the EGR over 1 month ago and also replaced the MAP sensor also as it was bad. I also have a Scan gauge, for monitoring.
The problem is once the truck gets to OT and the valve opens I have heavy black smoke on take off?

I was in the car wash the other day and got sprayed by a little bit of water that came in from the moon roof. When I went through the blower, I put may hand up and felt the air blowing in. Is there any way to adjust the unit so it closes or maybe replace the felt seal that is on the perimeter. Since I live in AZ, its not a a major deal, but it is annoying none the less. Let me know what you think.

My car (#3325) is about two weeks old. When I drive over 45mph with the moon roof open there is a very noticeable buffeting sound. It's so strong the headliner vibrates.

So I go to this fancy laser carwash and notice the back of my head getting wet. Seems the back of the moon roof is letting in water when the high pressure jet passes over, it's not a lot but, this never happened to my other vehicles at the same wash.
I have noticed when the roof opens, it compresses further prior to sliding open. I wonder if it's somehow out of adjustment? I am not getting an "Open Moon Roof" notice on the dash.

This has to be one of the most shocking events of my life. Driving at freeway speed, I heard a boom. I stopped & I looked all around, to find busted moon roof, coming apart near the gasket & a hole (irregular shape) near the middle.

I recently purchased a brand new 2016 Legacy, and the moon roof leaks every time it rains. Water drips in at the back edge of the moon roof into a plastic tray that is supposedly part of the drainage system. I have had the moon roof replaced and the same issue still occurs. The dealership now says that the moon roof and drainage system are working as designed. I have a hard time believing that Subaru designed the moon roof to leak. However, the service manager at the dealership did show me another 2016 Legacy on the lot that had the same leak. I contacted Subaru regarding this issue and was told that they trust their service department's analysis of this issue.

After three repairs of a leaky sunroof that produces a puddle of water on my floorboard and a wet headliner I was told by the dealership and the toyota consumer complaint department that the leak was due to debris in the overflow tube. Their solution for me "don't park your RAV 4 under trees. They tell me it isn't a warranty issue or a design flaw. How can that not be a flaw? Shouldn't they sell them with a disclaimer stating if you live in the country and don't park in a garage your sunroof just might leak? Wait for it..............don't drive your car outside if it is going to rain!!!!

Having issue with a moon roof rattle in the up position, sounds as if the glass is loose. If I slightly close the rattle stops. Not sure if I want lexus taking apart the moon roof/ head liner to repair. I may just live with it, but would like to get it looked at. 2011 LS 460 sport.

It's my turn, while out site seeing my back seat power window don't work , the control from drivers seat or from the back seat door control, I popped both covers on the control switch and both are firmly plugged in, I don't have my meter with me to see if power is running back to the switch , this morning I'll try to switch out the two back seat controls to see if I can get at least that window to go down , 04 350 , would there be a fuse for each or is it in the switch in the door that the harness plugs into , that's the only window that won't go down...

Crawled under the new to me 13 super duty last weekend to see this. Where it's coming from? Over tightened oil filter maybe? The filter in the picture is the new filter fyi. Old filter had a little oil on it. It's all the way across the back of the oil pan.

I have my truck idling in the driveway while doing a coolant flush and it developed a weird idle. It will idle fine for a while then all of a sudden it will idle up a little for about 3 seconds then go back down. It will do this 3-4 times then go back to a regular idle for a while. I got in and watched my SCT X4 to see if anything changes. My actually RPM didn't change and neither did my fuel pressure or anything but my turbo added about 1.5 pounds of boost when it does it. It happens about every 4-5 minutes.

When I pulled my HPOP cover the other day, noticed some RTV on each side where you have the small step down from the block and the piece of metal on the backside of the pump housing. The new gasket I installed had he step down and looked like it would fill the gap, but is the RTV necessary?
There was a previous leak on the turbo drain tube that the dealer I bought it from tried to stuff some kind of fiberglass material in there to absorb the oil. I half wonder if the dealer didn't try to "fix" the back of the cover leaking by cramming some RTV in there. I have to pull the cover again in a couple days and wanted to see if I needed to do anything special when installing the cover?
